< 1 Samoela 10 >

1 Rinambe’ i Samoele amy zao ty paki-menake naho nadoa’e amy añambone’ey vaho norofa’e, le nanoe’e ty hoe: Tsy Iehovà hao ty nañory azo ho mpifeleke i lova’ey?
Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD has anointed you to be captain over his inheritance?
2 Ihe mienga ahy te anito, le hañisake ondaty roe marine ty kibori’ i Rakele añ’ efe-tane’ i Beniamine e Tselzà eo; le hanao ty hoe ama’o iereo: Fa nirendreke o borìke nihitrife’o ho tsoeheñeo, vaho fa napon-drae’o ty fimarimariha’e iareo, te mone ihe ty imarimariha’e, ami’ty hoe, Hataoko akore i anakoy?
When you are departed from me to day, then you shall find two men by Rachel's tomb in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto you, The asses which you went to seek are found: and, lo, your father has left the care of the asses, and sorrows for you, saying, What shall I do for my son?
3 Hionjoñe mb’eo irehe le ie pok’ añ-kile’ i Tabore ro hifanampe amy t’indaty telo mionjomb’ aman’ Añahare e Betele mb’eo, minday vik’ose telo ty raike, naho minday mofo telo ty raike vaho mitintiñe zonjon-divay ty raike.
Then shall you go on forward from thence, and you shall come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet you three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine:
4 Hañontane azo iereo vaho hanolotse azo boko-mofo roe; rambeso am-pità’e eo izay.
And they will salute you, and give you two loaves of bread; which you shall receive of their hands.
5 Ie añe, le higodañe am-bohin’ Añahare irehe amy toem-pirai-lian-dahin-defon-te-Pilistiy eo; aa ihe fa nigodañe amy rovay, le hifanalaka ami’ty firimboñam-pitoky mizotso boak’ an-kaboañe ey, hiaoloa’ ty jejo-bory naho ty fikorintsañe naho ty soly naho ty marovany le hitoky iereo.
After that you shall come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when you are come thither to the city, that you shall meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a timbrel, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy:
6 Ho entoan’ Arofo’ Iehovà an-kaozara’e irehe le hiharoa’o fitoky vaho hiova ho ondaty hafa.
And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon you, and you shall prophesy with them, and shall be turned into another man.
7 Ie tendrek’ azo i viloñe rezay, le anò ze zoem-pità’o amy te mindre ama’o t’i Andrianañahare.
And let it be, when these signs are come unto you, that you do as occasion serve you; for God is with you.
And you shall go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto you, to offer burnt offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings: seven days shall you tarry, till I come to you, and show you what you shall do.
9 Aa ie niamboho, hienga i Samoele, le tinolon’ Añahare arofo vao; vaho nitendrek’ amy andro zay i viloñe iaby rey.
And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.
10 Ie nigodañe am-bohitse ey, inge ty mpirimbom-pitoky nifanalaka ama’e; le nirorote’ i Arofon’ Añaharey re vaho nitrao-pitoky am’ iereo.
And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.
11 Ie nioni’ o mpahafohiñe Azeo te heheke! nitoky miharo amo mpitokio, le hoe ty nifanaontsia’ ondatio: Ino ze o nivotrak’ amy ana’ i Kiseio? Mpiamo mpitokio ka hao t’i Saole?
And it came to pass, when all that knew him in time past saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that has come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?
12 Nanoiñe izay ty mpiam’ iereo ami’ty hoe: Aa ia ka ty rae’ iareo? aa le nanjare razan-drehake ty hoe: Mpiamo mpitokio ka hao t’i Saole?
And one of the same place answered and said, But who is their father? Therefore it became a proverb, Is Saul also among the prophets?
13 Ie nihenefe’e i fitokiañey le niheo mb’ an-toetse an-kaboam-beo.
And when he had made an end of prophesying, he came to the high place.
14 Le hoe ty rahalahin-drae’ i Saole ama’e naho amy mpitoro’ey: Nimb’ aia v’inahareoo? Le hoe re: Nipay i borìke rey zahay; aa ie nifohiñe te tsy ho rendreke, le nomb’ amy Samoele mb’eo.
