लूका 18
1 तब यीशु न अपनो चेलावों ख दृष्टान्त म कह्यो कि हमेशा प्रार्थना करनो अऊर हिम्मत नहीं छोड़न ख होना असो सिखायो।
And he spake also a simile to them, that it behoveth [us] always to pray, and not to faint,
2 “कोयी शहर म एक सच्चो रहत होतो, जो परमेश्वर सी नहीं डरत होतो अऊर नहीं कोयी आदमी की परवाह करत होतो।
saying, 'A certain judge was in a certain city — God he is not fearing, and man he is not regarding —
3 उच शहर म एक विधवा भी रहत होती, जो ओको जवर आय–आय क कहत होती, ‘मोरो न्याय कर क् मोख आरोप लगावन वालो सी बचाव!’
and a widow was in that city, and she was coming unto him, saying, Do me justice on my opponent,
4 कुछ समय तक त ऊ नहीं मान्यो पर आखरी म अपनो आप म बिचार कर ख कह्यो, ‘जब कि मय परमेश्वर सी नहीं डरू, अऊर नहीं आदमी की कुछ परवाह करू हय,
and he would not for a time, but after these things he said in himself, Even if God I do not fear, and man do not regard,
5 तब भी या विधवा मोख सतावती रह्य हय, येकोलायी मय ओको न्याय चुकाऊं, कहीं असो नहीं होय कि बार-बार आय क आखिर म मोरी नाक म दम करेंन!’”
yet because this widow doth give me trouble, I will do her justice, lest, perpetually coming, she may plague me.'
6 प्रभु न कह्यो, “सुनो, यो अधर्मी न्यायधीश न का कह्यो?
And the Lord said, 'Hear ye what the unrighteous judge saith:
7 येकोलायी का परमेश्वर अपनो चुन्यो हुयो को न्याय नहीं चुकायेंन, जो रात–दिन ओकी मदत लायी पुकारतो रह्य हंय? का ऊ उन्को मदत करन म देर करेंन?
and shall not God execute the justice to His choice ones, who are crying unto Him day and night — bearing long in regard to them?
8 मय तुम सी कहू हय, ऊ तुरतच उन्को न्याय चुकायेंन। तब भी आदमी को बेटा जब आयेंन, त का ऊ धरती पर विश्वास पायेंन?”
I say to you, that He will execute the justice to them quickly; but the Son of Man having come, shall he find the faith upon the earth?'
9 यीशु न उन लोगों सी जो अपनो ऊपर भरोसा रखत होतो, कि हम सच्चो हंय, अऊर दूसरों ख तुच्छ जानत होतो, यो दृष्टान्त कह्यो:
And he spake also unto certain who have been trusting in themselves that they were righteous, and have been despising the rest, this simile:
10 “दोय आदमी मन्दिर म प्रार्थना करन लायी गयो: एक फरीसी होतो अऊर दूसरों कर लेनवालो।
'Two men went up to the temple to pray, the one a Pharisee, and the other a tax-gatherer;
11 “फरीसी खड़ो होय क अपनो मन म यो प्रार्थना करन लग्यो, ‘हे परमेश्वर, मय तोरो धन्यवाद करू हय कि मय दूसरों आदमी को जसो लोभी, अधर्मी, अऊर व्यभिचारी नहीं, अऊर नहीं यो कर लेनवालो को जसो हय।
the Pharisee having stood by himself, thus prayed: God, I thank Thee that I am not as the rest of men, rapacious, unrighteous, adulterers, or even as this tax-gatherer;
12 मय हप्ता म दोय बार उपवास रखू हय, मय अपनी सब कमायी को दसवा अंश भी देऊ हय।’
I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all things — as many as I possess.
13 “पर कर लेनवालो न दूर खड़ो होय क, स्वर्ग को तरफ आंखी उठावनो भी नहीं चाह्यो, बल्की अपनी छाती पीट–पीट क कह्यो, ‘हे परमेश्वर, मय पापी पर दया कर!’
'And the tax-gatherer, having stood afar off, would not even the eyes lift up to the heaven, but was smiting on his breast, saying, God be propitious to me — the sinner!
