Luo Chronicle 29
1 Hezekiah el tokosrala fin acn Judah ke el yac longoul limekosr, ac el leum in Jerusalem ke yac longoul eu. Nina kial pa Abijah, acn natul Zechariah.
And, Hezekiah, began to reign when he was twenty-five years old, and, twenty-nine years, reigned he in Jerusalem, —and, the name of his mother, was Abijah, daughter of Zechariah.
2 El fahsr tukun srikasrak lal Tokosra David, papa matu tumal, ac el oru ma LEUM GOD El insewowo kac.
And he did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, —according to all that, David his father, had done.
3 In malem se meet ke yac se tukun Hezekiah el tokosrala, el sifil ikasla mutunoa lun Tempul, ac sap in akwoyeyukla.
He, in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of Yahweh, and repaired them.
4 El solani sie un mwet tol ac mwet Levi ke nien tukeni se layen kutulap in Tempul,
And he brought in the priests, and the Levites, —and gathered them together in the broadway on the east;
5 ac kaskas nu selos we. El fahk, “Kowos mwet Levi, akmutalye kowos ac aknasnasyela Tempul lun LEUM GOD lun papa tomowos. Sisla liki Tempul ma nukewa ma akfohkfokye.
and said unto them, Hear me, O Levites! Now, hallow yourselves, and hallow the house of Yahweh, God of your fathers, and take forth the impure thing out of the holy place.
6 Papa matu tumasr elos tiana pwaye nu sin LEUM GOD lasr, ac elos oru ma El tia insewowo kac. Elos ngetla lukel ac fahsr liki yen El muta we.
For our fathers have acted unfaithfully and done the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh our God, and have forsaken him, -and have turned round their faces from the habitation of Yahweh, and have offered their backs.
7 Elos kaliya mutunoa lun Tempul ac fuhlela lam we in kunla. Elos tia akosak mwe keng ku kisakin mwe kisa firir in Tempul lun God lun Israel.
Moreover they have shut up the doors of the porch, and have quenched the lamps, and, incense, have they not burned, -and, ascending-sacrifice, have they not caused to go up in the holy place, unto the God of Israel.
8 Ke sripa inge, LEUM GOD El kasrkusrak sin Judah ac Jerusalem, ac ma El oru nu selos arulana mwe lut ac mwe aksangeng nu sin mwet nukewa. Kowos sifacna liye ma inge ke motowos.
Thus hath it come to pass, that, the wrath of Yahweh, hath been upon Judah and Jerusalem, —and he hath delivered them up as a terror and as an astonishment and as hissing, even as, ye, can see with your own eyes.
9 Papa tumasr elos anwuki ke mweun, ac utukla mutan kiasr ac tulik natusr nu in sruoh.
And lo! our fathers have fallen by the sword, and, our sons and our daughters and our wives, are in captivity for this.
10 “Inge nga akola in orala sie wulela yurin LEUM GOD lun Israel, tuh Elan tia sifil kasrkusrak sesr.
Now, is it near my heart, to solemnise a covenant unto Yahweh, God of Israel, —that he may turn from him the glow of his anger.
11 Wen nutik, nik kowos sisla pacl. Kowos pa LEUM GOD El sulela in akosak mwe keng nu sel, ac in kol mwet uh in alu nu sel.”
My sons! now, do not be faulty, —for, of you, hath Yahweh made choice, to stand before him, and to wait upon him, and to be his attendants and burners of incense.
12 Na mwet Levi inge elos tuyak: Liki sou lulap lal Kohath: Mahath wen natul Amasai, ac Joel wen natul Azariah Liki sou lulap lal Merari: Kish wen natul Abdi, ac Azariah wen natul Jehallelel Liki sou lulap lal Gershon: Joah wen natul Zimmah, ac Eden wen natul Joah
Then arose the Levites—Mahath son of Amasai, and Joel son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites, and, of the sons of Merari, Kish son of Abdi, and Azariah son of Jehallelel, —and, of the Gershonites, Joah son of Zimmah, and Eden son of Joah;
13 Liki sou lulap lal Elizaphan: Shimri ac Jeuel Liki sou lulap lal Asaph: Zechariah ac Mattaniah
and, of the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeiel, —and, of the sons of Asaph, Zechariah, and Mattaniah;
14 Liki sou lulap lal Heman: Jehuel ac Shimei Liki sou lulap lal Jeduthun: Shemaiah ac Uzziel
and, of the sons of Heman, Jehiel and Shimei, —and, of the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah, and Uzziel;
15 Mwet inge elos solani mwet Levi wialos, ac elos nukewa aknasnasyalos sifacna. Na elos oru oana ma tokosra el sapkin nu selos, ac elos mutawauk in oru Tempul uh in nasnas, fal nu ke Ma Sap lun LEUM GOD.
and they gathered together their brethren, who hallowed themselves, and came in according to the command of the king, in the things of Yahweh, —to purify the house of Yahweh.
