1 Petro ntume ghwa Yesu Kristu, kwa bhahesya bha bhutawanyiko, kwa bhateule, mu ponto j'hioha, Galatia, kapadokia, Asia ni Bithinia.
PETER, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the sojourners, dispersed through Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2 Kutokana ni bhufahamu bhwa K'yara, Tata kwa kutakasibhwa ni Roho Mtakatifu, kwa bhutiifu bhwa Yesu Kristu, ni kwa kunyunyusibhwa muasi bhwake. Neema ij'hieghe kwa j'homu, ni amani j'hinu j'hij'honge sikaghe.
elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by sanctification of the Spirit, that they might be brought to the obedience, and sprinkled with the blood of Jesus Christ: grace unto you and peace be multiplied.
3 K'yara Tata ghwa Bhwana ghwitu Yesu Kristu abarikibhuaghe. Mubhubhaha bhwa rehema j'hiake, atupelili kuhogoleka kabhale kwa bhujasiri bhwa urithi kup'etela bhufufuo bhwa Yesu Kristu mu bhafu,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto an animating hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 kwa bhurithi bhwa bhubeli kuj'hangamila, bhwibeta kuj'halepi nibhuchafu bhwala kup'hangika. Bhuhifadhibhu kumbinguni kwa ndabha j'hinu.
for an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and unfading, reserved in the heavens for you,
5 Kwa bhuweza bhwa K'yara mwilendibhwa kup'hetela imani kwa bhwokovu ambabho bhuj'hele tayari kufunulibhwa munyakati sya mwisho.
who are guarded by the omnipotence of God, through faith to obtain the salvation which is ready to appear at the last time.
6 Muhobholelai e'le ingawaje henu ni lazima kwa muenga kwipeleka huzuni mu majaribu gha Aina mbalimbali.
Wherein ye exult, though yet for a little space, (if it must be so, ) ye are in sorrow through various trials:
7 Ej'he, kwa ndabha imani j'hinu j'hbhwesiaghe kujaribibhwa imani ambaj'ha j'ha thamani kuliko dhahabu, ambaj'ho j'hij'hagha mu muoto ambhabho ta j'hijaribu imani j'hinu. Ej'he j'hitokela ili imani j'hinu j'hibhwesiaghe kuhogola sifa bhutukufu ni heshima mubhufunuo bhwa Yesu. Kristu.
that the test of your faith (much more precious than that of gold, which is of a perishing nature, though proved by fire) may be found unto praise and honour and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ:
8 Mumbuene dumu muene, lakini mun'ganili. Mukambona lepi henu, lakini mwikiera lwa muene na muhobhwiki muni kwa furaha ambaj'ho 'himemili bhutukufu.
whom though ye have not seen, ye love; on whom, though ye have not as yet gazed, yet believing, ye exult with joy unutterable and glorious:
9 Henu mwij'hambelela mwibhene matokeo gha imani j'hinu bhokovu bhwa nafsi syinu.
receiving the end of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
10 Manabii bhalondili ni kuk'hota kwa makini kuhusu bhwokovu obho, kuhusu neema ambaj'ho ngaj'hij'he j'ha muenga.
Concerning which salvation the prophets eagerly sought and diligently inquired, who prophesied of the grace which is come to you:
11 Bhalondili kumanya ndo aina gani j'ha bhwokovu ngabhubudili. Bhalondili pia kumanya ni muda gani roho ghwa Kristu j'ha aj'hele mugati mwabhene aj'hele ilongela kiki nabhu. E'j'he j'haj'hele jbiomela wakati ikabhajobhela mapema kuhusu malombosi gha Kristu ni bhutukufu ambabho ngaumfwatili.
investigating to what time and to what conjuncture the Spirit of Christ in them pointed, when predicting the sufferings coming upon Christ, and the glories subsequent thereto.
