യോശുവ 13
1 ൧ യോശുവ വൃദ്ധനായപ്പോൾ യഹോവ അവനോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു: “നീ വൃദ്ധനായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇനി വളരെ ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കുവാനുണ്ട്.
And Joshua [was] old and very advanced in years; and the Lord said to Joshua, You are advanced in years, and there is much land left to inherit.
2 ൨ ഇനിയും കൈവശമാക്കാനുള്ള ദേശങ്ങൾ: ഈജിപ്റ്റിന്റെ കിഴക്കുള്ള സീഹോർമുതൽ വടക്കോട്ട് കനാന്യർക്കുള്ളതെന്ന് എണ്ണിവരുന്ന എക്രോന്റെ അതിർവരെയുള്ള ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശവും ഗെശൂര്യരുടെ ദേശവും;
And this [is] the land that is left: the borders of the Phylistines, the Gesirite, and the Chananite,
3 ൩ ഫെലിസ്ത്യ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ ഭരിച്ചിരുന്ന ഗസ്സ, അസ്തോദ്, അസ്കലോൻ, ഗത്ത്, എക്രോൻ എന്നീ അഞ്ച് ദേശങ്ങളും;
from the wilderness before Egypt, as far as the borders of Accaron on the left of the Chananites [the land] is reckoned to the five principalities of the Phylistines, to the inhabitant of Gaza, and of Azotus, and of Ascalon, and of Geth, and of Accaron, and to the Evite;
from Thaeman even to all the land of Chanaan before Gaza, and the Sidonians as far as Aphec, as far as the borders of the Amorites.
5 ൫ സീദോന്യരുടെ മെയാരയും ഗെബാല്യയരുടെ ദേശവും കിഴക്ക് ഹെർമ്മോൻ പർവ്വതത്തിന്റെ അടിവാരത്തിലെ ബാൽ-ഗാദ് മുതൽ ഹമാത്തിലേക്കു തിരിയുന്ന സ്ഥലംവരെയുള്ള ലെബാനോൻ പ്രദേശവും;
And all the land of Galiath of the Phylistines, and all Libanus eastward from Galgal, under the mountain Aermon as far as the entering in of Emath;
6 ൬ ലെബാനോൻ മുതൽ മിസ്രെഫോത്ത്മയീം വരെയുള്ള പർവ്വത പ്രദേശങ്ങളും സീദോന്യരുടെ ദേശവും തന്നേ; ഇവരെ ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളുടെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും; ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ നീ യിസ്രായേലിന് അത് അവകാശമായി വിഭാഗിച്ചാൽ മതി.
every one that inhabits the hill country from Libanus as far as Masereth Memphomaim. All the Sidonians, I will destroy them from before Israel; but do you give them by inheritance to Israel, as I charged you.
And now divide this land by lot to the nine tribes, and to the half tribe of Manasse.
8 ൮ രൂബേന്യരും ഗാദ്യരും മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രവും മോശെ അവർക്ക് യോർദ്ദാനക്കരെ കിഴക്ക് കൊടുത്തിട്ടുള്ള അവകാശം പ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
From Jordan to the great sea westward you shall give it [them]: the great sea shall be the boundary. [But] to the two tribes and to the half tribe of Manasse, to Ruben and to Gad Moses gave [an inheritance] beyond Jordan: Moses the servant of the Lord gave [it] to them eastward,
9 ൯ അർന്നോൻതാഴ്‌വരയുടെ അറ്റത്തുള്ള അരോവേരും, താഴ്‌വരയുടെ നടുവിലുള്ള പട്ടണം മുതൽ ദീബോൻവരെയുള്ള മെദേബാ സമഭൂമിയും;
from Aroer, which is on the bank of the brook of Arnon, and the city in the midst of the valley, and all Misor from Maedaban.
All the cities of Seon king of the Amorites, who reigned from Esebon to the coasts of the children of Ammon;
11 ൧൧ ഗിലെയാദും ഗെശൂര്യരുടെയും മയഖാത്യരുടെയും ദേശവും ഹെർമ്മോൻപർവ്വത പ്രദേശവും സൽക്കാവരെയുള്ള ബാശാൻ ദേശവും
and the region of Galaad, and the borders of the Gesirites and the Machatites, the whole mount of Aermon, and all the land of Basan to Acha.
12 ൧൨ അസ്തരോത്തിലും എദ്രെയിലും വാണവനും മല്ലന്മാരിൽ ശേഷിച്ചവനുമായ ബാശാനിലെ ഓഗിന്റെ രാജ്യവും”. ഈ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലുള്ള ജനത്തെ മോശെ തോല്പിച്ച് നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.
All the kingdom of Og in the region of Basan, who reigned in Astaroth and in Edrain: he was left of the giants; and Moses struck him, and destroyed him.
13 ൧൩ എന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾ ഗെശൂര്യരെയും മയഖാത്യരെയും നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞില്ല; അവർ ഇന്നുവരെയും യിസ്രായേല്യരുടെ ഇടയിൽ പാർത്തു വരുന്നു.
But the children of Israel destroyed not the Gesirite and the Machatite and the Chananite; and the king of the Gesiri and the Machatite lived among the children of Israel until this day.
14 ൧൪ ലേവിഗോത്രത്തിന് അവൻ ഒരു അവകാശവും കൊടുത്തില്ല; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ദഹനയാഗങ്ങൾ താൻ മോശയോട് കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവരുടെ അവകാശം ആകുന്നു.
Only no inheritance was given to the tribe of Levi: the Lord God of Israel, he [is] their inheritance, as the Lord said to them; and this [is] the division which Moses made to the children of Israel in Araboth Moab, on the other side of Jordan, by Jericho.
