ലൂക്കോസ് 8
1 ൧ അതിനുശേഷം യേശു ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലും പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും കൂടി സഞ്ചരിച്ചു. അവിടെ ദൈവരാജ്യം പ്രസംഗിക്കുകയും സുവിശേഷം അറിയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
It happened soon afterwards, that he went about through cities and villages, proclaiming and bringing the good news of the Kingdom of God. With him were the twelve,
2 ൨ അവനോടുകൂടെ പന്ത്രണ്ട് ശിഷ്യന്മാരും, അവൻ ദുരാത്മാക്കളെയും വ്യാധികളേയും നീക്കി സൌഖ്യം വരുത്തിയ ചില സ്ത്രീകളും, ഏഴ് ഭൂതങ്ങൾ വിട്ടുപോയ മഗ്ദലക്കാരത്തി മറിയയും
and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Maryam who was called Magdalitha, from whom seven demons had gone out;
3 ൩ ഹെരോദാവിന്റെ കാര്യവിചാരകനായ കൂസയുടെ ഭാര്യ യോഹന്നയും, ശൂശന്നയും തങ്ങളുടെ വസ്തുവകകൊണ്ടു അവർക്ക് ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്തു പോന്ന മറ്റുപല സ്ത്രീകളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
and Yokhan, the wife of Kuza, Herod' steward; Shushan; and many others; who provided for them from their possessions.
4 ൪ പിന്നെ വലിയൊരു പുരുഷാരവും, ഓരോ പട്ടണത്തിൽനിന്നു അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നവരും, ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂടിയപ്പോൾ അവൻ അവരോട് ഒരു ഉപമ പറഞ്ഞു: ഒരു കൃഷിക്കാരൻ വിത്ത് വിതയ്ക്കുവാൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
When a large crowd came together, and people from every city were coming to him, he spoke by a parable.
5 ൫ വിതയ്ക്കുമ്പോൾ ചിലത് വഴിയരികിൽ വീണു. ചിലത് മനുഷ്യർ ചവിട്ടുകയും, ചിലത് ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവജാതി തിന്നുകളകയും ചെയ്തു.
"The farmer went out to sow his seed. As he sowed, some fell along the road, and it was trampled under foot, and the birds of the sky devoured it.
Other seed fell on the rock, and as soon as it grew, it withered away, because it had no moisture.
Other fell amid the thorns, and the thorns grew with it, and choked it.
8 ൮ മറ്റു ചിലത് നല്ലനിലത്ത് വീണു. അത് മുളച്ചു നൂറുമേനി ഫലം കൊടുത്തു. ഇതു പറഞ്ഞിട്ട്: കേൾക്കുവാൻ ചെവി ഉള്ളവൻ കേൾക്കട്ടെ എന്നു വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.
Other fell into the good ground, and grew, and brought forth fruit one hundred times." As he said these things, he called out, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."
9 ൯ അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അവനോട് ഈ ഉപമയുടെ അർത്ഥം എന്താണ്? എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. അതിന് അവൻ മറുപടിയായി പറഞ്ഞത്:
Then his disciples asked him, "What does this parable mean?"
10 ൧൦ ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിന്റെ രഹസ്യങ്ങളെ അറിയുവാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് വരം ലഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; മറ്റുള്ളവർ കാണുന്നു എങ്കിലും അവർക്ക് ഒന്നും മനസ്സിലാകാതിരിക്കുവാനും, കേൾക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും ഒന്നും ഗ്രഹിക്കാതിരിപ്പാനും ഉപമകളിലൂടെ ആണ് ഞാൻ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.
He said, "To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, but to the rest in parables; that 'seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.'
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
12 ൧൨ വഴിയരികെയുള്ളവർ കേൾക്കുന്നവർ എങ്കിലും അവർ വിശ്വസിച്ചു രക്ഷിയ്ക്കപ്പെടാതിരിക്കുവാൻ പിശാച് വന്നു അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ നിന്നു വചനം എടുത്തുകളയുന്നു.
Those along the road are those who hear, then the devil comes, and takes away the word from their heart, that they may not believe and be saved.
13 ൧൩ പാറമേലുള്ളവരോ കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ വചനം സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവർ എങ്കിലും അവർക്ക് വേരില്ല; അവർ തല്ക്കാലം വിശ്വസിക്കയും പരീക്ഷാസമയത്ത് വിശ്വാസത്തിൽ നിന്നു മാറി പോവുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
Those on the rock are they who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; but these have no root, who believe for a while, then fall away in time of temptation.
