യെശയ്യാവ് 65
1 ൧ “എന്നെ ആഗ്രഹിക്കാത്തവർ എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കുവാൻ ഇടയായി; എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കാത്തവർക്ക് എന്നെ കണ്ടെത്തുവാൻ സംഗതിവന്നു; എന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കാത്ത ജനതയോട്: ‘ഇതാ ഞാൻ, ഇതാ ഞാൻ’ എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
I allowed myself to be sought by those that asked not; I let myself be found by those that sought me not: I said, Here am I, here am I, unto a nation that called itself not by my name.
2 ൨ സ്വന്ത വിചാരങ്ങളെ അനുസരിച്ച് ആകാത്ത വഴിയിൽ നടക്കുന്ന മത്സരമുള്ള ജനത്തിങ്കലേക്ക് ഞാൻ ഇടവിടാതെ കൈ നീട്ടുന്നു.
I spread out my hands all the time unto a rebellious people, that walk in the way which is not good, after their own thoughts;
3 ൩ അവർ എന്റെ മുഖത്തു നോക്കി എല്ലായ്പോഴും എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ജനമായി തോട്ടങ്ങളിൽ ബലി കഴിക്കുകയും ഇഷ്ടികമേൽ ധൂപം കാണിക്കുകയും
[To] the people that provoke me to anger to my face continually; that sacrifice in gardens and burn incense upon [altars of] brick,
4 ൪ കല്ലറകളിൽ കുത്തിയിരിക്കുകയും ഗുഹകളിൽ രാത്രി പാർക്കുകയും പന്നിയിറച്ചി തിന്നുകയും പാത്രങ്ങളിൽ അറപ്പായ ചാറു നിറയ്ക്കുകയും ‘മാറി നില്ക്ക; ഇങ്ങോട്ട് അടുക്കരുത്;
That sit about among the graves, and lodge in the vaults, that eat the flesh of the swine, and [have] broth of abominations [in] their vessels;
5 ൫ ഞാൻ നിന്നെക്കാൾ ശുദ്ധൻ’ എന്നു പറയുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; അവർ എന്റെ മൂക്കിൽ പുകയും ഇടവിടാതെ കത്തുന്ന തീയും ആകുന്നു.
That say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the time.
6 ൬ അത് എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ എഴുതിവച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ പകരം വീട്ടിയിട്ടല്ലാതെ അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുകയില്ല; അവരുടെ മാർവ്വിടത്തിലേക്ക് തന്നെ ഞാൻ പകരംവീട്ടും.
Behold, it is written before me; I will not keep silence, till I have recompensed, yea, recompensed into their bosom.—
7 ൭ നിങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾക്കും മലകളിന്മേൽ ധൂപം കാട്ടുകയും കുന്നുകളിന്മേൽ എന്നെ ദുഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾക്കും കൂടെ പകരംവീട്ടും; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ മുൻകാലപ്രവൃത്തികളെ അവരുടെ മാർവ്വിടത്തിലേക്ക് അളന്നുകൊടുക്കും” എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the Lord, who have burnt incense upon the mountains, and upon the hills have blasphemed me: and I will measure out their work at first into their bosom.
8 ൮ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “മുന്തിരിക്കുലയിൽ പുതുവീഞ്ഞ് കണ്ടിട്ട്; ‘നശിപ്പിക്കരുത്; ഒരനുഗ്രഹം അതിൽ ഉണ്ട്’ എന്നു പറയുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദാസന്മാർനിമിത്തം പ്രവർത്തിക്കും; എല്ലാവരെയും നശിപ്പിക്കുകയില്ല.
Thus hath said the Lord, As the new wine is found in the cluster of grapes, and one saith, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it; so will I do for the sake of my servants, that I will not destroy the whole;
9 ൯ ഞാൻ യാക്കോബിൽനിന്ന് ഒരു സന്തതിയെയും യെഹൂദയിൽനിന്ന് എന്റെ പർവ്വതങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരു അവകാശിയെയും ഉത്ഭവിപ്പിക്കും; എന്റെ വൃതന്മാർ അതിനെ കൈവശമാക്കുകയും എന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ അവിടെ വസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
And I let come forth out of Jacob a seed, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains; and my elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
10 ൧൦ എന്നെ അന്വേഷിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള എന്റെ ജനത്തിനായി ശാരോൻ ആടുകൾക്കു മേച്ചിൽപുറവും ആഖോർ താഴ്‌വര കന്നുകാലികൾക്കു കിടപ്പിടവും ആയിരിക്കും.
And Sharon shall become a fold of flocks, and the valley of 'Achor a resting-place for herds, for my people that have sought me.
11 ൧൧ എന്നാൽ യഹോവയെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുകയും എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർവ്വതത്തെ മറക്കുകയും ഗാദ് ദേവന് ഒരു മേശ ഒരുക്കി മെനിദേവിക്കു വീഞ്ഞു കലർത്തി നിറച്ചുവയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരേ,
But ye who forsake the Lord, who forget my holy mountain, that set out a table for the god of Fortune, and that fill for Destiny the drink-offering.—
12 ൧൨ ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ ഉത്തരം പറയാതെയും ഞാൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ കേൾക്കാതെയും എനിക്ക് അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു പ്രവർത്തിച്ച് എനിക്ക് പ്രസാദമല്ലാത്തതു തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ വാളിനു നിയമിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും കൊലയ്ക്ക് കുനിയേണ്ടിവരും”.
Yea, I will destine you to the sword, and all of you shall kneel down to the slaughter; because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spoke, ye did not hear; but ye did what is evil in my eyes, and that wherein I had no delight did ye choose.
