< Mark 12 >

1 Na Jesus el kaskas nu selos ke kas in pupulyuk ac fahk, “Sie mwet el yukwiya sie ima in grape. El orala kalkal se rauneak, ac pukanak luf in itat wain se, ac musaela nien soan se. Na el sang ima se inge nu sin kutu mwet in karingin, na el som liki acn sel nu in sie pac facl.
And he began to speak to them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and dig a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to farmers, and went into a far country.
2 Ac ke sun pacl in telani fokin grape uh, el supwala sie mwet kulansap nu yurin mwet karingin ima sac, tuh elan eis selos ip lal ke kosrani lun grape uh.
And at the season he sent to the farmers a servant, that he might receive from the farmers of the fruit of the vineyard.
And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty.
4 Na mwet kacto sac el sifil supwala sie pac mwet kulansap; ac mwet liyaung nien grape uh elos kanteya sifal, ac oru ma na koluk nu sel.
And again he sent to them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully handled.
5 Na el supwala pac sie mwet kulansap, ac elos unilya.
And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some.
Having yet therefore one son, his well beloved, he sent him also last to them, saying, They will reverence my son.
But those farmers said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.
8 Ouinge elos sruokilya, unilya ac sisla manol liki nien grape uh.”
And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.
What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.
And have you not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:
11 Leum pa oru ma inge uh; Fuka lupan usrngukiya in liye!”
This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?
12 Mwet fulat lun mwet Jew inge srike in sruokilya Jesus ke sripen elos etu mu el fahk pupulyuk inge in lainulos.
And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.
13 Kutu sin mwet Pharisee ac kutu mwet in u lal Herod supweyukla nu yurin Jesus in tuh srifal ke kutu mwe siyuk.
And they send to him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words.
14 Ke elos tuku nu yorol elos fahk, “Mwet Luti, kut etu lah kom fahk ma pwaye ac tia suk lah mea mwet uh ac nunku kac. Kom tia kolak sin kutena mwet, a kom luti ma pwaye ke lungse lun God. Fahk nu sesr, ya ac lain Ma Sap lasr kut in akfalye tax nu sin Caesar, tokosra fulat in acn Rome?
And when they were come, they say to him, Master, we know that you are true, and care for no man: for you regard not the person of men, but teach the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
15 Ya kut ac sang, ku tia?” Tuh Jesus el etu kutasrik lalos, na el topuk ac fahk nu selos, “Efu kowos ku srike in srifeyu? Use sie ipin mani silver an nu sik ngan liye.”
Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, Why tempt you me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.
Na elos topuk ac fahk, “Ma lun Caesar.”
And they brought it. And he says to them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said to him, Caesar’s.
And Jesus answering said to them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. And they marveled at him.
18 Na kutu mwet Sadducee su fahk mu wangin sifil moulyak liki misa, elos tuku nu yurin Jesus ac fahk,
Then come to him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying,
19 “Mwet Luti, Moses el simusla sie ma sap nu sesr fahk mu, ‘Sie mukul fin misa, ac wangin tulik natul nu sin mutan kial, na sie ma lel fah eis katinmas sacn kial ac eltal fah oswela tulik su ac fah pangpang ma nutin ma lel su misa.’
Master, Moses wrote to us, If a man’s brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed to his brother.
Now there were seven brothers: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.
And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise.
22 oayapa tamulel wial ah nufon.
And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also.
23 Ke len in sifil moulyak lun mwet nukewa, na katinmas sac ac fah ma kien su, ke tamulel itkosr ah kewa tuh payuk sel ah?”
In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.
24 Jesus el topuk ac fahk, “Kowos arulana tafongla! Ac kowos etu lah efu? Ma ke kowos tia etu ke Ma Simusla ku ke ku lun God.
And Jesus answering said to them, Do you not therefore err, because you know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?
25 Tuh ke mwet misa uh ac sifil moulyak, elos ac oana lipufan inkusrao, ac elos ac tia payuk.
For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
26 Ac funu ke moulyak lun mwet misa, ya kowos soenna rit in book lal Moses ke ma sikyak ke e se firir in kupo sac? Simla mu God El fahk nu sel Moses ouinge, ‘Nga God lal Abraham, God lal Isaac, ac God lal Jacob.’