And Moses gave the land to the tribe of Ruben according to their families.
16 ൧൬ അവരുടെ ദേശം അർന്നോൻതാഴ്‌വരയുടെ അറ്റത്തെ അരോവേരും താഴ്‌വരയുടെ നടുവിലെ പട്ടണം മുതൽ മെദേബയോട് ചേർന്ന സമഭൂമി മുഴുവനും ഹെശ്ബോനും സമഭൂമിയിലുള്ള
And their borders were from Aroer, which is opposite the brook of Arnon, and [theirs is] the city that is in the valley of Arnon; and all Misor,
to Esebon, and all the cities in Misor, and Daebon, and Baemon-Baal, and the house of Meelboth;
and Basan, and Bakedmoth, and Maephaad,
and Kariathaim, and Sebama, and Serada, and Sion in mount Enab;
and Baethphogor, and Asedoth Phasga, and Baetthasinoth,
21 ൨൧ സമഭൂമിയിലെ എല്ലാ പട്ടണങ്ങളും ഹെശ്ബോനിൽ വാണിരുന്ന അമോര്യ രാജാവായ സീഹോന്റെ രാജ്യവും തന്നെ; അവനെയും ദേശത്ത് പാർത്തിരുന്ന ഏവി, രേക്കെം, സൂർ, ഹൂർ, രേബ എന്നീ മിദ്യാന്യപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും മോശെ സംഹരിച്ചു.
and all the cities of Misor, and all the kingdom of Seon king of the Amorites, whom Moses struck, even him and the princes of Madian, and Evi, and Roboc, and Sur, and Ur, and Robe prince of the spoils of Sion, and the inhabitants of Sion.
22 ൨൨ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾ കൊന്നവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ബെയോരിന്റെ മകനായ ബിലെയാം എന്ന പ്രശ്നക്കാരനെയും വാൾകൊണ്ട് കൊന്നു.
And Balaam the son of Baeor the prophet they killed in the battle.
23 ൨൩ രൂബേന്യരുടെ അതിർ യോർദ്ദാൻ നദി ആയിരുന്നു; ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളുൾപ്പെടെ രൂബേന്യർക്ക് കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി കിട്ടിയ അവകാശം ആകുന്നു.
And the borders of Ruben were—[even] Jordan [was the] boundary; this [is] the inheritance of the children of Ruben according to their families, [these were] their cities and their villages.
And Moses gave inheritance to the sons of Gad according to their families.
25 ൨൫ അവരുടെ ദേശം യസേരും ഗിലെയാദിലെ എല്ലാ പട്ടണങ്ങളും രബ്ബയുടെ കിഴക്കുള്ള അരോവേർവരെ അമ്മോന്യരുടെ ദേശത്തിന്റെ പകുതിയും ആകുന്നു;
And their borders were Jazer, all the cities of Galaad, and half the land of the children of Ammon to Araba, which is before Arad.
And from Esebon to Araboth by Massepha, and Botanim, and Maan to the borders of Daebon,
27 ൨൭ താഴ്‌വരയിൽ ഹെശ്ബോൻ രാജാവായ സീഹോന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിൽ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ള ബേത്ത്-ഹാരാം, ബേത്ത്-നിമ്രാം, സുക്കോത്ത്, സാഫോൻ എന്നിവയും യോർദ്ദാന് കിഴക്ക് കിന്നേരെത്ത് തടാകത്തിന്റെ അറുതിവരെയും അവരുടെ അതിരായിരുന്നു.
and Enadom, and Othargai, and Baenthanabra, and Soccotha, and Saphan, and the rest of the kingdom of Sean king of Esebon: and Jordan shall be the boundary as far as part of the sea of Chenereth beyond Jordan eastward.
This [is] the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families and according to their cities: according to their families they will turn their backs before their enemies, because their cities and their villages were according to their families.
And Moses gave to half the tribe of Manasse according to their families.
30 ൩൦ മഹനയീം മുതൽ ബാശാൻവരെയും ബാശാൻരാജാവായ ഓഗിന്റെ രാജ്യവും ബാശാനിൽ യായീരിന്റെ ഊരുകൾ എല്ലാംകൂടെ അറുപതു പട്ടണങ്ങളും
And their borders were from Maan, and all the kingdom of Basan, and all the kingdom of Og king of Basan, and all the villages of Jair, which are in the region of Basan, sixty cities:
31 ൩൧ ഗിലെയാദിന്റെ പകുതിയും ബാശാനിലെ ഓഗിന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളായ അസ്തരോത്ത്, എദ്രെയി എന്നിവയും തന്നേ; ഇവ മനശ്ശെയുടെ മകനായ മാഖീരിന്റെ മക്കളിൽ പാതിപ്പേർക്ക്, കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി കിട്ടി.
and the half of Galaad, and in Astaroth, and in Edrain, royal cities of Og in the land of Basan, [Moses gave] to the sons of Machir the sons of Manasse, even to the half-tribe sons of Machir the sons of Manasse, according to their families.
32 ൩൨ മോവാബ് സമതലത്തിൽ വച്ച് യോർദാനക്കരെ യെരിഹോവിനു കിഴക്കുവശത്തുള്ള ദേശം മോശെ ഭാഗിച്ചുകൊടുത്തത് ഇപ്രകാരം ആകുന്നു.
These [are] they whom Moses caused to inherit beyond Jordan in Araboth Moab, beyond Jordan by Jericho eastward.
33 ൩൩ ലേവിഗോത്രത്തിന് മോശെ ഒരു അവകാശവും കൊടുത്തില്ല; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരോട് കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ താൻ തന്നേ അവരുടെ അവകാശം ആകുന്നു.