14 यीशु न कह्यो, मय तुम सी कहू हय कि ऊ फरीसी नहीं, पर योच कर लेनवालो आदमी सच्चो ठहरायो गयो अऊर ऊ अपनो घर गयो; कहालीकि जो कोयी अपनो आप ख बड़ो बनायेंन, ऊ नम्र करयो जायेंन; अऊर जो अपनो आप ख नम्र बनायेंन, ऊ बड़ो करयो जायेंन।”
I say to you, this one went down declared righteous, to his house, rather than that one: for every one who is exalting himself shall be humbled, and he who is humbling himself shall be exalted.'
15 तब लोग अपनो बच्चां ख भी ओको जवर लान लग्यो कि ऊ उन्को पर हाथ रखेंन, पर चेलावों न देख क उन्ख डाट्यो।
And they were bringing near also the babes, that he may touch them, and the disciples having seen did rebuke them,
16 यीशु न बच्चां ख जवर बुलाय क कह्यो, “बच्चां ख मोरो जवर आवन दे, अऊर उन्ख मना मत करो: कहालीकि परमेश्वर को राज्य असोच को हय।
and Jesus having called them near, said, 'Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the reign of God;
17 मय तुम सी सच कहू हय कि जो कोयी परमेश्वर को राज्य ख बच्चा को जसो स्वीकार नहीं करेंन ऊ ओको म कभी सिरनो नहीं पायेंन।”
verily I say to you, Whoever may not receive the reign of God as a little child, may not enter into it.'
18 कोयी यहूदी मुखिया न यीशु सी पुच्छ्यो, “हे उत्तम गुरु, अनन्त जीवन को अधिकारी होन लायी मय का करू?” (aiōnios g166)
And a certain ruler questioned him, saying, 'Good teacher, what having done — shall I inherit life age-during?' (aiōnios g166)
19 यीशु न ओको सी कह्यो, “तय मोख अच्छो कहालीकि कह्य हय?” कोयी अच्छो नहाय, “केवल एक, यानेकि परमेश्वर।
And Jesus said to him, 'Why me dost thou call good? no one [is] good, except One — God;
20 तय आज्ञावों ख त जानय हय: ‘व्यभिचार नहीं करनो; हत्या नहीं करनो; अऊर चोरी नहीं करनो; कोयी की झूठी गवाही नहीं देनो; अपनो बाप अऊर अपनी माय को आदर करनो।’”
the commands thou hast known: Thou mayest not commit adultery, Thou mayest do no murder, Thou mayest not steal, Thou mayest not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.'
21 यहूदी मुखिया न कह्यो, “मय त यो आज्ञावों ख जब सी मय समझन लग्यो तब सी मानतो आयो हय।”
And he said, 'All these I did keep from my youth;'
22 यो सुन क, यीशु न ओको सी कह्यो, “तोरो म अब भी एक बात ख करनो हय, अपनो सब कुछ बिक क अपनो पैसा गरीबों म बाट दे, अऊर तोख स्वर्ग म धन मिलेंन; अऊर आय क मोरो पीछू होय जा।”
and having heard these things, Jesus said to him, 'Yet one thing to thee is lacking; all things — as many as thou hast — sell, and distribute to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven, and come, be following me;'
23 पर यो सुन क, ऊ बहुत उदास भयो, कहालीकि ऊ बड़ो धनी होतो।
and he, having heard these things, became very sorrowful, for he was exceeding rich.
24 यीशु न ओख देख क कह्यो, “धनवानों को परमेश्वर को राज्य म सिरनो कितनो कठिन हय!
And Jesus having seen him become very sorrowful, said, 'How hardly shall those having riches enter into the reign of God!
25 परमेश्वर को राज्य म धनवान को सिरनो इतनो कठिन हय कि सूई को नाक म सी ऊंट को निकल जानो सहज हय।”
for it is easier for a camel through the eye of a needle to enter, than for a rich man into the reign of God to enter.'
26 येको पर सुनन वालो न पुच्छ्यो, “त फिर कौन्को उद्धार होय सकय हय?”
And those who heard, said, 'And who is able to be saved?'
27 यीशु न कह्यो, “जो आदमी ख असम्भव हय, ऊ परमेश्वर ख सम्भव हय।”
and he said, 'The things impossible with men are possible with God.'