14 ൧൪ മുള്ളിനിടയിൽ വീണതോ, വചനം കേൾക്കുന്നവർ എങ്കിലും, വിവിധ ചിന്തകളാലും, ധനത്താലും, ഈ ലോകത്തിലെ സന്തോഷങ്ങളാലും ഞെരുങ്ങി പൂർണ്ണമായി ഫലം കൊടുക്കാത്തവരത്രേ.
That which fell among the thorns, these are those who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.
15 ൧൫ നല്ല മണ്ണിലുള്ളതോ വചനം കേട്ടിട്ട്, ഹൃദയത്തിൽ സംഗ്രഹിക്കുകയും, ക്ഷമയോടെ ഗുണമുള്ള നല്ലഫലം കൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവർ തന്നേ.
That in the good ground, these are such as in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, hold it tightly, and bring forth fruit with patience.
16 ൧൬ വിളക്കു കത്തിച്ചിട്ട് ആരും അതിനെ പാത്രംകൊണ്ട് മൂടുകയോ കട്ടിലിന്റെ കീഴിൽ വെയ്ക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല. അകത്ത് വരുന്നവർക്ക് വെളിച്ചം കാണേണ്ടതിന് തണ്ടിന്മേൽആണ് വെയ്ക്കുന്നത്.
"No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a container, or puts it under a bed; but puts it on a stand, that those who enter in may see the light.
17 ൧൭ വെളിപ്പെടാതെ രഹസ്യമായിരിക്കുന്നതു ഒന്നുമില്ല; വെളിച്ചത്തു വരാതെ മറവായിരിക്കുന്നതും ഒന്നുമില്ല.
For nothing is hidden, that will not be revealed; nor anything secret, that will not be known and come to light.
18 ൧൮ ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ എങ്ങനെ കേൾക്കുന്നു എന്നു സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്ളുവിൻ, കാരണം ദൈവവചനം കേട്ടിട്ട് മനസ്സിലാകുന്നവനു കൂടുതൽ കിട്ടും; ഇല്ലാത്തവനോടോ ഉണ്ട് എന്നു തോന്നുന്നതും കൂടെ എടുത്തുകളയും.
So consider carefully how you listen. For whoever has, to him will be given; and whoever does not have, from him will be taken away even that which he thinks he has."
His mother and brothers came to him, and they could not come near him for the crowd.
20 ൨൦ അവനെ കാണുവാനായി അടുക്കൽ വന്നു. എന്നാൽ പുരുഷാരം കാരണം അവന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്ക് വരുവാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല. നിന്റെ അമ്മയും സഹോദരന്മാരും നിന്നെ കാണ്മാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് പുറത്തു നില്ക്കുന്നു എന്നു ചിലർ അവനോട് അറിയിച്ചു.
It was told him by some saying, "Your mother and your brothers stand outside, desiring to see you."
21 ൨൧ അവരോട് അവൻ: ദൈവവചനം കേട്ട് അനുസരിക്കുന്നവർ എല്ലാം എന്റെ അമ്മയും സഹോദരന്മാരും ആകുന്നു എന്ന് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
But he answered them, "My mother and my brothers are these who hear the word of God, and do it."
Now it happened on one of those days, that he entered into a boat, himself and his disciples, and he said to them, "Let us go over to the other side of the lake." So they launched out.
But as they sailed, he fell asleep. A wind storm came down on the lake, and they were taking on dangerous amounts of water.
24 ൨൪ തടാകത്തിൽ ഒരു ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റ് ഉണ്ടായി. പടകിൽ വെള്ളം നിറഞ്ഞു. അവർ പേടിച്ചു യേശുവിന്റെ അടുക്കെ ചെന്ന്: നാഥാ, നാഥാ, ഞങ്ങൾ മരിക്കാൻ പോകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ ഉണർത്തി; അവൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റ് കാറ്റിനേയും രൂക്ഷമായ തിരമാലകളേയും ശാസിച്ചു; അവ അമർന്നു ശാന്തത ഉണ്ടായി. പിന്നെ അവരോട്:
So they came to him, and awoke him, saying, "Master, master, we are dying." And he awoke, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and it was calm.
25 ൨൫ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം എവിടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവരോ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു: ഇവൻ ആർ? അവൻ കാറ്റിനോടും വെള്ളത്തോടും കല്പിക്കുകയും അവ അനുസരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടു.
He said to them, "Where is your faith?" But they were terrified and astonished, saying to one another, "Who is this, then, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?"
They arrived at the country of the Gerasenes, which is opposite Galila.
