< Rome 6 >

1 Na mea kut ac fahk? Ya kut ac oru na ma koluk tuh lungkulang lun God fah yokelik?
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 Mo, in tia ouinge! Kut misa tari nu ke ma koluk — na fuka tuh kut in srakna moulkin ma koluk?
God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Tuh kowos tia etu lah ke kut baptaisla in ma sefannala yurin Christ Jesus, kut oayapa baptaisla in ma sefannala yorol ke misa lal.
Know you not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Ke kut baptaisla, kut welul pukpuki ac welul misa, tuh in oana ke akmoulyeyukyak el liki misa ke ku wolana lun Papa, kut fah oayapa ku in moulkin sie moul sasu.
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 Tuh ke sripen kut ma sefannala yorol ke kut welul in misa lal, in ouiya sacna kut ac fah akmoulyeyukyak oana el nu ke moul.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Ac kut etu lah moul matu lasr wi Christ anwuki fin sakseng, tuh God Elan kunausla kena lasr nu ke ma koluk, na kut fah tia sifilpa mwet kohs nu ke ma koluk.
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that from now on we should not serve sin.
7 Tuh ke pacl se sie mwet el misa, el aksukosokyeyukla liki ku lun ma koluk.
For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Ke kut misa tari yurin Christ, kut lulalfongi lah kut fah oayapa moul yorol.
Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Tuh kut etu tuh Christ el akmoulyeyukyak liki misa, ac el ac fah tia sifil misa, mweyen el tia sifil muta ye ku lun misa.
Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more; death has no more dominion over him.
10 Ouinge, ke el misa el kunausla ku lun ma koluk ke pacl sefanna, su ma na nwe tok. Ac moul su el moul kac inge, el moul in sie sin sie yurin God.
For in that he died, he died to sin once: but in that he lives, he lives to God.
11 In lumah sacna, kowos in sifacna lumwekowos oana mwet misa nu ke ma koluk, a kowos moul in sie sin sie yurin God ke Christ Jesus.
Likewise reckon you also yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Ma koluk in tia sifil leumi monuwos, su ma ac kulawi, ac kowos in tia sifil akos kena lun monuwos.
Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Ac kowos in tia pac sang kutena lahn monuwos nu ke ma koluk, in orekmakinyuk nu ke sripa koluk. A kowos in eiskowosyang sifacna nu sin God, oana elos su utuku liki misa nu ke moul, ac eiskowosyang fon nu sel in orekmakinyuk nu ke sripa suwohs.
Neither yield you your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin: but yield yourselves to God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
14 Ma koluk in tia leumi kowos; tuh kowos tia moul ye ma sap a ye lungkulang lun God.
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace.
15 Na mea? Ya kut ac oru ma koluk, mweyen kut tia muta ye Ma Sap a ye kulang lun God? Mo, ac tia ouinge!
What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16 Kowos etu na lah ke pacl se kowos eiskowosyang sifacna oana mwet kohs in akos sie mwet, kowos mwet kohs nu sin leum sac su kowos akos uh. Kowos fin mwet kohs lun ma koluk, kowos ac misa. Ku kowos fin mwet kohs nu sin God ac aksol, na El ac fah aksuwosye kowos ye mutal.
Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?
17 Tusruktu kulo nu sin God! Tuh meet, kowos mwet kohs nu ke ma koluk, a inge kowos akos ma pwaye ma lutiyuk kowos kac ke insiowos nufon.
But God be thanked, that you were the servants of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Kowos tuh tuleyukla liki ku lun ma koluk, ac kowos mwet kohs lac nu ke ma suwoswos.
Being then made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness.
19 (Ke sripen srikla kalem lowos, nga ac orekmakin kas ma kowos pahla in lohng.) In pacl meet ah kowos sifacna eiskowosyang nufon oana mwet kohs nu ke lumah fohkfok ac ma koluk, su ma nu ke sripa koluk. In lumah sacna, kowos enenu in eiskowosyang nufon oana mwet kohs nu ke suwoswos, su ma nu ke sripa mutal.
I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as you have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity to iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness to holiness.
20 Ke pacl se kowos tuh mwet kohs nu ke ma koluk, kowos tuh sukosok liki ma suwoswos.
For when you were the servants of sin, you were free from righteousness.
21 Ma wo fuka kowos tuh eis ke kowos oru ma kowos mwekin kac inge? Saflaiyen ma ingan: misa!
What fruit had you then in those things whereof you are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 Tusruktu inge kowos sukosokla liki ma koluk, ac kowos mwet kohs nu sin God. Ma wo kowos ac eis pa sie moul su kisakinyukyang nufon nu sin God, ac saflaiya: moul ma pahtpat. (aiōnios g166)
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
23 Tuh molin ma koluk pa misa; a mwe kite lun God pa moul ma pahtpat yurin Christ Jesus Leum lasr. (aiōnios g166)
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