16 Mwet tol elos utyak nu in Tempul in aknasnasyela, ac ma nukewa we ma tia nasnas elos usla liki Tempul nu ke nien tukeni likinum in Tempul. Na mwet Levi elos us ma inge nukewa we lac nu Infahlfal Kidron likin siti uh.
So the priests entered into the inner part of the house of Yahweh, to make purification, and they brought out every unclean thing which they found in the temple of Yahweh, into the court of the house of Yahweh, —where the Levites received it, to carry it forth to the Kidron ravine outside.
17 Orekma se inge mutawauk ke len se meet ke malem se meet, ac ke len akoalkosr elos aksafyela ma nukewa, weang pac infukil in utyak nu in Tempul. Na elos sifil orekma len oalkosr toko, nwe ke len aksingoul onkosr ke malem sac tuh elos in akoo Tempul nu ke alu.
And they began, on the first of the first month, to hallow, —and, on the eighth day of the month, they came to the porch of Yahweh, so they hallowed the house of Yahweh in eight days, —and, on the sixteenth day of the first month, they finished.
18 Mwet Levi elos fahkak koanon orekma lalos nu sel Tokosra Hezekiah. Elos fahk, “Kut aknasnasyela tari acn nukewa in Tempul, weang pac loang in orek kisa, tepu neinyen bread mutal, ac kufwen mwe orekma nukewa.
Then came they in unto Hezekiah the king, and said, We have purified all the house of Yahweh, —the altar of ascending-sacrifice, and all the utensils thereof, and the table for setting in array, and all the utensils thereof.
19 Kut oayapa folokonma kufwa nukewa ma Tokosra Ahaz el usla ke pacl ma el tuh tia pwaye nu sin LEUM GOD, ac kut sifil akmutalyela nufon. Ma inge nukewa oasr mutun loang lun LEUM GOD.”
And, all the utensils which King Ahaz in his reign rejected when he acted unfaithfully, have we made ready and hallowed, —and, there they are, before the altar of Yahweh.
20 Tokosra Hezekiah el sulaklak na pangoneni mwet kol lun siti uh, ac elos tukeni som nu ke Tempul.
So Hezekiah the king rose up early, and gathered together the rulers of the city, —and went up to the house of Yahweh.
21 Elos srukak cow mukul itkosr, sheep itkosr, sheep fusr itkosr, ac nani itkosr in mwe kisa in aknasnasye ma koluk lun sou in leum uh ac mwet Judah, ac in aknasnasye Tempul. Na tokosra el fahk nu sin mwet tol, su ma in sou lal Aaron, in orekmakin kosro inge in mwe kisa fin loang uh.
And they brought in seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven young sheep, and seven he-goats for bearing sin, for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Judah, —and he bade the sons of Aaron, the priests, cause them to ascend upon the altar of Yahweh.
22 Mwet tol elos uniya cow mukul uh meet, na sheep uh toko, na fah sheep fusr, ac elos aksroksrokye loang uh ke srahn ma inge ke kais sie pacl ma kisaiyuk kosro inge.
So they slaughtered the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and dashed it against the altar, —and they slaughtered the rams, and dashed the blood against the altar, and slaughtered the young sheep, and dashed the blood against the altar.
23 Tukun ma inge nukewa elos usla nani uh nu yorol tokosra ac mwet ma wi alu uh, ac elos filiya paolos fin nani inge.
And they brought near the he-goats for bearing sin, before the king, and the convocation, —and they leaned their hands upon them;
24 Na mwet tol elos uniya nani uh, ac ukuiya srah kac nu fin loang uh tuh in mwe kisa nu ke eela ma koluk lun mwet nukewa, mweyen tokosra el sap tuh mwe kisa firir, ac mwe kisa in eela ma koluk, in orek ke mwet Israel nukewa.
and the priests slaughtered them, and sin-cleansed, with their blood, the altar, to put a propitiatory-covering over all Israel, -because, for all Israel, did the king appoint the ascending-sacrifice and the offering for bearing sin.