27 ൨൭ അവൻ കരയ്ക്ക് ഇറങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ വളരെ കാലമായി ഭൂതങ്ങൾ ബാധിച്ചൊരു മനുഷ്യൻ പട്ടണത്തിൽനിന്നു അവർക്ക് എതിരെ വന്നു. അവൻ വളരെക്കാലമായി വസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കാതെയും വീട്ടിൽ പാർക്കാതെയും ശവക്കല്ലറകളിൽ ആയിരുന്നു താമസിച്ചത്.
And when he came out onto the land he was met by a certain man from the town who had demons. For a long time he had worn no clothes, and did not live in a house, but in the tombs.
28 ൨൮ അവൻ യേശുവിനെ കണ്ടിട്ട് നിലവിളിച്ചു അവനെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു: യേശുവേ, മഹോന്നതനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പുത്രാ, നീ എന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ ഇടപെടുന്നത് എന്തിന്? എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കരുതേ എന്നു ഞാൻ അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഉറക്കെ പറഞ്ഞു.
When he saw Yeshua, he shouted, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, "What do I have to do with you, Yeshua, you Son of the Most High God? I beg you, do not torment me."
29 ൨൯ അവൻ അശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനോട് ആ മനുഷ്യനെ വിട്ടുപോകുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. അത് വളരെക്കാലമായി അവനെ ബാധിച്ചിരുന്നു; അവനെ ചങ്ങലയും വിലങ്ങും ഇട്ട് ബന്ധിച്ചു സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നിട്ടും അവൻ ബന്ധനങ്ങളെ തകർക്കുകയും ഭൂതം അവനെ കാടുകളിലേക്ക് ഓടിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.
For Yeshua was commanding the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For the unclean spirit had often seized the man. He was kept under guard, and bound with chains and fetters. Breaking the bands apart, he was driven by the demon into the desert.
30 ൩൦ യേശു അവനോട്: നിന്റെ പേർ എന്ത് എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. അനേകം ഭൂതങ്ങൾ അവനെ ബാധിച്ചിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട്; ലെഗ്യോൻ എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
Yeshua asked him, "What is your name?" He said, "Legion," for many demons had entered into him.
They pleaded with him that he would not command them to go into the abyss. (Abyssos g12)
32 ൩൨ അവിടെ മലയിൽ വലിയൊരു പന്നിക്കൂട്ടം മേഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. അവയിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുവാൻ അനുവാദം തരേണം എന്നു അവനോട് അപേക്ഷിച്ചു; അവൻ അനുവാദം കൊടുത്തു.
Now there was there a herd of many pigs feeding on the mountain, and they begged him that he would allow them to enter into those. He allowed them.
33 ൩൩ ഭൂതങ്ങൾ ആ മനുഷ്യനെ വിട്ടു പന്നികളിൽ കടന്നപ്പോൾ പന്നിക്കൂട്ടം വളരെ വേഗം തടാകത്തിലേക്ക് പാഞ്ഞു വീർപ്പുമുട്ടി ചത്തു.
The demons came out from the man, and entered into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake, and were drowned.
When those who fed them saw what had happened, they fled, and told it in the city and in the country.
35 ൩൫ അവിടെ സംഭവിച്ചത് കാണ്മാൻ അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ടു യേശുവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു, ഭൂതങ്ങൾ വിട്ടുപോയ മനുഷ്യൻ വസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചും നല്ല ബോധത്തോടെയും യേശുവിന്റെ കാല്ക്കൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നത് കണ്ട് ഭയപ്പെട്ടു.
Then people went out to see what had happened. They came to Yeshua, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Yeshua's feet, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
Those who saw it told them how he who had been possessed by demons was healed.
37 ൩൭ ഗെരസേന്യദേശത്തിലെ ജനസമൂഹം എല്ലാം ഭയപരവശരായി തങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുപോകേണം എന്നു അവനോട് അപേക്ഷിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ അവൻ പടകുകയറി മടങ്ങിപ്പോന്നു.
All the people of the surrounding region of the Geresenes asked him to leave them, for they were very much afraid; and he entered into the boat and returned.
But the man from whom the demons had gone out begged him that he might go with him, but Yeshua sent him away, saying,
39 ൩൯ അതിന് അവൻ: നീ വീട്ടിൽ മടങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു ദൈവം നിനക്ക് ചെയ്തതു ഒക്കെയും അറിയിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ അയച്ചു. അവൻ പോയി യേശു തനിക്കു ചെയ്തതു ഒക്കെയും പട്ടണത്തിൽ എല്ലാടവും അറിയിച്ചു.
"Return to your house, and declare what great things God has done for you." He went his way, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Yeshua had done for him.
40 ൪൦ യേശു മടങ്ങിവന്നപ്പോൾ പുരുഷാരം അവനെ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ സ്വീകരിച്ചു; അവർ എല്ലാവരും യേശുവിനായി കാത്തിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
When Yeshua returned, the crowd welcomed him, for they were all waiting for him.
