Luke 16
1 Jesus el fahk nu sin mwet tumal lutlut, “Oasr sie mwet na kasrup, su filiya sie mwet tutafpo in liyaung ma lal nukewa. Na fwackyang nu sin mwet kasrup sac lah mwet tutafpo se lal ah supoklotina ma lal uh.
He seide also to hise disciplis, Ther was a riche man, that hadde a baili; and this was defamed to him, as he hadde wastid his goodis.
2 Ouinge el pangnolma ac fahk nu sel, ‘Mea nga lohng keim inge? Ase nu sik sie pwepu in akkalemye orekmakinyen ma luk uh sum, mweyen kom ac tia sifil karingin ma luk uh.’
And he clepide hym, and seide to hym, What here Y this thing of thee? yelde reckynyng of thi baili, for thou miyte not now be baili.
3 Ac mwet tutafpo sac sifacna nunku in el, ‘Mea nga ac oru, ke leum luk el akola in sisyula liki orekma luk uh? Nga munas in wi puk laf, ac nga mwekin in ngusr.
And the baili seide with ynne him silf, What schal Y do, for my lord takith awei fro me the baili? delfe mai Y not, I schame to begge.
4 Kwal, nga etu lah mea nga ac oru, tuh mwet uh in suliyu nu in lohm selos tukun sisila nga liki orekma luk.’
Y woot what Y schal do, that whanne Y am remeued fro the baili, thei resseyue me in to her hous.
5 Ouinge el solama kais sie mwet ma oasr soemoul la nu sin leum sac. El siyuk sin mwet se meet ah, ‘Lupa su soemoul lom nu sin leum luk?’
Therfor whanne alle the dettours of his lord weren clepid togider, he seide to the firste, Hou myche owist thou to my lord?
6 Ac el topuk, ‘Barrel siofok ke oil in olive.’ Na mwet tutafpo sac fahk nu sel, ‘Pa inge pwepu in misa lom uh. Muta insacn, simusla ma lumngaul.’
And he seide, An hundrid barelis of oyle. And he seide to hym, Take thi caucioun, and sitte soone, and write fifti.
7 Na el sifil siyuk sin sie pac, ‘Ac kom, lupa su soemoul lom?’ Ac mwet sac topuk, ‘Sie tausin bushel in wheat.’ Na mwet tutafpo sac fahk ouinge, ‘Pa inge pwepu in misa lom uh. Simusla ma oalfoko.’
Aftirward he seide to another, And hou myche owist thou? Which answerde, An hundrid coris of whete. And he seide to hym, Take thi lettris, and write foure scoore.
8 Ouinge, leum lun mwet tutafpo kutasrik sac kaksakunul ke inkanek usrnguk ma el oru, mweyen mwet facl se inge arulana yohk usrnguk lalos ke ma elos oru, liki mwet lun kalem uh.” (aiōn g165)
And the lord preiside the baili of wickydnesse, for he hadde do prudentli; for the sones of this world ben more prudent in her generacioun than the sones of liyt. (aiōn g165)
9 Ac Jesus el sifilpa fahk, “Ke ma inge nga fahk nu suwos: orekmakin mwe kasrup lun faclu tuh kowos in konauk mwet kawuk lowos, na ke pacl se lisr, ac fah suliyuk kowos nu in lohm kawil. (aiōnios g166)
And Y seie to you, make ye to you freendis of the ritchesse of wickidnesse, that whanne ye schulen fayle, thei resseyue you in to euerlastynge tabernaclis. (aiōnios g166)
10 Kutena mwet su oaru in ma srik, ac fah oaru pac ke ma yohk; ac kutena mwet su sesuwos in ma srik ac fah sesuwos pac ke ma yohk.
He that is trewe in the leeste thing, is trewe also in the more; and he that is wickid in a litil thing, is wickid also in the more.
11 Kowos fin soaru in karingin mwe kasrup lun faclu, ac ku in lulalfongiyuk kowos fuka in karingin mwe kasrup pwaye uh?
Therfor if ye weren not trewe in the wickid thing of ritchesse, who schal bitake to you that that is verry?
12 Ac kowos fin soaru in karingin ma lun siena mwet, su ac ku in sot ma lowos?
And if ye weren not trewe in othere mennus thing, who schal yyue to you that that is youre?
13 “Wangin mwet kulansap ku in kulansapu leum luo. El ac srunga sie, ac lungse el ngia; el ac pwaye nu sin sie, ac kwase el ngia. Kowos koflana kulansupu God ac mani.”
No seruaunt may serue to twei lordis; for ether he schal hate `the toon, and loue the tothir; ethir he schal drawe to `the toon, and schal dispise the tothir. Ye moun not serue to God and to ritchesse.
14 Ke mwet Pharisee elos lohng ma inge elos isrun Jesus, mweyen elos lungse mani.
But the Farisees, that weren coueytous, herden alle these thingis, and thei scorneden hym.
15 Jesus el fahk nu selos, “Kowos sifacna oru lumowos in suwohs ye mutun mwet uh, tusruk God El etu insiowos. Tuh ma su mwet uh pangon yohk sripa selos, ma inge pilasr ye mutun God.
And he seide to hem, Ye it ben, that iustifien you bifor men; but God hath knowun youre hertis, for that that is hiy to men, is abhomynacioun bifor God.
