< Leviticus 18 >

1 Locutus est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
2 Loquere filiis Israël, et dices ad eos: Ego Dominus Deus vester:
Speak to [the] people of Israel and you will say to them I [am] Yahweh God your.
3 juxta consuetudinem terræ Ægypti, in qua habitastis, non facietis: et juxta morem regionis Chanaan, ad quam ego introducturus sum vos, non agetis, nec in legitimis eorum ambulabitis.
According to [the] deed[s] of [the] land of Egypt which you dwelt in it not you will do and according to [the] deed[s] of [the] land of Canaan where I [am] about to bring you there towards not you will do and in statutes their not you will walk.
4 Facietis judicia mea, et præcepta mea servabitis, et ambulabitis in eis. Ego Dominus Deus vester.
Judgments my you will do and statutes my you will keep by walking in them I [am] Yahweh God your.
5 Custodite leges meas atque judicia, quæ faciens homo, vivet in eis. Ego Dominus.
And you will keep statutes my and judgments my which he will do them humankind and he will live by them I [am] Yahweh.
6 Omnis homo ad proximam sanguinis sui non accedet, ut revelet turpitudinem ejus. Ego Dominus.
A man a man to any relative of flesh his not you will draw near to uncover nakedness I [am] Yahweh.
7 Turpitudinem patris tui et turpitudinem matris tuæ non discooperies: mater tua est: non revelabis turpitudinem ejus.
[the] nakedness of Father your and [the] nakedness of mother your not you will uncover [is] mother your she not you will uncover nakedness her.
8 Turpitudinem uxoris patris tui non discooperies: turpitudo enim patris tui est.
[the] nakedness of [the] wife of Father your not you will uncover [is] [the] nakedness of father your it.
9 Turpitudinem sororis tuæ ex patre sive ex matre, quæ domi vel foris genita est, non revelabis.
[the] nakedness of Sister your [the] daughter of father your or [the] daughter of mother your one born of house or one born outside not you will uncover nakedness their.
10 Turpitudinem filiæ filii tui vel neptis ex filia non revelabis: quia turpitudo tua est.
[the] nakedness of [the] daughter of Son your or [the] daughter of daughter your not you will uncover nakedness their for [are] own nakedness your they.
11 Turpitudinem filiæ uxoris patris tui, quam peperit patri tuo, et est soror tua, non revelabis.
[the] nakedness of [the] daughter of [the] wife of Father your one born of father your [is] sister your she not you will uncover nakedness her.
12 Turpitudinem sororis patris tui non discooperies: quia caro est patris tui.
[the] nakedness of [the] sister of Father your not you will uncover [is] a relative of father your she.
13 Turpitudinem sororis matris tuæ non revelabis, eo quod caro sit matris tuæ.
[the] nakedness of [the] sister of Mother your not you will uncover for [is] a relative of mother your she.
14 Turpitudinem patrui tui non revelabis, nec accedes ad uxorem ejus, quæ tibi affinitate conjungitur.
[the] nakedness of [the] brother of Father your not you will uncover to wife his not you will draw near [is] aunt your she.
15 Turpitudinem nurus tuæ non revelabis, quia uxor filii tui est: nec discooperies ignominiam ejus.
[the] nakedness of Daughter-in-law your not you will uncover [is] [the] wife of son your she not you will uncover nakedness her.
16 Turpitudinem uxoris fratris tui non revelabis: quia turpitudo fratris tui est.
[the] nakedness of [the] wife of Brother your not you will uncover [is] [the] nakedness of brother your it.
17 Turpitudinem uxoris tuæ et filiæ ejus non revelabis. Filiam filii ejus, et filiam filiæ illius non sumes, ut reveles ignominiam ejus: quia caro illius sunt, et talis coitus incestus est.

18 Sororem uxoris tuæ in pellicatum illius non accipies, nec revelabis turpitudinem ejus adhuc illa vivente.
and a woman to sister her not you will take to make [her] a rival wife to uncover nakedness her with her in life her.
19 Ad mulierem quæ patitur menstrua non accedes, nec revelabis fœditatem ejus.
And to a woman in [the] menstruous impurity of uncleanness her not you will draw near to uncover nakedness her.
20 Cum uxore proximi tui non coibis, nec seminis commistione maculaberis.
And to [the] wife of fellow citizen your not you will give copulation your for seed to be unclean by her.
21 De semine tuo non dabis ut consecretur idolo Moloch, nec pollues nomen Dei tui. Ego Dominus.
And any of offspring your not you will give to make pass to Molech and not you will profane [the] name of God your I [am] Yahweh.
22 Cum masculo non commiscearis coitu femineo, quia abominatio est.
And a male not you will lie with [the] lyings of a woman [is] an abomination it.
23 Cum omni pecore non coibis, nec maculaberis cum eo. Mulier non succumbet jumento, nec miscebitur ei, quia scelus est.
And in any animal not you will give copulation your to be unclean by it and a woman not she will stand before an animal to stretch out with it [is] confusion it.
24 Nec polluamini in omnibus his quibus contaminatæ sunt universæ gentes, quas ego ejiciam ante conspectum vestrum,
May not you defile yourselves by all these [things] for by all these [things] they have made themselves unclean the nations which I [am] about to send away from before you.
25 et quibus polluta est terra: cujus ego scelera visitabo, ut evomat habitatores suos.
And it became unclean the land and I visited iniquity its on it and it vomited up the land inhabitants its.
26 Custodite legitima mea atque judicia, et non faciatis ex omnibus abominationibus istis, tam indigena quam colonus qui peregrinantur apud vos.
And you will keep you statutes my and judgments my and not you will do any of all the abominations these the native-born and the sojourner who sojourns in midst of you.
27 Omnes enim execrationes istas fecerunt accolæ terræ qui fuerunt ante vos, et polluerunt eam.
For all the abominations these they did [the] people of the land who [were] before you and it became unclean the land.
28 Cavete ergo ne et vos similiter evomat, cum paria feceritis, sicut evomuit gentem, quæ fuit ante vos.
And not it will vomit up the land you when make unclean you it just as it vomited up the nation which [was] before you.
29 Omnis anima, quæ fecerit de abominationibus his quippiam, peribit de medio populi sui.
For every [one] who he will do any of all the abominations these and they will be cut off the persons who do [them] from among people their.
30 Custodite mandata mea. Nolite facere quæ fecerunt hi qui fuerunt ante vos, et ne polluamini in eis. Ego Dominus Deus vester.
And you will keep duty my to not to do any of [the] customs of the abominations which they have been done before you and not you will make yourselves unclean by them I [am] Yahweh God your.
