സംഖ്യാപുസ്തകം 30
Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, "This is the thing which YHWH has commanded.
2 ൨ ‘ആരെങ്കിലും യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ഒരു നേർച്ച നേരുകയോ ഒരു പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുവാൻ ശപഥം ചെയ്യുകയോ ചെയ്താൽ അവൻ വാക്കിന് ഭംഗം വരുത്താതെ തന്റെ വായിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ടതുപോലെ എല്ലാം അവൻ നിവർത്തിക്കണം.
When a man vows a vow to YHWH, or swears an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.
3 ൩ ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ബാല്യപ്രായത്തിൽ അപ്പന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ഒരു നേർച്ചനേർന്ന് ഒരു പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതം നിശ്ചയിക്കുകയും
"Also when a woman vows a vow to YHWH, and binds herself by a bond, being in her father's house, in her youth,
4 ൪ അവളുടെ അപ്പൻ അവളുടെ നേർച്ചയെയും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതത്തെയും കുറിച്ച് കേട്ടിട്ട് മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്താൽ അവളുടെ എല്ലാ നേർച്ചകളും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.
and her father hears her vow, and her bond with which she has bound her soul, and her father holds his peace at her; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond with which she has bound her soul shall stand.
5 ൫ എന്നാൽ അവളുടെ അപ്പൻ അവളുടെ എല്ലാ നേർച്ചയെയും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതത്തെയും കുറിച്ച് കേൾക്കുന്ന നാളിൽ അവളെ വിലക്കിയാൽ അവ സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കുകയില്ല; അവളുടെ അപ്പൻ അവളെ വിലക്കുകകൊണ്ട് യഹോവ അവളോട് ക്ഷമിക്കും.
But if her father disallow her in the day that he hears, none of her vows, or of her bonds with which she has bound her soul, shall stand: and YHWH will forgive her, because her father disallowed her.
"If she has a husband, while her vows are on her, or the rash utterance of her lips, with which she has bound her soul,
7 ൭ അവൾ ഒരുവന് ഭാര്യയാകുകയും ഭർത്താവ് അതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് കേൾക്കുന്ന നാളിൽ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്താൽ അവളുടെ നേർച്ചകളും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.
and her husband hears it, and holds his peace at her in the day that he hears it; then her vows shall stand, and her bonds with which she has bound her soul shall stand.
8 ൮ എന്നാൽ ഭർത്താവ് അത് കേട്ട നാളിൽ അവളെ വിലക്കിയാൽ അവളുടെ നേർച്ചയും അവൾ വിചാരിക്കാതെ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും അവൻ ദുർബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു; യഹോവ അവളോട് ക്ഷമിക്കും.
But if her husband forbids her in the day that he hears it, then he shall make void her vow which is on her, and the rash utterance of her lips, with which she has bound her soul: and YHWH will forgive her.
9 ൯ വിധവയോ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവളോ ചെയ്യുന്ന നേർച്ചയും പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും എല്ലാം അവളുടെമേൽ സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.
"But the vow of a widow, or of her who is divorced, everything with which she has bound her soul, shall stand against her.
"If she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath,
11 ൧൧ ഭർത്താവ് അതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ മിണ്ടാതെയും അവളെ വിലക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാൽ അവളുടെ നേർച്ചകളും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും എല്ലാം സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.
and her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and did not disallow her; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond with which she bound her soul shall stand.
12 ൧൨ എന്നാൽ ഭർത്താവ് കേട്ട നാളിൽ അവയെ ദുർബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തിയെങ്കിൽ നേർച്ചകളോ പരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതമോ സംബന്ധിച്ച് അവളുടെ നാവിൽനിന്ന് വീണതൊന്നും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കുകയില്ല; അവളുടെ ഭർത്താവ് അതിനെ ദുർബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ അവളോട് ക്ഷമിക്കും.
But if her husband made them null and void in the day that he heard them, then whatever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband has made them void; and YHWH will forgive her.
13 ൧൩ ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്യുവാനുള്ള ഏത് നേർച്ചയും പരിവർജ്ജനശപഥവും സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തുവാനോ ദുർബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തുവാനോ ഭർത്താവിന് അധികാരം ഉണ്ട്.
Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.
14 ൧൪ എന്നാൽ ഭർത്താവ് ഒരിക്കലും ഒന്നും മിണ്ടിയില്ലെങ്കിൽ അവൻ അവളുടെ എല്ലാനേർച്ചയും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച സകലപരിവർജ്ജനവ്രതവും സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു. കേട്ട നാളിൽ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കുകകൊണ്ട് അവൻ അവയെ സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
But if her husband says nothing to her from day to day, then he establishes all her vows, or all her bonds, which are on her: he has established them, because he says nothing to her on the day that he heard them.
But if he shall make them null and void after that he has heard them, then he shall bear her iniquity."
16 ൧൬ ഭാര്യാഭർത്താക്കന്മാർ തമ്മിലും അപ്പന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ കന്യകയായി പാർക്കുന്ന മകളും അപ്പനും തമ്മിലും പ്രമാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന് യഹോവ മോശെയോട് കല്പിച്ച ചട്ടങ്ങൾ ഇവ തന്നെ.
These are the statutes, which YHWH commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between a father and his daughter, being in her youth, in her father's house.