And look, there came a man named Yuarash, and he was a ruler of the synagogue. He fell down at Yeshua's feet, and pleaded with him to come into his house,
42 ൪൨ അവന് ഏകദേശം പന്ത്രണ്ട് വയസ്സുള്ള ഏകജാതയായൊരു മകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൾ മരിക്കാറായതു കൊണ്ട് തന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ വരേണം എന്നു അവനോട് അപേക്ഷിച്ചു; അവൻ പോകുമ്പോൾ പുരുഷാരം അവനെ ഞെരുക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
for he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she was dying. But as he went, the crowds pressed against him.
43 ൪൩ അന്ന് പന്ത്രണ്ട് വർഷമായി രക്തസ്രവമുള്ള ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവൾ തന്റെ പണം എല്ലാം വൈദ്യന്മാർക്ക് കൊടുത്തിട്ടും ആർക്കും സൌഖ്യം വരുത്തുവാൻ സാധിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല
A woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years (who had spent all her living on physicians) and could not be healed by any,
44 ൪൪ അവൾ യേശുവിന്റെ പുറകിൽ അടുത്തുചെന്ന് അവന്റെ വസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ അറ്റത്ത് തൊട്ടു ഉടനെ അവളുടെ രക്തസ്രവം നിന്നു.
came behind him, and touched the fringe of his garment, and immediately the flow of her blood stopped.
45 ൪൫ എന്നെ തൊട്ടത് ആർ എന്നു യേശു ചോദിച്ചു. എല്ലാവരും ഞാനല്ല, ഞാനല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ: ഗുരോ, പുരുഷാരം നിന്നെ തിക്കിത്തിരക്കുന്നു എന്നു പത്രൊസും കൂടെയുള്ളവരും പറഞ്ഞു.
Yeshua said, "Who touched me?" When all denied it, Kipha and those with him said, "Master, the crowds press and jostle you."
But Yeshua said, "Someone did touch me, for I perceived that power has gone out of me."
47 ൪൭ താൻ മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നു സ്ത്രീ കണ്ട് വിറച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു വന്നു അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വീണു, അവനെ തൊട്ട സംഗതിയും തൽക്ഷണം സൌഖ്യമായതും സകലജനവും കേൾക്കെ അറിയിച്ചു.
When the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him declared to him in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace."
49 ൪൯ അവൻ സംസാരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ പള്ളിപ്രമാണിയുടെ വീട്ടിൽനിന്നു ഒരാൾ വന്നു: നിന്റെ മകൾ മരിച്ചുപോയി; ഗുരുവിനെ പ്രയാസപ്പെടുത്തേണ്ടാ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
While he still spoke, one from the ruler of the synagogue's house came, saying to him, "Your daughter is dead. Do not trouble the Teacher."
50 ൫൦ യേശു അതുകേട്ടപ്പോൾ: ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ, വിശ്വസിച്ചാൽ മതി എന്നാൽ അവൾ രക്ഷപെടും എന്നു അവനോട് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
But Yeshua hearing it, answered him, "Do not be afraid. Only believe, and she will be healed."
51 ൫൧ വീട്ടിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ പത്രൊസ്, യോഹന്നാൻ, യാക്കോബ് എന്നിവരെയും കുട്ടിയുടെ അപ്പനെയും അമ്മയെയും അല്ലാതെ ആരെയും അവൻ തന്നോടുകൂടെ അകത്ത് വരുവാൻ സമ്മതിച്ചില്ല.
When he came to the house, he did not allow anyone to enter in with him, except Kipha, Yukhanan, Yaquv, the father of the child, and her mother.
52 ൫൨ എല്ലാവരും അവളെ ഓർത്തു കരയുകയും, ഉച്ചത്തിൽ നിലവിളിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ: കരയണ്ട, അവൾ മരിച്ചില്ല, ഉറങ്ങുകയാണ് എന്ന് അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
All were weeping and mourning her, but he said, "Do not weep. She is not dead, but sleeping."
They were ridiculing him, knowing that she was dead.
But he, taking her by the hand, called, saying, "Child, arise."
55 ൫൫ അവളുടെ ആത്മാവ് തിരിച്ചുവന്നു, അവൾ ഉടനെ എഴുന്നേറ്റ്; അവൾക്ക് ഭക്ഷണം കൊടുക്കുവിൻ എന്നു അവൻ കല്പിച്ചു.
Her spirit returned, and she rose up immediately. He commanded that something be given to her to eat.
Her parents were amazed, but he commanded them to tell no one what had been done.
