< Ezekiel 31 >

1 Ke len se meet in malem aktolu ke yac aksingoul sie in sruoh lasr, LEUM GOD El kaskas nu sik ac fahk,
Then it came about in the eleventh year, in the third month, on the first day of the month, that the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
2 “Kom, mwet sukawil moul la, fahkang nu sin tokosra lun Egypt ac mwet lal nukewa: Fuka lupan ku lom! Mea nga ac ku in lumwe kom nu kac?
“Son of man, say to Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and to his multitudes around him, 'In your greatness, who are you like?
3 Kom oana soko sak cedar in acn Lebanon Ma lesak kac uh kato, ac arulana yohk acn luliya. Soko sak arulana fulat, ac fiya kac sun pukunyeng uh.
Behold! Assyria was a cedar in Lebanon with beautiful branches, giving shade to the forest, and the tallest in height, and the branches formed its treetop.
4 Oasr kof in akkapye, Ac infacl soror ye fohk uh in akmongoi. Infacl inge aksroksrokye acn ma sak soko inge kapak we Ac supwala infacl srisrik nu ke sak nukewa insak uh.
Many waters made it tall; the deep waters made it huge. Rivers flowed all around its area, for their channels stretched out to all the trees in the field.
5 Ke sripen wo fahsriyen kof uh nu kac El kapak loes liki sak nukewa saya. Lah kac uh kapak loes ac lahlah.
Its great height was more than any of the other trees in the field, and its branches became very many; its branches grew long because of many waters as they grew.
6 Kain in won nukewa orala ahng lalos in lesak uh, Ac kosro lemnak uh oswe natu natulos ye lulin sak uh. Mutunfacl nukewa mongla ye lulin sak soko inge.
Every bird of the heavens nested in its branches, while every living thing of the field gave birth to its young under its foliage. All of the many nations lived under its shade.
7 Fuka oaskuiyen sak soko ah — Kapak arulana fulat, ac loes lah kac. Okah kac uh som nwe ke sun kof ye fohk uh.
For it was beautiful in its greatness and the length of its branches, for its roots were in many waters.
8 Wangin sak cedar in ima lun God ma ku in lumweyuk nu kac. Soenna oasr sak fir ma lahlah oana sak soko ah, Ac lah ke sak saya nukewa tia wo oana lah ke sak soko inge. Wangin pac sak in ima lun God ma kato oana.
Cedars in the garden of God could not equal it. None among the cypress trees matched its branches, and the plane tree could not equal its boughs. There was no other tree in the garden of God that was like it in its beauty.
9 Nga pa orala in arulana oasku ac lahlah. Sak nukewa in Eden, ima lun God, ke ouiyalos sak soko inge.
I made it beautiful with its many branches and all the trees of Eden that were in the garden of God envied it.
10 “Inge, nga, LEUM GOD Fulatlana, ac fahk nu sum ma ac sikyak nu ke sak soko ah, su kapak nwe ke na sun pukunyeng uh. Ke el kapak fulat, nunak lal uh fulatak pac.
Therefore the Lord Yahweh says this: Because it was tall in height, and it set its treetop between its branches, it lifted up its heart because of its height.
11 Ouinge nga sisella ac eisalang nu sin sie leum in siena mutunfacl. El ac fah oru nu sin sak soko ah fal nu ke orekma koluk lal.
I have given it into the hand of a mighty one of the nations, to deal with it according to what its wickedness deserves. I have thrown it out.
12 Mwet sulallal in mutunfacl saya elos ac fah pakiya, ac som liki. Lah kac, wi lah srisrik uh, ac fah putati nu fineol nukewa ac infahlfal nukewa in facl sac. Mutunfacl nukewa ma tuh muta ye lulin sak uh elos ac fahsrelik.
Foreigners who were the terror of all the nations cut it off and left it to die. Its branches fell on the mountains and all the valleys, and its boughs lay broken in all the ravines of the land. Then all the nations on earth came out from under its shade and they went away from it.
13 Won yen engyeng uh ac fah sohkma ac tuhwi fin sak ikori soko ah, ac kosro lemnak uh ac fah fahsr fin lesak uh.
All the birds of the sky rested on the trunk of the fallen tree, and every animal of the field came to its branches.
14 Ke ma inge, in pacl se ingela, wangin sak ac ku in sifil kapak fulat ac sun pukunyeng uh oana fulatiyen sak soko ah, finne aksroksrokyeyuk wo. Sak nukewa ac fah misa oana mwet uh, ac welulosyang su som tari nu in facl lun mwet misa.”
This happened so that no other trees that grow by the waters will lift up their foliage to the height of the tallest trees, and that no other trees that grow beside the waters will reach up to that height. All of them have been assigned to death, to the earth below, among the children of humanity, with those that go down to the pit.
15 Pa inge ma LEUM GOD Fulatlana El fahk: “Ke len se ma sak soko uh ac som nu in facl sin mwet misa, nga fah oru tuh kof ye fohk uh in afunla sak soko ah, in oana sie akul in asor. Nga ac fah sikulya infacl uh, ac tia lela kutena unon srisrik in sororla. Mweyen sak soko inge misa tari, nga ac fah oru lohsr matoltol in luliya fineol in acn Lebanon, ac oru tuh sak nukewa insak uh in uli. (Sheol h7585)
The Lord Yahweh says this: On the day when the cedar went down to Sheol I brought mourning to the earth. I covered the deep waters over it, and I held back the ocean waters. I kept back the great waters, and I brought mourning to Lebanon for him. So all the trees of the field mourned because of it. (Sheol h7585)
16 Ke pacl se nga ac supweya sak soko uh nu in facl sin mwet misa uh, ngirla lun ikori lal uh ac fah osrokak mutunfacl uh. Sak nukewa in Eden, ac sak sacnsan nukewa ma aksroksrokyeyuk wo in acn Lebanon ma som tari nu ten ye faclu, ac fah engankin lah ikori. (Sheol h7585)
I brought shuddering to the nations at the sound of its downfall, when I threw it down to Sheol with those who went down into the pit. So I comforted all the trees of Eden in the lowest parts of the earth. These had been the choicest and best trees of Lebanon; the trees that drank the waters. (Sheol h7585)
17 Elos ac fah wi sak soko inge som nu in facl sin mwet misa, in tuh weang sak nukewa ma ikori tari. Na mwet nukewa su muta ye lulin sak soko ah, ac fahsrelik nu in facl saya uh. (Sheol h7585)
For they also went down with it to Sheol, to the ones who had been killed by the sword. These were its strong arm, those nations who had lived in its shade. (Sheol h7585)
18 “Sak soko inge pa tokosra lun acn Egypt ac mwet nukewa lal. Wangin sak in ima Eden ma fulat ac kato oana sak soko uh. Tusruktu inge el ac oana sak Eden uh, ac som nu in facl sin mwet misa, ac weang mwet su tia etu God, ac elos su anwukla ke mweun. Nga, LEUM GOD Fulatlana, pa fahk ma inge.”
Which of the trees in Eden was your equal in glory and greatness? For you will be brought down with the trees of Eden to the lowest parts of the earth among the uncircumcised; you will live with those who were killed by the sword.' This is Pharaoh and all of his multitudes—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.”