And Saul's uncle said unto him and to his servant, Where went all of you? And he said, To seek the asses: and when we saw that they were no where, we came to Samuel.
15 Le hoe ty rahalahin-drae’ i Saole: Ehe, atalilio amako: Ino ty nisaontsia’ i Samoele?
And Saul's uncle said, Tell me, I pray you, what Samuel said unto you.
16 Le hoe t’i Saole amy rahalahin-drae’ey: Tinaro’e ama’ay an-tsaontsy mora te nirendreke i borìke rey. Fe tsy nabeo’e ama’e i fifeheañe tinaro’ i Samoeley.
And Saul said unto his uncle, He told us plainly that the asses were found. But of the matter of the kingdom, whereof Samuel spoke, he told him not.
17 Kinoi’ i Samoele ondatio hifanontoñe amy Iehovà e Mitspè ao.
And Samuel called the people together unto the LORD to Mizpeh;
18 Le hoe re amo ana’ Israeleo: Hoe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ Israele: Navotako amy Mitsraime t’Israele, toe navotsoko am-pità’ o nte-Mitsraimeo, vaho am-pità’ o fifeheañe namorekeke anahareoo.
And said unto the children of Israel, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, and of them that oppressed you:
19 Fe naforintse’ areo anindroany t’i Andrianañahare’ areo mpandrombak’ anahareo amo hankàñeo naho amo maha-ampohek’ anahareoo: vaho nanao ama’e ty hoe: Aiy! fa mpanjaka ty hajado’o hifehe anay. Ie amy zao, miatrefa amy Iehovà am-pifokoa’e, naho añ’ arivo’e.
And all of you have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and all of you have said unto him, Nay, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes, and by your thousands.
20 Aa le nampañarinea’ i Samoele iaby o fifokoa’ Israeleo; rinambe t’i Beniamine.
And when Samuel had caused all the tribes of Israel to come near, the tribe of Benjamin was taken.
21 Nampañarinea’e ty fifokoa’ i Beniamine amo hasavereña’eo, le rinambe ty hasavereña’ i Matrý; vaho rinambe’e t’i Saole ana’ i Kise; aa le pinay re fa tsy nioniñe.
When he had caused the tribe of Benjamin to come near by their families, the family of Matri was taken, and Saul the son of Kish was taken: and when they sought him, he could not be found.
22 Nañontanea’ iareo indraike t’Iehovà: Fa pok’atoy hao indatiy? Le hoe ty natoi’ Iehovà, Ingo ie mietak’ amo kilankañeo.
Therefore they enquired of the LORD further, if the man should yet come thither. And the LORD answered, Behold he has hid himself among the stuff.
23 Aa le nihitrihitry mb’eo iereo nangalak’ aze; ie nijohañe añivo’ ondatio, le niabo te amy ze ondaty eo, mifototse an-tsoro’e mañambone.
And they ran and fetched him thence: and when he stood among the people, he was higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward.
24 Le hoe t’i Samoele am’ ondaty iabio: Hehe ty jinobo’ Iehovà, vaho tsy ama’ ondaty iabio ty mañirinkiriñe aze. Le nipazake ty hoe ondaty iabio: Lava havelo o mpanjakao.
And Samuel said to all the people, See all of you him whom the LORD has chosen, that there is none like him among all the people? And all the people shouted, and said, God save the king.
25 Tinaro’ i Samoele am’ ondatio amy zao ty sata’ o fifeheañeo naho sinoki’e am-boke, vaho nahaja’e añatrefa’ Iehovà. Nampolie’ i Samoele amy zao ondatio songa mb’ añ’ anjomba’e mb’eo.
Then Samuel told the people the manner of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the LORD. And Samuel sent all the people away, every man to his house.
26 Le nimb’añ’ akiba’e mb’e Gibeà ka t’i Saole; vaho nindre ama’e mb’eo o fanalolahy nedrèn’ Añahareo.
And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched.
27 Fa hoe ka o tsivokatseo: Aia ty haharombaha’ ondatio antika? Nisirikae’ iareo, ie tsy nañendesañe ravoravo, f’ie nitàm-pianjiñañe avao.
But the children of Belial said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him, and brought no presents. But he held his peace.
