ഇയ്യോബ് 13

1 ൧ എന്റെ കണ്ണ് ഇതെല്ലാം കണ്ടു; എന്റെ ചെവി അത് കേട്ട് ഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

"Look, my eye has seen all this. My ear has heard and understood it.

2 ൨ നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നത് ഞാനും അറിയുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളേക്കാൾ ഒട്ടും കുറഞ്ഞവനല്ല.

What you know, I know also. I am not inferior to you.

3 ൩ സർവ്വശക്തനായ ദൈവത്തോട് ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കുവാൻ ഭാവിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവത്തോട് വാദിക്കുവാൻ ഞാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.

"Surely I would speak to Shaddai. I desire to reason with God.

4 ൪ നിങ്ങൾ വ്യാജത്തെ സത്യംകൊണ്ട് വെള്ള പൂശുന്നവർ; നിങ്ങളെല്ലാവരും മുറിവൈദ്യന്മാർ തന്നെ.

But you are forgers of lies. You are all physicians of no value.

5 ൫ നിങ്ങൾ ഒന്നും മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നാൽ കൊള്ളാം; അത് നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ജ്ഞാനമായിരിക്കും.

Oh that you would be completely silent. Then you would be wise.

6 ൬ എന്റെ ന്യായവാദം കേട്ടുകൊൾവിൻ; എന്റെ അധരങ്ങളുടെ വ്യവഹാരം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുവിൻ.

Hear now my reasoning. Listen to the pleadings of my lips.

7 ൭ നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിനുവേണ്ടി നീതികേട് സംസാരിക്കുന്നുവോ? നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിനുവേണ്ടി വ്യാജം പറയുന്നുവോ?

Will you speak unrighteously for God, and talk deceitfully for him?

8 ൮ അവിടുത്തെ പക്ഷം പിടിക്കുന്നുവോ? ദൈവത്തിനുവേണ്ടി വാദിക്കുന്നുവോ?

Will you show partiality to him? Will you contend for God?

9 ൯ അവിടുന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ പരിശോധിച്ചാൽ എന്തെങ്കിലും നന്മ കാണുമോ? മർത്യനെ തോല്പിക്കുമ്പോലെ നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തെ തോല്പിക്കുമോ?

Is it good that he should search you out? Or as one deceives a man, will you deceive him?

10 ൧൦ ഗൂഢമായി പക്ഷപാതം കാണിച്ചാൽ അവിടുന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ ശാസിക്കും നിശ്ചയം.

He will surely reprove you if you secretly show partiality.

11 ൧൧ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹിമ നിങ്ങളെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുകയില്ലയോ? ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഭീതി നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ വീഴുകയില്ലയോ?

Shall not his majesty make you afraid, And his dread fall on you?

12 ൧൨ നിങ്ങളുടെ ജ്ഞാപകവാക്യങ്ങൾ ചാരമായ പഴമൊഴികളാണ്; നിങ്ങളുടെ കോട്ടകൾ മൺകോട്ടകൾ തന്നേ.

Your memorable sayings are proverbs of ashes, Your defenses are defenses of clay.

13 ൧൩ നിങ്ങൾ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കുവിൻ; ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞുകൊള്ളട്ടെ; പിന്നെ എനിയ്ക്ക് വരുന്നത് വരട്ടെ.

"Be silent, leave me alone, that I may speak. Let come on me what will.

14 ൧൪ ഞാൻ എന്റെ മാംസത്തെ പല്ലുകൊണ്ട് കടിച്ചുപിടിക്കുന്നതും എന്റെ ജീവനെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുകളയുന്നതും എന്തിന്?

Why should I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in my hand?

15 ൧൫ അങ്ങ് എന്നെ കൊന്നാലും ഞാൻ അങ്ങയെത്തന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കും; ഞാൻ എന്റെ നടപ്പ് അങ്ങയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ തെളിയിക്കും.

Look, he will kill me. I have no hope. Nevertheless, I will maintain my ways before him.

16 ൧൬ വഷളൻ അങ്ങയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വരുകയില്ല എന്നുള്ളത് തന്നെ എനിക്കൊരു രക്ഷയാകും.

This also shall be my salvation, that a godless man shall not come before him.

17 ൧൭ എന്റെ വാക്ക് ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ കേൾക്കുവിൻ; ഞാൻ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നത് നിങ്ങളുടെ ചെവിയിൽ കടക്കട്ടെ;

Hear diligently my speech. Let my declaration be in your ears.

18 ൧൮ ഇതാ, ഞാൻ എന്റെ ന്യായങ്ങളെ ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞാൻ നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടും എന്ന് ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു.

See now, I have set my cause in order. I know that I am righteous.

19 ൧൯ എന്നോട് വാദിക്കുവാൻ തുനിയുന്നതാര്? ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ മിണ്ടാതിരുന്ന് എന്റെ പ്രാണൻ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കാം.

Who is he who will contend with me? For then would I hold my peace and give up the spirit.

20 ൨൦ രണ്ടു കാര്യം മാത്രം എന്നോട് ചെയ്യരുതേ; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ അങ്ങയുടെ സന്നിധി വിട്ട് ഒളിക്കുകയില്ല.

"Only do not do two things to me; then I will not hide myself from your face:

21 ൨൧ അങ്ങയുടെ കൈ എന്നിൽനിന്ന് പിൻവലിക്കണമേ; അങ്ങയുടെ ഭയങ്കരത്വം എന്നെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിക്കരുതേ.

withdraw your hand far from me; and do not let your terror make me afraid.

22 ൨൨ പിന്നെ അവിടുന്ന് വിളിച്ചാലും; ഞാൻ ഉത്തരം പറയും; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കാം; അവിടുന്ന് ഉത്തരം അരുളേണമേ.

Then call, and I will answer; or let me speak, and you answer me.

23 ൨൩ എന്റെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളും പാപങ്ങളും എത്ര? എന്റെ അതിക്രമവും പാപവും എന്നെ ഗ്രഹിപ്പിക്കണമേ.

How many are my iniquities and sins? Make me know my disobedience and my sin.

24 ൨൪ തിരുമുഖം മറച്ചുകൊള്ളുന്നതും എന്നെ ശത്രുവായി വിചാരിക്കുന്നതും എന്തിന്?

Why hide you your face, and hold me for your enemy?

25 ൨൫ പാറിപ്പോകുന്ന ഇലയെ അങ്ങ് പേടിപ്പിക്കുമോ? ഉണങ്ങിയ പതിരിനെ പിന്തുടരുമോ?

Will you harass a driven leaf? Will you pursue the dry stubble?

26 ൨൬ കയ്പായുള്ളത് അവിടുന്ന് എനിയ്ക്ക് എഴുതിവച്ച് എന്റെ യൗവ്വനത്തിലെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അനുഭവിക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു.

For you write bitter things against me, and make me inherit the iniquities of my youth:

27 ൨൭ എന്റെ കാൽ അങ്ങ് ആമത്തിൽ ഇട്ടു; എന്റെ നടപ്പൊക്കെയും കുറിച്ചുവെക്കുന്നു. എന്റെ കാലടികളുടെ ചുറ്റും വര വരയ്ക്കുന്നു.

You also put my feet in the stocks, and mark all my paths. You set a bound to the soles of my feet,

28 ൨൮ ഞാൻ ചീഞ്ഞഴുകിയ വസ്ത്രംപോലെയും പുഴു അരിച്ച വസ്ത്രംപോലെയും ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

though I am decaying like a rotten thing, like a garment that is moth-eaten.