13 ൧൩ അതുകൊണ്ട് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഇതാ, എന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ ഭക്ഷിക്കും; നിങ്ങളോ വിശന്നിരിക്കും; എന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ പാനംചെയ്യും; നിങ്ങളോ ദാഹിച്ചിരിക്കും; എന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ സന്തോഷിക്കും; നിങ്ങളോ ലജ്ജിച്ചിരിക്കും.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry; behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty; behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be made ashamed;
14 ൧൪ എന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ ഹൃദയാനന്ദംകൊണ്ടു ഘോഷിക്കും; നിങ്ങളോ മനോവ്യസനംകൊണ്ടു നിലവിളിച്ചു മനോവ്യഥയാൽ അലമുറയിടും.
Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry out from pain of heart, and from a broken spirit shall ye howl;
15 ൧൫ നിങ്ങളുടെ പേര് നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ വൃതന്മാർക്ക് ഒരു ശാപവാക്കായി വെച്ചേച്ചുപോകും; യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് നിന്നെ കൊന്നുകളയും; തന്റെ ദാസന്മാർക്ക് അവിടുന്ന് വേറൊരു പേര് വിളിക്കും.
And ye shall leave behind your name for an oath unto my elect ones, when the Lord Eternal will slay thee; but his servants will he call by another name.
16 ൧൬ മുമ്പിലത്തെ കഷ്ടങ്ങൾ മറന്നുപോവുകയും അവ എന്റെ കണ്ണിന് മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്കകൊണ്ടു ഭൂമിയിൽ സ്വയം അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവൻ സത്യദൈവത്താൽ സ്വയം അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; ഭൂമിയിൽ സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ സത്യദൈവത്തെച്ചൊല്ലി സത്യം ചെയ്യും.
Whoever there be that blesseth himself on the earth shall bless himself by the true God; and that sweareth on the earth shall swear by the true God; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from my eyes.
17 ൧൭ “ഇതാ, ഞാൻ പുതിയ ആകാശവും പുതിയ ഭൂമിയും സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു; മുമ്പിലത്തേവ ആരും ഓർക്കുകയില്ല; ആരുടെയും മനസ്സിൽ വരുകയുമില്ല.
For, behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind;
18 ൧൮ ഞാൻ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് നിങ്ങൾ സന്തോഷിച്ച് എന്നേക്കും ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കുവിൻ; ഇതാ, ഞാൻ യെരൂശലേമിനെ ഉല്ലാസപ്രദമായും അതിലെ ജനത്തെ ആനന്ദപ്രദമായും സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു.
But be ye glad and rejoice unto all eternity in what I create; for, behold, I will create Jerusalem for rejoicing, and her people for gladness.
19 ൧൯ ഞാൻ യെരൂശലേമിനെക്കുറിച്ചു സന്തോഷിക്കുകയും എന്റെ ജനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ആനന്ദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും; കരച്ചിലും നിലവിളിയും ഇനി അതിൽ കേൾക്കുകയില്ല;
And I will rejoice over Jerusalem, and be glad in my people: and there shall not be heard in her any more the voice of weeping, nor the voice of complaint.
20 ൨൦ കുറെ ദിവസം മാത്രം ജീവിക്കുന്ന കുട്ടിയും ആയുസ്സു തികയാത്ത വൃദ്ധനും അവിടെ ഇനി ഉണ്ടാവുകയില്ല; ബാലൻ നൂറു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ളവനായി മരിക്കും; പാപിയോ നൂറു വയസ്സുള്ളവനായിരുന്നാലും ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ എന്നേ വരൂ.
There shall no more come thence an infant of few days, nor an old man that shall not have the full length of his days; for as a lad shall one die a hundred years old; and as a sinner shall be accursed he who [dieth] at a hundred years old.
And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.
22 ൨൨ അവർ പണിയുക, മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ വസിക്കുക എന്നു വരുകയില്ല; അവർ നടുക, മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ തിന്നുക എന്നും വരുകയില്ല; എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ആയുസ്സു വൃക്ഷത്തിന്റെ ആയുസ്സുപോലെ ആകും; എന്റെ വൃതന്മാർതന്നെ അവരുടെ അദ്ധ്വാനഫലം അനുഭവിക്കും.
They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat; for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and the work of their hands shall my elect wear out.
23 ൨൩ അവർ വെറുതെ അദ്ധ്വാനിക്കുകയില്ല; ആപത്തിനായിട്ടു പ്രസവിക്കുകയുമില്ല; അവർ യഹോവയാൽ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ സന്തതിയല്ലയോ; അവരുടെ സന്താനം അവരോടുകൂടി ഇരിക്കും.
They shall not toil in vain, nor bring forth unto an early death; for the seed of the blessed of the Lord are they, and their offspring with them.
24 ൨൪ അവർ വിളിക്കുന്നതിനുമുമ്പ് ഞാൻ ഉത്തരം അരുളും; അവർ സംസാരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾതന്നെ ഞാൻ കേൾക്കും.
And it shall come to pass, that before yet they call will I answer; and while they are still speaking will I hear.
25 ൨൫ ചെന്നായും കുഞ്ഞാടും ഒരുമിച്ചു മേയും; സിംഹം കാള എന്നപോലെ വയ്ക്കോൽ തിന്നും; സർപ്പത്തിനു പൊടി ആഹാരമായിരിക്കും; എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർവ്വതത്തിൽ എങ്ങും ഒരു ദോഷമോ നാശമോ ആരും ചെയ്യുകയില്ല” എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall like the bullock eat straw: and the serpent—dust shall be his food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.
