< Isaiah 5 >

1 Porongo ke nga ac yuk on soko inge, On soko lun kawuk luk ac ima in grape lal: Oasr ima in grape se lun kawuk luk Fin soko inging wo fohk we.
I will sing to my beloved the canticle of my cousin concerning his vineyard. My beloved had a vineyard on a hill in a fruitful place.
2 El pukanak fohk uh ac sisla eot kac; El yukwiya oa in grape na wowo. El musaela sie nien soan, Pukanak sie luf mwe fut grape loac. El soano in mwesrla grape uh, Tusruktu grape nukewa mukol.
And he fenced it in, and picked the stones out of it, and planted it with the choicest vines, and built a tower in the midst thereof, and set up a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it broutht forth wild grapes.
3 Na kawuk luk el fahk, “Kowos mwet su muta in Jerusalem ac Judah, kowos in nununku inmasrlok ac ima in grape luk.
And now, O ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and ye men of Juda, judge between me and my vineyard.
4 Mea, oasr pac ma enenu in orek ma nga tia orala? Na efu ku fokla tuh grape mukol, ac tia grape wowo ma nga finsrak nu kac?
What is there that I ought to do more to my vineyard, that I have not done to it?
5 “Pa inge ma nga ac oru nu ke ima se luk inge: nga ac kunausla kalkal kac ac rakinya pot uh, tuh kosro lemnak uh in ku in utyak, kangla ac lolongya.
And now I will shew you wnat I will do to my vineyard. I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be wasted: I will break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down.
6 Nga ac fuhlela in kupoi ke mah. Nga ac tia kifwi sroa ku imon infohk we; ac nga ac fuhlela kokul ac pulah in kupoiya. Nga ac sapkin pac nu ke pukunyeng uh in tia fuhlela af.”
And I will make it desolate: it shall not be pruned, and it shall not be digged: but briers and thorns shall come up: and I will command the clouds to rain no rain upon it.
7 Israel pa ima lun LEUM GOD Kulana; Mwet Judah pa sak ma El yukwiya. El tupan elos in oru ma wo, A elos orek akmas. El tupan elos in oru ma suwohs, A el lohng psren mwet akkeokyeyuk ke elos wowoyak in suk nununku suwohs.
For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel: and the man of Juda, his pleasant plant: and I looked that he should do judgment, and behold iniquity: and do justice, and behold a cry.
8 We nu suwos! Pusla lohm ac ima kowos eisla in weang ma oasr yuruwos tari. Ac tia paht ac fah wanginla acn nu sin kutena mwet i n muta we, na kowos ac fah mukela muta in facl sac.
Woe to you that join house to house and lay field to field, even to the end of the place: shall you alone dwell in the midst of the earth?
9 Nga lohng LEUM GOD Kulana El fahk, “Lohm lulap wolana inge nukewa ac fah pisala ac oan musalla.
These things are in my ears, saith the Lord of hosts: unless many great and fair houses shall become desolate, without an inhabitant.
10 Ima in grape ma kap ke acre limekosr ac fah orala gallon na limekosr ke wain. Bushel singoul ke fita uh ac fah orala bushel sefanna ke wheat,”
For ten acres of vineyard shall yield one little measure, and thirty bushels of seed shall yield three bushels.
11 We nu suwos! Kowos toang tukakek ke lotutang na mutawauk nimnim, ac ke ekela kowos nimnim paht ac arulana sruhila.
Woe to you that rise up early in the morning to follow drunkenness, and to drink till the evening, to be inflamed with wine.
12 Oasr harp ac flute ac tambourine, oayapa wain ke kufwa lowos. Tusruktu kowos tia nunku ke LEUM GOD, ac kowos tia kalem ke ma El oru.
The harp, and the lyre, and the timbrel, and the pipe, and wine are in your feasts: and the work of the Lord you regard not, nor do you consider the works of his hands.
13 Ouinge kowos ac fah utukla nu in sruoh. Mwet kol lowos ac fah misa ke masrinsral, ac mwet ngia ac fah misa ke malu.
Therefore is my people led away captive, because they had not knowledge, and their nobles have perished with famine, and their multitude were dried up with thirst.
14 Facl sin mwet misa uh mangelik in kangulosla. el ac ukumya mwet leum lun Jerusalem wi un mwet pilasr puspis ma arulana wohwon. (Sheol h7585)
Therefore hath hell enlarged her soul, and opened her mouth without any bounds, and their strong ones, and their people, and their high and glorious ones shall go down into it. (Sheol h7585)
15 Mwet nukewa ac fah mwekinla, ac elos nukewa su inse fulat ac fah akpusiselyeyuk.
And man shall be brought down, and man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be brought low.
16 Tusruktu LEUM GOD Kulana El akkalemye fulatlana lal ke orekma suwoswos lal, ac El fahkak mutal lal ke El nununku mwet lal.
And the Lord of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and the holy God shall be sanctified in justice.
17 In acn musalla in siti uh, sheep fusr fah mongo mah, ac nani fusr fah konauk acn in mongla.
And the lambs shall feed according to their order, and strangers shall eat the deserts turned into fruitfulness.
18 We nu suwos! Kowos tia ku in kaingla liki sucl in kikiap ma kaprikowosi, pwanang kowos amakin ma koluk lowos yen nukewa.
Woe to you that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as the rope of a cart.
19 Kowos fahk, “Lela LEUM GOD Elan aksaye oru ma El fahk mu El ac oru, kut in tari liye. Lela God mutal lun Israel in oru ako lal; tuh kut in ku in kalem ke nunak lal.”
That say: Let him make haste, and let his work come quickly, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel come, that we may know it.
20 We nu suwos! Kowos pangon ma koluk uh wo, ac pangon ma wo uh koluk. Kowos ekulla lohsr uh nu ke kalem, ac kalem nu ke lohsr. Kowos oru ma mukol in emwem, ac ma emwem in mukol.
Woe to you that call evil good, and good evil: that put darkness for light, and light for darkness: that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.
21 We nu suwos! Kowos nunku mu kowos lalmwetmet ac arulana sumat.
Woe to you that rue wise in your own eyes, and prudent in your own conceits.
22 We nu suwos! Kowos su ku ke nim wain! Kowos pulaik ac wangin sangeng lowos ke pacl karyak mwe nimnim!
Woe to you that are mighty to drink wine, and stout men at drunkenness.