16 “Ma Sap lal Moses ac ma simusla lun mwet palu uh orekmakinyuk na nwe ke pacl lal John Baptais ah. In pacl sac me, Pweng Wo ke Tokosrai lun God uh fwackyak, ac mwet uh aikusiyak in utyak nu loac.
The lawe and prophetis til to Joon; fro that tyme the rewme of God is euangelisid, and ech man doith violence in to it.
17 Tusruktu, fisrasr tuh kusrao ac faclu in wanginla, liki sie akul srisrik ke sie leta ke Ma Sap uh in wanginla.
Forsothe it is liyter heuene and erthe to passe, than that o titil falle fro the lawe.
18 “Kutena mukul su sisla mutan kial ac payuk nu sin sie pacna mutan, el orek kosro; ac sie mukul su payuk nu sin mutan sisila se, el oayapa orek kosro.
Euery man that forsakith his wijf, and weddith an other, doith letcherie; and he that weddith the wijf forsakun of the hosebonde, doith auowtrie.
19 “Oasr sie mwet kasrup su nukum nuknuk na yohk molo, ac el moul in mut len nukewa.
There was a riche man, and was clothid in purpur, and whit silk, and eete euery dai schynyngli.
20 Na oasr pac sie mwet sukasrup pangpang Lazarus, su manol nuklana ke ruf, ac kwacna utukla el in muta ke mutunoa in lohm sin mwet kasrup sac,
And there was a begger, Lazarus bi name, that lai at his yate ful of bilis,
21 mweyen el finsrak na elan ku in kang kutkut in mongo ma ac putatla liki tepu lun mwet kasrup sac. Kosro ngalngul uh ac tuku pac lohi ruf kacl uh.
and coueitide to be fulfillid of the crummes, that fellen doun fro the riche mannus boord, and no man yaf to hym; but houndis camen, and lickiden hise bilis.
22 Mwet sukasrup sac misa, ac lipufan uh usalla elan tuh muta siskal Abraham ke kufwa inkusrao uh. Mwet kasrup sac misa ac pukpuki el,
And it was don, that the begger diede, and was borun of aungels in to Abrahams bosum. And the riche man was deed also,
23 ac ke el muta in Hades, yen ma el pulakin keok upa nu sel, el ngetak ac liyal Abraham yen loessula, ac Lazarus el muta siskal. (Hadēs g86)
and was biried in helle. And he reiside hise iyen, whanne he was in turmentis, and say Abraham afer, and Lazarus in his bosum. (Hadēs g86)
24 Na el pangyak ac fahk, ‘Papa Abraham! Pakomutuk, ac supwalma Lazarus elan isongya kufinpaol in kof an ac kahlye mutun louk in akoyohuyauk, tuh nga muta in keok lulap in e se inge!’
And he criede, and seide, Fadir Abraham, haue merci on me, and sende Lazarus, that he dippe the ende of his fyngur in watir, to kele my tunge; for Y am turmentid in this flawme.
25 Ac Abraham el fahk, ‘Ma nutik, esam lah pacl kom moul muta fin faclu ma nukewa wo ac fisrasr nu sum, a funu Lazarus el muta in ongoiya ac moul upa. Inge el muta insewowo inse, a kom muta in keok.
And Abraham seide to hym, Sone, haue mynde, for thou hast resseyued good thingis in thi lijf, and Lazarus also yuel thingis; but he is now coumfortid, and thou art turmentid.
26 Sayen ma inge, oasr luf na lulap se srikutelik, pwanang kutena mwet ma ac ke fahsrot ingewot nu yurum ac tia ku in orala, ac wangin pac mwet ac ku in tuku yurum me nu yorosr.’
And in alle these thingis a greet derk place is stablischid betwixe vs and you; that thei that wolen fro hennus passe to you, moun not, nethir fro thennus passe ouer hidur.
27 Na mwet kasrup sac fahk, ‘Fin ouingan nga kwafe sum, Papa Abraham, supwalla Lazarus nu in lohm sin papa tumuk,
And he seide, Thanne Y preie thee, fadir, that thou sende hym in to the hous of my fadir.
28 yen tamulel limekosr luk oasr we. Lela elan som ac sensenkunulos, tuh elos in mau tia tuku nu yen waiok se inge.’
For Y haue fyue britheren, that he witnesse to hem, lest also thei come in to this place of turmentis.
29 Abraham el fahk, ‘Kas lal Moses ac lun mwet palu uh oasr yorolos. Elos in porongo kas lalos an.’
And Abraham seide to him, Thei han Moyses and the prophetis; here thei hem.
30 Mwet kasrup sac fahk, ‘Papa Abraham, srakna sufal ma kom fahk ingan! Tuh fin oasr mwet se moulyak liki misa ac som nu yorolos, na elos fah ku in auliyak ac forla liki ma koluk lalos.’
And he seide, Nay, fadir Abraham, but if ony of deed men go to hem, thei schulen do penaunce.
31 Ac Abraham el fahk, ‘Elos fin tia lohngol Moses ac mwet palu uh, elos ac tia pac lulalfongi finne oasr mwet se moulyak liki misa.’”
And he seide to hym, If thei heren not Moises and prophetis, nethir if ony of deed men rise ayen, thei schulen bileue to hym.