12 J'hafunulibhu kwa manabii kuj'ha bhaj'hele bhakaghatumikila mambo agha na sio kwa ndabha j'ha bhene, bali kwa ndabha j'hinu- masimulizi gha mambo agha kup'hetela bhala bhabhileta injili kwa muenga kwa nj'hela j'ha Roho N'takatifu j'heatumibhu kuh'omela kumbinguni, mambo ambagho hata malaika bhinyonywa kufunulibhwa kuake.
To whom it was revealed, that not for themselves, but for us were their ministrations employed in the things which are now declared unto you by those who have preached the gospel unto you by the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; on which things the angels bending forwards eagerly desire to gaze.
13 Henu mfungai misana ghya akili syinu. Mujhiaghe bhatulivu mu fikra syinu. Muj'hieg`ae ni bhusisya nkamilifu mu neema ambaj'ho j'hibeta kuletibhwa kwa j'homu wakati bhwa kufunuliwa kwa Yesu Kristu.
Wherefore girding up the loins of your mind, vigilant, wait with assured hope for the grace, which shall be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
14 Kama bhana bhatiifu msifungibhu mwibhene ni tamaa ambasyo mwasifwatili bhwakati mdutili bhufahamu.
as obedient children, not conformed to the former passions of the days of your ignorance:
15 Lakini kama vile j'haabhakutili kya aj'hele ntakatifu namu, pia muj'hiaghe bhatakatifu mu tabia j'hinu j'hioha maishani.
but as he who hath called you is holy, be ye holy also in all your conduct:
16 Kwa kuj'ha j'hijhandikibhu, '“Mj'hiaghe bhatakatifu, kwa ndabha nene ne ntakatifu”.
because it is written, “Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
17 Na kama mwikuta “tata” j'hola j'hihukumu kwa haki kul'engana ni mbombo j'ha kila munu, kunyenyekela.
And if ye invoke him as Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, conduct yourselves during the time of your sojourning with jealous fear:
18 Mumanyili kuj'ha j'haj'hedumu, kwa fedha au dhahabu - fenu fyafijhonangika - ambafyo mkombolibhu kuh'omela mu tabia syinu sya bhujinga ambasyo mwamanyili kuh'omela kwa bha tata bhinu.
knowing that ye have not been redeemed out of your vain manner of life, derived traditionally from your fathers, by the corruptible things, silver and gold,
19 Lakini mkombolibhu kwa muasi j'ha litengo lya Kristu, kama j'ha likondoo lyalibelikuj'ha ni hila bhwala bhuifu.
but by the precious blood of Christ, as the unblemished and spotless lamb:
20 Kristu asalibhu kabla j'ha misingi ghya dunia, lakini magono agha gha mwisho, afunulibhu kwa muenga.
who was indeed predestined before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for us,
21 Mukankiera k'yara kup'helela muene, ambaj'he ampelili bhutukufu ili kuj'ha imani j'hinu ni bhusisya bhuj'hiaghe kwa k'yara.
who by him believe in God, that raised him from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
22 Mmbombili nafsi syinu kuj'ha kinofu kwa bhutii bhwa bhukweli, kwa dhumuni lya luganu lwa kilongobhi lyalij'hele ni bhunyoofu, Henu mgananai kwa makaghoha kuh'omela mu miteema.
Having purified your souls by obedience to the truth through the Spirit unto fraternal affection undissembled, love each other intensely out of a pure heart:
23 Mmalili kuhogoleka mara gha bhubhele, si kwa mbeyu j'haj'hiharibika, lakini kuhoma mu mbeyu j'haj'hiyonangeka lepi, kup'helela bhusima bhwa litobhi lya k'yara lyalisiele. (aiōn g165)
born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the quickening word of God, and which abideth for ever. (aiōn g165)
24 Kwa maana “mibhele ghiogha ndo kama mat'ondo, ni bhutukufu bhwake bhouha ni kama liua lya lit'ondo. Lit'ondo linyauka ni liua libina.
“For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man, as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower of it falleth off:”
