< Hebrew 4 >

1 Wulela se lun God inge ma pac nu sesr, tuh kut in ku in utyak ac mongla yorol. Ke ma inge lela kut in karinganang tuh in wangin sie suwos tia wi sun mongla sac.
Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 Tuh kut lohng tari Pweng Wo uh oapana elos. Tusruktu wangin sripa nu selos mweyen ke elos lohng ah, elos tiana lulalfongi.
For to us was the gospel preached, as well as to them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 Tuh oasr fahkiyen len se akitkosr ke sie verse in Ma Simusla, fahk mu: “Ke len se akitkosr, God El aksafyela ma El oru ac mongla liki orekma lal.”
For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 Oasr pac fahkiyen ma se inge in kutu verse tok, fahk mu: “Elos ac fah tiana utyak nu in facl se ma nga tuh akoo in sang mongla nu selos we.”
And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Elos su tuh lohng Pweng Wo sac meet, elos tiana eis mongla sac, mweyen elos tia lulalfongi. Ouinge God El fuhlela tuh in oasr mwet saya su ac fah eis mongla sac.
Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7 Ma inge akkalemyeyuk ke God El sifil oakiya sie pacna len su pangpang “Misenge.” Tukun yac puspis, El sifil kaskas kac in kas lal David, oana ma nga fahk tari: “Kowos fin lohng pusren God misenge, Kowos in tia akupaye insiowos.”
Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 Joshua el funu sang mongla se ma God El wulela kac inge nu sin mwet uh, God El lukun tia sifil sramsramkin tok ke sie pac len.
For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 Tusruktu ke ouinge uh, ac srakna oasr pac mongla se nu sin mwet lun God oana mongla lun God ke len se akitkosr ah.
There remains therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 Tuh kutena mwet su eis mongla se ma God El wulela kac inge, el ac fah mongla liki orekma lal, oana ke God El mongla liki orekma lal uh.
For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Ke ma inge, lela kut in oru kuiyasr nufon in eis mongla sac, tuh in fah wangin sie sesr tia orala oana elos, ke sripen wangin lulalfongi lalos.
Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Wangin ma ku in wikla liki God; ma orekla nukewa fin faclu oan lemtulauk ye mutal. Ac kut nukewa fah enenu in fahkkutyak nu sel.
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Oasr sie Mwet Tol Fulatlana lasr — Jesus, Wen nutin God — su som tari nu inkusrao, yen God El oasr we. Ke ma inge, lela kut in sruokya ku lulalfongi se su kut fahkak kac.
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 Mwet Tol Fulat se lasr inge el tia nikin pulakinyen pakomuta nu ke mwe munas lasr uh, mweyen tuh srifeyuk el in ouiya nukewa ma srifeyuk kut kac uh, a el tiana oru ma koluk.
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Ke ma inge, lela kut in pulaik in utyak nu ye mutun tron lun God, yen lungkulang oasr we, ac kut ac fah eis pakoten ac konauk lungkulang in kasrekut ke pacl kut enenu.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