25 Tokosra el oru oana ma LEUM GOD El sapkin nu sel Tokosra Davi — ma David el eis sel Gad, mwet liaten lun tokosra, oayapa sel mwet palu Nathan. Tokosra el oakiya acn sin mwet Levi in Tempul, wi harp ac cymbal,
And he caused the Levites to stand in the house of Yahweh, with cymbals and with harps and with lyres, by the commandment of David, and of Gad the seer of the king, and of Nathan the prophet, —for, by the hand of Yahweh, came the commandment by the hand of his prophets.
26 kain mwe on ma Tokosra David el tuh orekmakin. Mwet tol elos oayapa tu we wi mwe ukuk natulos.
So the Levites took their stand, with the instruments of David, and the priests, with the trumpets.
27 Hezekiah el sap in mutawauk orek mwe kisa firir, ac ke kisa uh mutawauk, mwet uh on ac kaksak nu sin LEUM GOD, ac mwet srital ke mwe on elos mutawauk ukya mwe ukuk ac mwe on nukewa pac saya.
And Hezekiah gave word, to cause the ascending-sacrifice to go up on the altar, —and, when the ascending-sacrifice began, the singing unto Yahweh began, and the trumpets, even under the direction of the instruments of David, king of Israel.
28 Mwet nukewa su muta we elos wi alu, na pusren on lun mwet uh ac mwe on saya orek nwe ke firirla nukewa mwe kisa uh.
And, all the convocation, were bowing themselves in prostration, and, the song, was resounding and the trumpets were blowing, -the whole, until the completing of the ascending-sacrifice.
29 Na Tokosra Hezekiah ac mwet nukewa sikukmutunte ac alu nu sin God.
And, when the offering was complete, the king knelt down and all who were present with him, and bowed themselves in prostration.
30 Tokosra ac mwet kol lun mutunfacl sac elos fahk nu sin mwet Levi in onkakin on in kaksak ma David el simusla, oayapa ma Asaph mwet palu el simusla. Ouinge mwet nukewa on ke engan lulap ke elos sikukmutunte ac alu nu sin LEUM GOD.
And Hezekiah the king and the rulers gave word to the Levites, to offer praise unto Yahweh, in the words of David, and of Asaph the seer, —so they offered praise right joyfully, and bent their heads and bowed themselves in prostration.
31 Hezekiah el fahk nu sin mwet uh, “Inge ke kowos nasnasla tari, use mwe kisa tuh in mwe sang kulo nu sin LEUM GOD.” Na elos akos, ac kutu selos sifacna use kosro natulos ke insewowo lalos, tuh in mwe kisa firir.
Then responded Hezekiah and said—Now, have ye consecrated yourselves unto Yahweh. Draw near, and bring in sacrifices and thank-offerings unto the house of Yahweh, -So the convocation brought sacrifices and thank-offerings, and, everyone of a willing heart, [brought] ascending-sacrifices.
32 Elos use cow mukul itngoul, sheep siofok, ac sheep fusr luofoko, in mwe kisa firir nu sin LEUM GOD.
And it came to pass that, the number of ascending-sacrifices which the convocation brought, was—seventy bullocks, and a hundred rams, and two hundred young sheep, —as an ascending-sacrifice unto Yahweh, all these.
33 Elos oayapa use cow mukul onfoko, ac tolu tausin sheep tuh in mwe kisa ma mwet uh in kang.
But, the hallowed beasts, were six hundred bullocks, and three thousand sheep.
34 Ke puelac mwet tol in mukena uniya kosro inge kewa, na mwet Levi elos kasrelos nwe ke na tari orekma kac. In pacl sacn oasr pac mwet tol su sifacna aknasnasyalosla. Mwet Levi elos oaru liki mwet tol in oru lumah fal nu ke aknasnas lalos uh.
Only, the priests, were too few, and were unable to flay all the ascending-sacrifices, —so their brethren the Levites strengthened them, until the work was complete and until the priests had hallowed themselves, for, the Levites, were more upright in heart to hallow themselves, than the priests.
35 Sayen mwe kisa ma fonna firiryak, ma kunen mwet tol in esukak kiris ke ma kisakinyukla ke ma mwet uh kangla, oayapa in okoala wain ma wi na mwe kisa firir utuku. Ouinge alu in Tempul uh sifilpa mutawauk.
Moreover also, the ascending-sacrifices, were in abundance, with the fat portions of the peace-offerings, and with the drink-offerings to every ascending-sacrifice, -thus was established the service of the house of Yahweh.
36 Tokosra Hezekiah ac mwet uh elos engan, mweyen God El kasrelos oru ma inge nukewa ke sie pacl na fototo.
And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, because God had established it for the people, —for, suddenly, had the thing come about.