That justify the wicked for gifts, and take away the justice of the just from him.

Therefore as the tongue of the fire devoureth the stubble, and the heat of the dame consumeth it: so shall their root be as ashes, and their bud shall go up as dust: for they have cast away the law of the Lord of hosts, and have blasphemed the word of the Holy One of Israel.
25 LEUM GOD El kasrkusrak sin mwet lal, ac El asroela paol in kalyaelos. Eol uh ac fah kusrusryak, ac monin mwet misa ac fah oanna inkanek uh oana kutkut. Nwe ouinge, mulat lun LEUM GOD soenna safla, a paol ac srakna asroeyukla in oru kaiyuk lal.
Therefore is the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, and he hath stretched out his hand upon them, and struck them: and the mountains were troubled, and their carcasses became as dung in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
26 LEUM GOD El kolak sie akul in pangon sie mutunfacl yen loessula. El oselos in tuku liki saflaiyen faclu. Ac liye, elos arulana sa in tuku!
And he will lift up a sign to the nations afar off, and will whistle to them from the ends of the earth: and behold they shall come with speed swiftly.
27 Wangin selos totola, wangin selos tukulkul, elos tiana mwetkeli ku motul. Pel lalos tiana foroti, mwe kapir fahluk lalos tiana wotelik.
There is none that shall faint, nor labour among them: they shall not slumber nor sleep, neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken.
28 Sukan pisr natulos kosroh, ac mwe pisr natulos akola in pisrikyuk. Falken horse natulos keke oana eot, ac wheel in chariot natulos for oana eng fohru.
Their arrows are sharp, and all their bows are bent. The hoofs of their horses shall be like the hint, and their wheels like the violence of a tempest.
29 Mwet mweun lalos ngutngut oana lion ma sruokya ma nalos ac usla nu yen wangin ma ac ku in eisla selos.
Their roaring like that of a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea they shall roar, and take hold of the prey, and they shall keep fast hold of it, and there shall be none to deliver it.
30 Ke len sac ac tuku, pusraclos ac fah ngirngir fin acn Israel oana pusren noa meoa. Liyewin facl se inge! Lohsr ac fosrnga mukena! Pukunyeng uh kosrala kalem.
And they shall make a noise against them that day, like the roaring of the sea; we shall look towards the land, and behold darkness of tribulation, and the light is darkened with the mist thereof.
