Sie Timothy 2
1 Ma se meet, nga kwafe tuh mwet uh in sikalani in pre ac fahkak mwe enenu lalos, oayapa pre ke mwet ngia ac sang kulo nu sin God ke mwet nukewa;
I exhort, then, first of all, there be made supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings, for all men:
2 yokna ke tokosra ac mwet leum nukewa, tuh kut fah ku in moul misla ke wangin mwe lokoalok, ac akfulatye God ac oru ma wo.
for kings, and all who are in authority, that a quiet and peaceable life we may lead in all piety and gravity,
3 Pa inge ma wo ac mwe akinsewowoye God, Mwet Lango lasr,
for this [is] right and acceptable before God our Saviour,
4 su lungse tuh mwet e nukewa in moliyukla ac in ku in etu ke ma pwaye.
who doth will all men to be saved, and to come to the full knowledge of the truth;
5 Tuh oasr God sefanna, ac mwet akiwe sefanna su ku in eiskuteni nu sin God, ac mwet se inge pa Christ Jesus,
for one [is] God, one also [is] mediator of God and of men, the man Christ Jesus,
6 su sifacna eisalang in mwe molela nu sin mwet e nukewa. Pa inge ma sikyak in pacl fal in akpwayeye lah God El lungse tuh mwet e nukewa in moliyukla,
who did give himself a ransom for all — the testimony in its own times —
7 ac pa inge sripen srisrngiyuki nga in sie mwet sap ac mwet luti nu sin mwet sayen mwet Jew, in fahkak kas ke lulalfongi ac ke ma pwaye. Nga kaskas pwaye ac tia kikiap!
in regard to which I was set a preacher and apostle — truth I say in Christ, I do not lie — a teacher of nations, in faith and truth.
8 In pacl nukewa kowos tukeni alu, nga lungse tuh mukul uh in pre — elos su eisalosyang pwaye nu sin God, ac su ku in kolak paolos in pre ac tia mulat ku akukuin.
I wish, therefore, that men pray in every place, lifting up kind hands, apart from anger and reasoning;
9 Ac nga lungse pac mutan uh in efal ac in etu ma wo nu ke naweyuk lalos; in tia yunela karak lun sifalos ke gold ku pearl, ac elos in tia nukum nuknuk yohk molo,
in like manner also the women, in becoming apparel, with modesty and sobriety to adorn themselves, not in braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or garments of great price,
10 a mwe yun lalos pa orekma wo, oana ma fal nu sin mutan su fahkak lah elos mwet alu nu sin God.
but — which becometh women professing godly piety — through good works.
11 Ke pacl in lutlut, mutan uh in misla ac pusisel.
Let a woman in quietness learn in all subjection,
12 Nga tia fuhlela nu sin mutan in luti ku in leum fin mukul; elos enenu in muta misla.
and a woman I do not suffer to teach, nor to rule a husband, but to be in quietness,
13 Tuh Adam el orekla meet, na toko Eve.
for Adam was first formed, then Eve,
14 Ac tia Adam pa kiapweyukla, a mutan sac pa kiapweyukla ac kunausla ma sap lun God.
and Adam was not deceived, but the woman, having been deceived, into transgression came,
15 Tusruktu, sie mutan fah moliyukla ke el oswela tulik, el fin kwafeang ke moul in lulalfongi, ac lungse, ac mutal, wi efal.
and she shall be saved through the child-bearing, if they remain in faith, and love, and sanctification, with sobriety.