And as touching the dead, that they rise: have you not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spoke to him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
27 Kalmeya pa El God lun mwet moul, ac El tia God lun mwet misa. Kowos arulana tafongla!”
He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: you therefore do greatly err.
28 Ac sie sin mwet luti Ma Sap el wi muta we, ac lohng ke elos asiyuki. El liye tuh arulana wo top lal Jesus nu sin mwet Sadducee, na el kalukyang nu yorol ke sie mwe siyuk ac fahk, “Pia ma sap su yohk oemeet ke Ma Sap uh?”
And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
29 Jesus el topuk ac fahk, “Ma Sap se ma yohk emeet pa inge: ‘Lohng, O Israel. Leum God lasr, El God sefanna.
And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 Ac kom fah lungse Leum God lom ke insiom kewa, ac ke ngunum kewa, ac ke nunkom kewa, ac ke ku lom kewa.’
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment.
31 Ac ma sap se akluo pa inge: ‘Kom fah lungse mwet tulan lom oana ke kom lungse kom sifacna.’ Wangin sie pac ma sap yohk liki ma luo inge.”
And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Kom fahk suwohs, Leum God El mukena pa God, ac wangin pac sie god saya.
And the scribe said to him, Well, Master, you have said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
33 Ac mwet se enenu in lungse God ke insial kewa, ke nunkal kewa, ac ke ku lal kewa; ac el enenu pac in lungse mwet tulan lal oana ke el lungse el sifacna. Wo in akos ma sap luo inge liki na in kisakin kosro fin loang uh, ku oru pac kutu mwe kisa saya nu sin God.”
And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
34 Ac ke Jesus el liye tuh el topuk suwohs, el fahk nu sel, “Kom tiana loesla liki Tokosrai lun God.” Tukun ma inge, wangin mwet pulaik in sifil siyuk kutena ma sel.
And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said to him, You are not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that dared ask him any question.
And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the son of David?
36 Ngun Mutal tuh akkaskasyal David, ac el fahk ouinge: ‘Leum God El tuh fahk nu sin Leum luk: Muta siskuk layot Nwe ke nga filiya mwet lokoalok lom ye niom.’
For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit you on my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool.
37 David el sifacna pangnol ‘Leum’; na fuka tuh Christ elan wen natul David?” Oasr sie un mwet na pus su engan in lohng luti lal Jesus.
David therefore himself calls him Lord; and from where is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly.
38 Ac ke el lotelos, el fahk, “Liyekowosyang liki mwet luti Ma Sap, su nokomang nuknuk loeloes ke elos fufahsryesr inmasrlon mwet uh, ac kena tuh mwet uh in akfulatyalos ac paingulos ke nien kuka;
And he said to them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,
39 su sulela nien muta fulat in iwen lolngok ac acn ma wo emeet ke pacl in kufwa.
And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts:
40 Elos aklalfonye katinmas ac pisrala ma lalos, ac oayapa oru pre loeloes lalos mwe na lumah. Ke ma inge ac fah akyokyeyuk mwe kai nu selos in arulana upa!”
Which devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.
41 Ke Jesus el muta apkuran nu ke nien eisani mani in Tempul, el tuni ke mwet uh ac filiya mani lalos uh. Mwet kasrup puspis elos filiya mani na yohk.
And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
43 Na Jesus el pangonma mwet tumal lutlut ac fahk nu selos, “Pwayena nga fahk nu suwos, mwe sang ma katinmas sukasrup se inge el filiya in nien mani uh arulana yohk liki mwe sang lun mwet ngia nukewa.
And he called to him his disciples, and says to them, Truly I say to you, That this poor widow has cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
44 Tuh elos nukewa filiya ma elos srela liki ma puspis lalos, a el, el nwe sukasrup, el sang ma lal nukewa, aok nufon ma oasr yorol.”
For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.
