< Galatia 5 >

1 Inge kut mwet sukosok — Christ el aksukosokyekutla! Ke ma inge, kowos in tu ku oana mwet sukosok, ac nik kowos sifilpa folokla nu ke moul lun mwet kohs.
stand firm then, and do not be again entangled in a yoke of bondage.
2 Porongeyu! Nga, Paul, fahk nu suwos lah kowos fin lela in kosreyukla kowos, kalmac pa wangin na pwaye sripen Christ nu suwos.
Listen to me! I, Paul, declare to you that if you are to continue to follow the rite of circumcision, Christ will be no profit to you.
3 Aok, nga sifilpa sensenkakin kutena mukul su sifacna eisalang tuh elan kosreyukla, lah el ac enenu in akfalye ma sap nukewa.
I solemnly testify to every man who submits to circumcision that he obligates himself to keep the whole Law.
4 Kowos su nunku mu akos Ma Sap uh pa mwe aksuwosye kowos nu sin God, kowos sifacna srikowosla liki Christ. Kowos muta loes liki lungkulang lun God.
If you are being justified by law, you are cut off from Christ; you are fallen away from grace.
5 Funu kut, finsrak lasr pa God Elan aksuwosye kut nu yorol ke lulalfongi lasr; ac kut tupan ku lun Ngun lun God in kasrekut.
But we are not, for we through the Spirit are eagerly waiting by faith for a hope of righteousness (a hope well founded);
6 Tuh ke kut kupasryang nu sin Christ Jesus, wangin sripen kosrala ku tia kosrala, a ma se ma yohk uh pa lulalfongi na, su orekma ke lungse.
because in Christ neither circumcision has any value, nor uncircumcision, but faith which works through love.
7 Orekma lowos tuh arulana wo. Na su oru kowos in tila akos ma pwaye? El kifuskowosla fuka?
You were running your race nobly. Who hindered you from obeying the truth?
8 Tia ku in God, su pangon kowos nu yorol.
The influence brought to bear does not come from him who is calling you.
9 Oana soakas se ma fahk, “Kitin mwe pulol na srisrik ku in oru srukwal nufon se in pulolak.”
A little leaven is leavening the whole lump.
10 Ke sripen kut kewa ma sefanna yurin Leum, nga lulalfongi lah kowos ac tia ekla liki nunak luk, ac el na su aktafongyekowos, God El fah kai.
As for me, I am fully trusting you in the Lord that you will be no otherwise minded; but he who is trying to unsettle you will have to bear his punishment, whoever he may be.
11 A funu nga, mwet lili, nga fin srakna luti ac fahk mu enenu in kosrala, na efu ku srakna kalyeiyuk nga? Ma inge fin ma pwaye, na luti luk ke sakseng lun Christ ac tia aktukulkulye mwet.
But I, brothers, if I "still preach circumcision," why am I still persecuted? Then surely the stumbling-block of the Cross has ceased to be an obstacle!
12 Nga kena tuh mwet su aklokoalokye kowos uh in oru na nwe ke na elos sifacna tahla acn ten kaclos!
Would to God that those who are trying to unsettle you would even have themselves mutilated.
13 A funu kowos, mwet lili, pangonyuk kowos nu ke sukosok. Tusruktu nikmet oru sukosok lowos in lela tuh lung lun ikwa in leum fowos; a ke lungse, kowos in kulansupu sie sin sie.
For you, brothers, were called for freedom; only do not make your freedom an excuse for self-indulgence, but in love enslave yourselves to one another.
14 Tuh ma sap nukewa akfalyeyuk ke ma sap sefanna: “Kom in lungse mwet tulan lom oana ke kom lungse kom sifacna.”
For the whole Law has been fulfilled in this one precept, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
15 A kowos fin anwuk oana kosro lemnak uh in ngalisya ac kangla sie sin sie, taran tuh kowos in tia akwanginyekowosla kewa.
But if you are always biting and devouring one another, take heed lest you be utterly consumed one by another.
16 Ma nga fahk uh pa inge: sang tuh Ngun Mutal in kol moul lowos, a in tia lung lun ikwa.
This is my meaning. Let your steps be guided by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
For the desire of the flesh is against that of the Spirit, and the desire of the Spirit is against that of the flesh, for they two are antagonistic, so that you may not do those things that you wish.
18 Ngun el fin kol kowos, na Ma Sap uh tia leum fowos.
But if you are habitually led by the Spirit you are not under law.
19 Orekma lun ikwa uh arulana kalem: pa ke kosro, lumah fohkfok, ac ouiya sufal inmasrlon mukul ac mutan;
Now the works of the flesh are manifest; such, for instance, as fornication, impurity, indecency,
20 alu nu sin ma sruloala, inutnut, asrungai, amei, lemta, kasrkusrak, nunku kac sifacna, sraclik ac srikasrak kas,
idol-worship, sorcery, quarrels, party-spirit, jealousy, passionate anger, intrigues, factions, sectarianism,
21 sok, sruhi, wowon, ac ma ouinge. Nga sensenkakin kowos inge oana ke nga oru meet: elos su oru ma inge fah tia usrui Tokosrai lun God.
envy, drunkenness, revelings, and things like these. I tell you beforehand, as I have already told you, that those who practise such sins shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 A fahko lun Ngun pa lungse, engan, misla, mongfisrasr, kulang, orekma wo, oaru,
But the harvest-fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long- suffering, kindness, goodness, fidelity, gentleness, and self-control;
23 pusisel, sifacna leum fac. Wangin ma sap lain ma inge.
against such there is no law.
24 Elos su ma lun Christ Jesus, elos uniya tari moul in ikwa lalos, wi ma nukewa ma ikwalos mwel.
And those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and appetites.
25 Ngun pa ase moul lasr, ouinge enenu pac tuh Ngun in kol moul lasr.
If we are living by the Spirit, let us also keep step in the Spirit.
26 Kut enenu in tia konkin, akangonye sie sin sie, ku sok sin sie sin sie.
Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
