< Ephesus 2 >

1 In pacl meet ah kowos misa in ngun ke sripen seakosten lowos ac ke ma koluk lowos.
And so God has given life to you Gentiles also, who were once dead in your trespasses and sins,
2 Ke pacl sac, kowos tuh fahsr tukun ouiya koluk lun faclu; kowos tuh akos leum koluk su kol ngun koluk yen engyeng uh, ngun su leumi mwet su seakos God in pacl inge. (aiōn g165)
in which you passed your lives after the way of this world, under the sway of the Prince of the Powers of the Air, the spirit who is now working among the sons of disobedience. (aiōn g165)
3 Pwayeiya uh, kut nukewa oana elos in moulkin moul in mwet. Kut tuh ukwe na ma lungse lun manosr ac nunak lasr. In ouiyen moul lasr uh kut ac nuna eis mwatan kasrkusrak lun God, oana mwet nukewa.
And among them we all once passed our lives, indulging the passions of our flesh, carrying out the dictates of our senses and temperament, and were by nature the children of wrath like all the rest.
4 Tusruktu yoklana pakoten lun God, ac lungse lal nu sesr arulana yohk,
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,
5 pwanang ke kut misa in ngun ke seakos lasr, El akmoulyekutyak oana ke El akmoulyalak Christ. Kowos moliyukla ke lungkulang lun God.
even while we were dead in our trespasses, made us live together with Christ (it is by grace you have been saved).
6 Ke kut kupasryang nu sin Christ Jesus, God El akmoulyekutyak yurin Christ liki ngunin misa, tuh kut fah welul leumi acn inkusrao.
together with him He raised us from the dead, and together with Christ Jesus seated us in the heavenly realm,
7 El oru ma inge in akkalemye nu ke fwil nukewa fahsru, kasrpen lungkulang lulap lal, ke lungse lal su El akkalemye in Christ Jesus. (aiōn g165)
in order that he might show to the ages to come the amazing riches of his grace by his goodness to us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn g165)
8 Tuh ke lungkulang lun God, kowos moliyukla ke lulalfongi. Tia ma kowos sifacna oru, a mwe kite sin God me.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is God’s gift.
9 Ke sripen tia ma ke orekma lun mwet, na wangin mwet in ku in konkin kac.
It is not of works, so that any one can boast of it;
10 God El orekutla inge tuh ke kut kupasr nu sin Christ Jesus kut in oru ma wo, fal nu ke lemlem lal nu sesr ma El akola nu sesr in oru.
for we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for good deeds, which God predestined us to make our daily way of life.
11 Kowos in tia mulkunla lah ke kowos isusla kowos mwet sayen mwet Jew. Mwet Jew elos pangon kowos “mwet tia kosrala,” ac elos pangnolos sifacna “mwet kosrala” (sruk “kosrala” pa ouiya se na ma mukul lalos uh oru nu ke manolos in akilenya lah elos mwet lun God.)
Do not forget then, that you Gentiles in the flesh, who are called "uncircumcision" by the "circumcision" made in flesh by man’s hand,
12 In pacl sac wanginna etu lowos ke Christ. Kowos tuh mwet sac ac tia oaoa kowos yurin mwet sulosolla lun God. Wangin ip lowos ke wulela lun God su El tuh oakiya in wuleang lal nu sin mwet lal. Kowos moul muta fin faclu ke wangin finsrak lowos, ac wangin kupasr lowos nu sin God.
were once upon a time without Christ, aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, strangers to the covenants of the Promise, without hope and without God in the world.
13 Meet kowos muta loesla, a inge ke kowos kupasryang nu sin Christ Jesus, kowos muta apkuran, ke sripen srahn Christ.
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near in the blood of Christ.
14 Tuh Christ sifacna pa akmisye inmasrlosr ke el orani mwet Jew ac mwet sayen mwet Jew in ma sefannala. Ma se ma tuh sreloselik ac oru elos in mwet lokoalok, Christ el kunausla ke manol sifacna ke el misa fin sakseng.
For he is our Peace, who has made the two of us Jew and Gentile one, and has broken down the party-wall of partition between us.
15 Christ el sisla Ma Sap lun mwet Jew ac oakwuk puspis kac tuh elan orani kain in mwet luo inge nu ke sie u sasu su kupasryang nu sel, na ouinge oasr misla.
In his own body he abolished the cause of our enmity, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, in order to make the two into one new man in himself, so making peace.
16 Misa lun Christ fin sakseng pa kunausla asrungai lalos; ac ke sripen sakseng el orani kain in mwet luo inge nu ke mano sefanna, ac folokunulosme nu sin God.
Thus he reconciled us both in one body to God by his cross, on which he slew our enmity.
17 Ouinge Christ el tuku ac fahkak Pweng Wo ke misla nu sin mwet nukewa — nu suwos mwet sayen mwet Jew su muta loesla liki God meet, ac nu sesr mwet Jew su muta apkuran nu sel.
So he came preaching "Peace" to you Gentiles who were afar off, and "Peace" to us Jews who were near;
18 Ke sripen Christ, kut nukewa — mwet Jew ac mwet sayen mwet Jew — ku in tukeni in Ngun sefanna nu ye mutun Papa.
because it is through him that we both have access in one spirit to the Father.
19 Ouinge kowos su mwet sayen mwet Jew tia sifil mwet sac ku mwet takusrkusr; a kowos mwet wien mwet lun God ac mwet in sou lun God.
Take notice then that no longer are you strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household.
20 Kowos wi pac musaiyukyak fin pwelung su oakwuki sin mwet sap ac mwet palu, ac Christ Jesus sifacna pa eot insruwasrik.
You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner-stone.
21 El pa sruokani musa se inge nufon nu sie, ac oru in kapkapak nu ke sie tempul mutal, ma kisakinyukyang nu sin Leum God.
In him the whole building, fitly framed together, rises into a holy temple in the Lord;
22 Ke sripen akupasri lowos nu sin Christ, kowos wi pac musaiyukyak yorolos inge nukewa, nu ke sie nien muta lun Ngun lun God.
and in him you, too, are continuously built together for a dwelling- place of God through his Spirit.
