1 Wathesalonike 3
1 Kwa eyu, patayele tibhuesya lepi kuvumilila zaidi, lafikilili kuwa yayele syana kubakila khola Athene tete tayhoto.
WHEREFORE when we could no longer forbear, we thought it good to be left at Athens alone:
2 Twamtumili Timotheo ndhongo bhitu na n'tumishi wa K'yara ku injili ya Kristu, kubhaimalisha ni kabhafaliji kuhusiana ni imani ya yhomo.
and sent Timothy our brother, and a minister of God, and our fellow-labourer in the gospel of Christ, that he might stablish you, and comfort you concerning your faith:
3 Twaketilli agha ili kusudi akotokuya yuoayhola wa kuteteleka kup'etela mateso agha, kwa ndabha mwayhomo mmanyili kuwa tumalili teulibhwa kwajia ya ele.
that no man might be shaken by these tribulations; for ye yourselves know that thereunto we are appointed.
4 Kwa kueli, muda watayele pamonga ni namu, twalondili kubhajobhela ya kuwa twayele papipi kukabha mateso, na agha ghahomili kama kammanyili.
For when we were with you, we told you before that we were about to suffer tribulation; as also it came to pass, and ye know.
5 Kwa ndabha eye, paniyele ni bhuesya lepi kuvumilila kabhele natumili kusudi ni kabhaa kumanya juu ya imani ya yhomo. Bhuenda mjalibu ayele abha jalibu, ni mbhombho yhitu yibhuesya kuya bure.
For this cause also, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your fidelity, lest by any means the tempter had tempted you, and our labour should be in vain.
6 Lakini Timotheo ahidili kwa tete kuhomela kwa muenga na atuletili malobhi mema juu ya imani ni upendo bhuinu. Atujobhili ya ndabha mwitamani kutubhona na kama katuyete tee titamani kubhabhona muenga.
But now when Timothy returned to us from you, and brought us the glad tidings of your faith and love, and that ye retain a kind remembrance of us always, earnestly desirous to see us, as we are also to see you:
7 Kwa ndabha eye, ndongo twafalijiki sana ni muenga kwa ndabha ya imani ya yhomo, ki tabu ni mateso ghitu ghoa.
for this cause we have felt consolation, brethren, in you under all our tribulation and distress, because of your fidelity.
8 Kwa henu tiishi, kama mkayemai ngangali kwa Bwana.
For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
9 Kwani shukrani seleku tumpelai K'yara kwajia yhoto, kwa furaha syoa twatuje nasu palongolo pa K'yara juu ya yhoto?
For what sufficient thanks can we render to God for you, for all the joy with which we rejoice on your account before our God,
10 Twisoma sana pakilu ni pamusi ili tubhwesyai kujibhona pamiu pa yhoto ni kubhayongesela kakipongoka mu imani ya yhomo.
night and day most fervently praying that we may see your face, and amply supply the deficiencies of your faith?
11 K'yara wa yhoto na ni Dadi muene, ni Bwana was yhoto Yesu atuyongeselai njela ya yhoto ya kufika kwa yhomo.
Now God himself, and our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ direct our way unto you.
12 Ni Bwana afwanyai muyongesekai ni kuzidi kup'etela lipendo, mkagananai ni kubhagana bhanu bhoa, Kama katukabha ketela muenga.
And the Lord cause you to abound and overflow with love one to another, and towards all men, as we also do to you:
13 Na afwanyai naa ili aimalishai miteema yhinu iyelai bila lawama mu utakatifu palongolo pa K'yara wa yhoto na ni Dadi wa yhoto ku ujio wa Bwana Yesu pamonga ni bhatakatifu bhake bhoa.
to the end that your hearts may be established blameless in holiness before God and our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
