< Lioka 22 >

1 Ie fa antitotse ty Sabadida-Mofo-tsy-aman-dalivay, i atao Fihelañey le
Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
2 nipay hanao afero mamitak’ ate amy Iesoà o mpisorom-beio naho o mpanoki-dilio, fe nimarimariheñe i lahialeñey.
And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
3 Ie amy zao, nitsamoahe’ i mpañìnjey ty tro’ i Jodasy (ty atao nte-Kariota), mpiamy folo ro’ amby rey.
Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
4 Aa le nimb’ amo mpisorom-beio naho o kapitenio re nikilily ty hanolora’e Iesoà.
And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.
5 Niehake iereo, naho nisafiry t’ie hitoloran-drala.
And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
6 Le niantofa’e, vaho nandiñe ty hamotets’ aze am’ iereo, ie tsy amy lahialeñey.
And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
7 Tondrok’ amy zao ty Sabadida-Mofo tsy aman-dalivay, ty andro fandentàñe i Fihelañey.
Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.
8 Le nirahe’e t’i Petera naho i Jaona ami’ty hoe: Akia, halankaño i Fihelañey ho kamaen-tikañe.
And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
9 Hoe iereo tama’e: Aia ty zoto’o hañajariañe aze?
And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?
10 Hoe ty natoi’e: Ie mizilik’ an-drova ao nahareo le hifanojo ami’ t’indaty minday siny pea rano; oriho mb’an-traño imoaha’e ao.
And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.
11 Le anò ty hoe amy tompon’ anjombay: Hoe t’i Talè ama’o: Aia ty trañon’ ambahiny hitraofako fikama ty Fihelañe toy amo mpiamakoo?
And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
12 le ho toroa’e traño mitratrañàka am-batsa vory haraotse; halankaño ao.
And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
13 Nienga iereo, nahaoniñe hambañ’ amy tsinara’ey vaho nañalankañe i Fihelañey.
And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
14 Ie tondroke i oray, le niambesatse re naho o Firàhe’eo.
And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
15 Le nanoa’e ty hoe: Nisalala hikama ty Fihelañe toy raho mindre ama’ areo aolo’ ty haoreako.
And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
16 Itaroñako te, tsy ihinanako ka, ampara’ ty hifonira’e am-Pifehean’ Añahare ao.
For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17 Rinambe’e ty fitovy le nañandriañe nanao ty hoe: Rambeso toy, ifanjotsò,
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide [it] among yourselves:
18 Itaroñako te tsy hinomako ka ty voa’ i vahey henàne zao ampara’ te tendreke i Fifehean’ Añaharey.
For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
19 Nandrambe mofo re le nañandriañe naho nifolahe’e vaho nazotso’e am’iereo ami’ty hoe: Intoy ty vatako banabanaeñe ho anahareo, anò zao ho fitiahiañe ahy.
And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake [it], and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20 Hoe zay ka i fitoviy, ie fa nikama, nanao ty hoe: Ty fitovy toy ro fañina nivaoeñe ami’ ty lioko nadoañe ho anahareo.
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup [is] the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
21 Le hehe te mindre an-tañako am-pandambañañe etoañe ty fitañe hifotetse ahiko.
But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me [is] with me on the table.
22 Toe hitoronjo amy nilaharañey i Ana’ondatiy; fe hankàñe am’ indaty mifotetse azey!
And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!
23 Aa le hene nifañontàne te ia am’ iereo ty hanao zay.
And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.
24 Mbore nialy vava te ia am’ iereo ty atao loha’e.
And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.
25 Le hoe t’Iesoà am’ iereo: Manindritindry o kilakila’ ondatio ty mpanjaka’ iareo, mbore tokaveñe ty hoe matarike o mpifele’ iareoo.
And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.
26 F’ie tsy hanahake zay, fa hanahake an-jai’e ty bey ama’areo, naho hoe te mpitoroñe ty mpifehe.
But ye [shall] not [be] so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
27 Aa ia ty bey, i miambesatse am-pandambaña eoy, ke ty manjotso? Tsy i miambesatse mikamay hao? Fe mitraoke ama’ areo raho hoe te mpitoroñe.
For whether [is] greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? [is] not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
28 F’inahareo ro nipitek’ amako amo fañolañ’ay nizoeñeo,
Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.
29 le hifañinako manahake ty fifeheañe nifañinan-dRaeko amako,
And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
30 soa te hikama naho hinoñe am-pandambañako am-pifeheako ao nahareo vaho hiambesatse am-piambesan-droandriañe eo hizaka i fifokoa’ Israele folo ro’ amby rey.
That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
31 O Simona, Simona, toe nangatahe’ i Ratiy amako rehe ho tsararahe’e hoe lilañe,
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired [to have] you, that he may sift [you] as wheat:
32 fe ihalaliako, te tsy hilesa ty fatokisa’o; le ihe mitampoly, ampahozaro o rahalahi’oo.
But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
33 Le hoe ty natoi’e aze: O Talè, veka’e hindre ama’o raho ndra ho am-balabey ndra ho an-kibory ao.
And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.
34 Hoe t’Iesoà: Taroñeko ama’o, Petera, Mbe tsy hikoike i akoholahiy te anito t’ie fa nanao jebe ahy in-telo.
And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
35 Le hoe re am’ iereo: Ie niraheko tsy aman-koro tsy aman-kotrañe tsy aman-kana; ino ty tsy niheneke ama’ areo? Leo raike, hoe iereo.
And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
36 Aa le hoe re tam’ iereo: Henaneo, ze aman-koroñe, endeso, izay ka ty kotrañe; le ze tsy amam-pibara ro handetake ty sarimbo’e hikaloa’e.
Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take [it], and likewise [his] scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
37 Itaroñako te tsi-mete tsy henefañe amako ze pinatetse ty hoe, Nivolilieñe amo tsereheñeo re; eka, amam-pirefea’e ka ze hifetsak’ amako.
For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
38 Hoe o mpiama’eo, O Talè, intoa ty mesolava roe. Soa zay, hoe re.
And they said, Lord, behold, here [are] two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
39 Le nienga mb’am-bohitse Oliva mb’eo re ami’ty lili’e naho nañorik’aze o mpiama’eo.
And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.
40 Ie an-toetse eo, le hoe re tam’iereo: Mihalalia tsy hivariñe am-panjiziañe ao.
And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
41 Nihankaña’e va’e tra-torake, nitafatongaleke naho nihalaly
And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
42 ty hoe: O Aba, naho satri’o, asitak’ amako ty fitovy toy, fe tsy ty satriko fa ty Azo ro hanoeñe.
Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
43 Le nisodehañe ama’e ty anjely hirik’ andindìñe ao nampaozatse aze.
And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
44 Kanao nalovolovy, nimanea’e i halali’ey, le hoe fitsopan-dio jabajaba ty liñe’e nipopok’ an-tane eo.
And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
45 Ie nitroatse amy halali’ey le nimb’ amo mpiama’eo mb’eo vaho nizoe’e nirotse ty hontoke.
And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,
46 Hoe re am’iereo: Ino ty irota’ areo? Miongaha, le milolofa tsy mone hijoñe am-panjizieñe ao.
And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.
47 Ie mbe nisaontsy, hehek’ i màroy naho i atao Jodasy, mpiamy folo ro’ amby rey, niaolo iareo naho nitotoke Iesoà vaho nañorok’ aze.
And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.
48 Aa hoe t’Iesoà tama’e, O Jodasy, ondroke hao ty ifotera’o i Ana’ondatiy?
But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
49 Ie nirendre’ o mpiama’eo ty hizò, le hoe iereo ama’e: O Rañandria, ho lafà’ay am-pibara hao?
When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
50 Le kinitsi’ ty raik’ ama’e ty ravembia havana’ ty mpitoro’ i talèm-pisoroñey.
And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
51 Fe tinoi’ Iesoà ty hoe: Adono amy zao. Le tsinapa’e i ravembia’ey vaho nampijangañe’e.
And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.
52 Le hoe t’Iesoà amo nimb’ama’e mb’eoo, o mpisorom-beio naho o mpifelek’ Anjomban’ Añahareo vaho o roandriañeo: Ia ty nihofiha’ areo boak’ ao reke-pibara naho doda hoe mañoridañe malaso?
Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?
53 Nifamoemboeñe ama’areo añ’ Anjomban’ Añahare ao boak’ andro raho, fa tsy nañitiam-pitàñe. Fe henaneo ty ora’ areo naho ty haozara’ i ìeñey.
When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
54 Rinambe’iereo re, le nikozozòteñe mb’eo vaho nazilik’ añ’anjomba’ i mpisorom-beiy. Nanonjohy ey t’i Petera.
Then took they him, and led [him], and brought him into the high priest’s house. And Peter followed afar off.
55 Teo ty namiañ’ afo an-kiririsa ey naho nitoboke, le niambesatse am’ iereo eo t’i Petera.
And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.
56 Nitrea’ ty mpitoroñ’ ampela namindro amy afoy re naho niharefe’e, le hoe re: Nimpiama’e ka t’indaty tìañe.
But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.
57 Fe hoe ty lie’e: O Rampela, jebe ahy zay.
And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.
58 Ie añe, nahaoniñe aze ka ty raike, le hoe re: Mpiam’ iareo ka rehe. Hoe t’i Petera: O koahe, tsy zaho zay!
And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.
59 Ie ho ora raik’ añe le eo ty nisikisiky namente ami’ty hoe: Toe nimpindre ama’e re fa nte-Galilia.
And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this [fellow] also was with him: for he is a Galilæan.
60 Aa hoe t’i Petera: O korahe nofiko z’o saontsie’o zao! Tsipaepae zay, ie mbe nisaontsy, le nikoike i akoholahiy,
And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.
61 le nitolike t’i Talè nitalahatse amy Petera. Aa le nitiahi’ i Petera i tsinara’ i Talè ama’ey ty hoe: Aolo’ ty koihe’ i mpikoikey, le hanao jebe ahy in-telo rehe.
And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
62 Niakatse amy zao t’i Petera nangololoike ty rovetse.
And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.
63 Nikobìke naho namofoke Iesoà o lahilahy namontititse azeo.
And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote [him].
64 Kinàpe’ iereo o fihaino’eo vaho rinarateha’ iareo ty lahara’e, le nañontane aze: Mitokia! Ia o nandafa Azoo?
And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?
65 Maro ka ty fiteraterà’ iereo ama’e.
And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.
66 Naho nanjirike àndro, nivory o roandriañeo, o talem-pisoroñeo reketse mpanoki-dily; le nasese am-pivori’iareo ao re, le nanoañe ty hoe:
And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,
67 Naho ihe i Norizañey, atalilio. Aa le hoe t’Iesoà am’iereo: Ndra te itaroñako, toe tsy hiantoke
Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:
68 le ndra t’ie añontaneako tsy hanoiñe ka.
And if I also ask [you], ye will not answer me, nor let [me] go.
69 Henane zao te hiambesatse an-kavanan-kaozaran’ Añahare eo i Ana’ ondatiy.
Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.
70 Aa le hoe ty rodo-bei’ iareo: Anan’ Añahare arè v’Iheo? Hoe ty natoi’e: Ie saontsie’ areo.
Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.
71 Le hoe iereo: Inoñe ka ty ipaian-tika valolombeloñe? kanao sambe nahajanjiñe am-bava’e.
And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.
