3 Fin oasr mwet siyuk lah efu komtal ku tulala, komtal fahk mu Leum el enenal ac el ac fah sa in folokunulma.”
If anyone asks you what you are doing, tell them, ‘The Lord needs it and will send it back soon.’”
4 Na eltal som ac konauk donkey fusr soko kapriyuki nu ke mutunoa in lohm se, ac ke eltal tulalla,
So they set off, and found a colt tied to a door, out on the street, and they untied it.

Some of the people standing around asked, “What are you doing, untying that colt”?
6 Ac eltal topuk oana ke Jesus el fahk nu seltal, na mwet uh lela eltal in us som.
The disciples replied just as Jesus told them to, and the people let them go.
7 Eltal use donkey fusr soko ah nu yurin Jesus, ac filiya nuknuk laltal nu fin kosro soko ah, ac Jesus el sroang nu fac.
They brought the colt to Jesus, put their cloaks on it, and Jesus sat on it.
8 Ac mwet puspis laknelik nuknuk lalos inkanek uh, ac kutu pac mwet uh pakela lesak inima uh ac loela inkanek uh.
Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others laid down leafy branches that they'd cut in the fields.
9 Ac elos su fahsr meet ac elos su fahsr tok mutawauk in wowoyak ac fahk, “Kaksakin God! Insewowo el su tuku Inen Leum!
Those leading in the front and those that were following were all shouting, “Hosanna! Bless the one coming in the name of the Lord.

Bless the kingdom of our father David that is coming! Hosanna in the highest!”
11 Jesus el ilyak nu in Jerusalem, som nu in Tempul, ac el ngetang ac liye ma nukewa. Na ke sripen ekela tari, el folokla nu Bethany wi mwet tumal lutlut singoul luo.
Jesus entered Jerusalem and went in to the Temple. He looked around him, observing everything, and then, since it was getting late, he returned to Bethany with the twelve disciples.
12 In len tok ah, ke elos som liki acn Bethany, Jesus el masrinsralla.
The next day, as they left Bethany, Jesus was hungry.
13 Ac ke el liye soko sak fig oan loes kutu nu yorol su oasr sra puspis olo, el som in liye lah oasr fahko kac. Na ke el sun, el liye tuh sra mukena pa kac, mweyen tia pacl in fok lun sak fig uh.
From some distance away he saw a fig tree with leaves, so he went over to it to see if it had any fruit. But when he got there, he found it had only leaves, because it was not the season for figs.
14 Na Jesus el fahk nu ke sak fig soko ah, “Wangin mwet ac fah sifil mongo fig keim nwe tok!” Ac mwet tumal lutlut elos lohng ke el fahk ah. (aiōn g165)
He said to the tree, “May no one eat fruit from you ever again.” His disciples heard his words. (aiōn g165)
15 Ke elos sun acn Jerusalem, Jesus el ilyak nu in Tempul ac mutawauk in ukwauk mwet nukewa su kuka ac elos su moli ma in Tempul uh. El topkakunla tepu lun mwet ayaol mani, ac mwe muta lun mwet su kukakin wuleoa,
They arrived back in Jerusalem, and Jesus went into the Temple. He started driving out the people who were buying and selling in the Temple. He overturned the tables of the money-changers and the chairs of the people selling doves.
16 ac el tia lela kutena mwet in utuk ma, foroht forma in kalkal lun Tempul.
He stopped anyone carrying things through the Temple.
17 Na el luti mwet uh ac fahk, “Simla in Ma Simusla lah God El fahk, ‘Tempul sik ac fah pangpang iwen pre nu sin mwet in mutunfacl nukewa,’ a kowos oru nien wikwik lun mwet pisrapasr!”
He explained to them, “Doesn't Scripture say, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have turned it into a den of thieves!”
18 Mwet tol fulat ac mwet luti Ma Sap elos lohng ke ma inge, ac elos mutawauk in suk lah elos ac unilya Jesus fuka. Elos sangeng sel mweyen mwet nukewa arulana fwefela ke luti lal.
The chief priests and religious teachers heard what had happened, and tried to find a way to kill Jesus. But they were afraid of him, for everyone was so impressed by his teaching.
19 Ac ke ekela, Jesus ac mwet tumal lutlut illa liki siti uh.
When evening came Jesus and his disciples left the city.
20 Toang na ke lotu tok ah, ke elos fahsryak inkanek uh elos liye sak fig soko ah, uli ac masla acn nukewa kac nwe ke oka ah.
The following morning as they returned, they saw the fig tree, withered from the roots up.
21 Peter el esamak ma sikyak ah, na el fahk nu sel Jesus, “Mwet Luti, liye, sak soko kom selngawiya ah pa masla’nge!”
Peter remembered what Jesus had done, and said to him, “Rabbi, look, the fig tree that you cursed has withered.”
22 Jesus el topuk ac fahk, “Kowos in lulalfongi God.
“Trust in God,” Jesus replied.
23 Pwayena nga fahk nu suwos, sie mwet fin fahk nu ke eol soko inge in tuyak ac sifacna srola nu in meoa, ac el tia alolo insial a el lulalfongi lah ma el fahk uh ac orekla oana, na ac itukyang nu sel ma el siyuk kac.

26 A kowos fin tia nunak munas, Papa tomowos su inkusrao El fah oayapa tia nunak munas nu suwos ke ma koluk lowos.]”
27 Na elos sifilpa tuku nu Jerusalem. Ac ke Jesus el fahsr in Tempul, mwet tol fulat, mwet luti Ma Sap, ac un mwet matu elos tuku nu yorol
They returned to Jerusalem, and as he was walking in the Temple, the chief priests, religious teachers, and the leaders approached him.
28 ac siyuk sel, “Ma ya ku lom in oru ma inge? Su sot ku ingan nu sum uh?”
“By what authority are you doing all this?” they demanded. “Who gave you the right?”
29 Ac Jesus el topuk ac fahk, “Nga ac siyuk suwos kusen siyuk sefanna, ac kowos fin topukyula, na nga ac fahkot lah ma ya ku ma nga orekmakin in oru ma inge.
“Let me ask you a question,” Jesus told them. “You answer me, and I'll tell you by whose authority I do these things.
30 Fahkma nu sik, ku lal John in oru baptais lal tuku ya me-ma sin God me, ku ma sin mwet uh?”
John's baptism—did that come from heaven, or from people?”
31 Ac elos mutawauk in asiyuki inmasrlolos ac fahk, “Mea kut ac fahk uh? Kut fin fahk mu ‘Ma sin God me,’ na el ac fahk mu, ‘Na efu kowos ku tia lulalfongel John?’
They discussed it among themselves. They said, “If we say it's from heaven, he'll reply, ‘So why didn't you believe him?’
32 A kut fin fahk mu ‘Ma sin mwet uh...’” (Elos sangeng sin mwet uh, mweyen mwet nukewa lulalfongi mu John el sie mwet palu.)
But if we say, it's of human origin, well…” They were afraid of the crowd, because everyone believed that John was a true prophet.
33 Na elos topuk Jesus ac fahk, “Kut tia etu.” Ac Jesus el fahk nu selos, “Nga ac tia pac fahk nu suwos lah ma ya ku luk in oru ma inge uh.”
So they answered Jesus, “We don't know.” “Then I'm not telling you by whose authority I do these things,” replied Jesus.