28 पतरस न कह्यो, “देख! हम त घर–दार छोड़ क तोरो पीछू भय गयो हंय।”
And Peter said, 'Lo, we left all, and did follow thee;'
29 “हां,” यीशु न उन्को सी कह्यो, “मय तुम सी सच कहू हय कि असो कोयी नहाय जेन परमेश्वर को राज्य लायी घर या पत्नी या भाऊ या माय-बाप या बाल–बच्चां ख छोड़ दियो हय;
and he said to them, 'Verily I say to you, that there is not one who left house, or parents, or brothers, or wife, or children, for the sake of the reign of God,
31 तब यीशु न बारा चेलावों ख अलग लिजाय क उन्को सी कह्यो, “सुनो! हम यरूशलेम ख जाय रह्यो हंय, अऊर जितनी बाते आदमी को बेटा लायी भविष्यवक्तावों सी लिख्यो गयो हंय, हि सब पूरी होयेंन।
And having taken the twelve aside, he said unto them, 'Lo, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things shall be completed — that have been written through the prophets — to the Son of Man,
32 कहालीकि ऊ गैरयहूदी को हाथ म सौंप्यो जायेंन, अऊर हि ओख ठट्ठो म उड़ायेंन, अऊर ओको अपमान करेंन, अऊर ओको पर थूकेंन,
for he shall be delivered up to the nations, and shall be mocked, and insulted, and spit upon,
33 अऊर ओख कोड़ा मारेंन अऊर घात करेंन, अऊर ऊ तीसरो दिन फिर सी जीन्दो होयेंन।”
and having scourged they shall put him to death, and on the third day he shall rise again.'
34 पर चेलावों न इन बातों म सी कोयी बात नहीं समझी; अऊर या बात उन्को सी लूकी रही, कि यीशु का कह्य रह्यो होतो उन्को समझ म नहीं आयो।
And they none of these things understood, and this saying was hid from them, and they were not knowing the things said.
35 जब यीशु यरीहो नगर को जवर पहुंच्यो, त एक अन्धा आदमी सड़क को किनार बैठ्यो हुयो, भीख मांग रह्यो होतो।
And it came to pass, in his coming nigh to Jericho, a certain blind man was sitting beside the way begging,
36 ऊ भीड़ की चलनो की आवाज सुन क पूछन लग्यो, “यो का होय रह्यो हय?”
and having heard a multitude going by, he was inquiring what this may be,
37 उन्न अन्धा ख बतायो, “यीशु नासरी जाय रह्यो हय।”
and they brought him word that Jesus the Nazarene doth pass by,
38 तब ओन पुकार क कह्यो, “हे यीशु, दाऊद की सन्तान, मोरो पर दया कर!”
and he cried out, saying, 'Jesus, Son of David, deal kindly with me;'
39 जो आगु–आगु जाय रह्यो होतो, हि ओख डाटन लग्यो कि चुप रहो; पर ऊ अऊर भी जोर सी चिल्लावन लग्यो, “हे दाऊद की सन्तान, मोरो पर दया कर!”
and those going before were rebuking him, that he might be silent, but he was much more crying out, 'Son of David, deal kindly with me.'
40 तब यीशु न रूक क आज्ञा दियो कि अन्धा आदमी ख मोरो जवर लावो, अऊर जब ऊ जवर आयो त यीशु न ओको सी पुच्छ्यो,
And Jesus having stood, commanded him to be brought unto him, and he having come nigh, he questioned him,
41 “तय का चाहवय हय कि मय तोरो लायी करू?” ओन कह्यो, “हे प्रभु, यो कि मय फिर सी देखन लगू।”
saying, 'What wilt thou I shall do to thee?' and he said, 'Sir, that I may receive sight.'
42 यीशु न ओको सी कह्यो, “देखन लग! तोरो विश्वास न तोख अच्छो कर दियो हय।”
And Jesus said to him, 'Receive thy sight; thy faith hath saved thee;'
43 तब ऊ तुरतच देखन लग्यो अऊर परमेश्वर की बड़ायी करतो हुयो ओको पीछू भय गयो; अऊर सब लोगों न देख क परमेश्वर की स्तुति करी।
and presently he did receive sight, and was following him, glorifying God; and all the people, having seen, did give praise to God.
