Lukha 17
1 U Yesu akhavavula avakongi va mwene, “Imbombo inchi khuva pa lela avanu ukhutula inongwa nchinoge lanile ukhwinelia, lwamwene umunu uveiuhunchitalencha!
And He said to the disciples, “It is impossible for the stumbling blocks not to come, but woe [to him] through whom they come;
2 Yeve hei umunu uywa alwikhugiwe eliwe ilichitu ilyakhuhevetela msingo nukhu tagiwa khunyanja, khwomela ukhuva elela avana avadebe ukhuta vatule enongwa.
it is more profitable to him if a weighty millstone is put around his neck, and he has been cast into the sea, than that he may cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3 Mwelolelage. ulukhololwo angakumagile umbunge, umwene agapele usyekhile. Agakhunagile mara saba khusiku yemo khage mara saba khusiku yemo aginche khuliuve nukhunchova, 'nipelile, 'usyekhile!”
Take heed to yourselves, and if your brother may sin in regard to you, rebuke him, and if he may change his mind, forgive him,
and if seven times in the day he may sin against you, and seven times in the day may return to you, saying, I change my mind, you will forgive him.”
5 Avasukhwa vamwene vakhambula Dada, “Twogelekhenche ulwedekho lweto.”
And the apostles said to the LORD, “Add to us faith”;
6 UYesu akhanchova, “Mwamuvinchage nulwedekho ulwa mbegu eya haradarii, mkhale mkhukuvula ubekhi ukhu ugwa nkuyu, 'hega pwu khukhamele munyanja,'gwope gwakhukhuvapulikha.
and the LORD said, “If you had faith as a grain of mustard, you would have said to this sycamine, Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea, and it would have obeyed you.
7 Pwu veni pagati paliume, uvialinumbombi uveilema ikhyalo au uveidema igo'si, uveikhumbula wa humile khukyalo, inchaga nambivi utame ulye ikhyakhulya?
But who is he of you—having a servant plowing or feeding—who, to him having come in out of the field, will say, Having come, recline at once?
8 Sakhambula, 'nelekhele ikhyakhulya nilye, pwu vikhuge utivo umbombelage impakha apya ni mala ukhulya nu khunywa. Pwa apo nayuve wilya nu kunywa?
But will not [rather] say to him, Prepare what I may dine, and having girded yourself around, minister to me, until I eat and drink, and after these things you will eat and drink?
9 Sakhasane umbombi uywa ulwakhuva avombile nchila inchavuliwe?
Does he have favor to that servant because he did the things directed? I think not.
10 Vule vule nayumwe mughavombe inchomuvuliwe munchovage 'ufwe twevavombi twisatunogelanile. Tuvombile nchila inchonchikhano gelanile ukhuvomba.'
So also you, when you may have done all the things directed you, say, We are unprofitable servants, because that which we owed to do we have done.”
11 Yakhumile wu ilota khuyerusalemu, agendile mundupakha ulwa khusamaria na khugalilaya.
And it came to pass, in His going on to Jerusalem, that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee,
12 Avile ikhwigela mumbonchege vumo, ikhwa aagine na vanu khinchigo avuvale nuvukoma. Vakhima khuvutali
and He entering into a certain village, there ten leprous men met Him, who stood far off,
13 Vakhapwata vakhata “Yesu, Nkhuludeva tukholele ikhisa.”
and they lifted up the voice, saying, “Jesus, Master, deal kindly with us”;
14 Avile avawene akhavavula, “Mlutage mkavonekhe khuva vatwa makhuhani.”Navene vavile viluta vakhavalanchiwa.
and having seen [them], He said to them, “Having gone on, show yourselves to the priests”; and it came to pass, in their going, they were cleansed,
15 Yumo avileaponile, akhiliwike khukhuginia U Nguluve.
and one of them having seen that he was healed turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice,
16 Akhafugama mumalunde ga Yesu akhademya. Umwene ale Samaria.
and he fell on [his] face at His feet, giving thanks to Him, and he was a Samaritan.
17 U Yesu akhanda, akhata, “Savaponole voni khinelugo? Valendakhu avange vala tisa?
And Jesus answering said, “Were not the ten cleansed, and the nine—where?
18 Asikhuli nayumo uviavonikhe ukhukilivukha khukhuginia U Nguluve, ila uyu ugesya?”
There were none found who turned back to give glory to God, except this foreigner”;
19 Akhambula, “Ema ulutage ulwidikho lwakho lukhuponinche.”
and He said to him, “Having risen, be going on, your faith has saved you.”
20 Avileavunchiwe na avofarisayo uludeva lwaNguluve lwikhwincha ndeli, U Yesu akhanda akhata, “Uludeva lwa Nguluve sakhivile ndekhinu ikhivonekha.
And having been questioned by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God comes, He answered them and said, “The Kingdom of God does not come with observation;
21 Avanu savalanchova, 'Mulolage khunu!' au, 'Mulole khu! Ulwakhuva uludeva lwa Nguluve lulemugati mundimwe.”
nor will they say, Behold, here; or, Behold, there; for behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.”
22 UYesu akhavavula avakhongi va mwene, “akhavalilo yukhifikha mlanogwagwa ukhulola ikhigano khimo ikheya mwana va ndavite, samulakhuvona.
And He said to His disciples, “Days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man and you will not behold [it];
23 Akhavavula, 'Mlolage, ukhu! Mlolage apa!' Mlekhe ukhuluta khwilola, nu khuvakhonga,
and they will say to you, Behold, here; or, Behold, there; you may not go away, nor follow;
24 Ndulumuli ulwa nchasi ulumulikha mkhiluga ulutegulila kuvunge nu khuluta khuvuge. Vule vule umwana va Ndaveti alincha ewo khukhigono ikhya mwene.
for as the lightning is flashing out of one [part] under the sky [and] shines to the other [part] under the sky, so will the Son of Man also be in His day;
25 khuvutegulilo yenogiwa ukhugatanchiwa ni nongwa inyingi nukhubeliwa ne kkivumbumbukha ekhi.
and first it is necessary for Him to suffer many things, and to be rejected by this generation.
26 Nduwuyale ifigono ifya Nwakha, wuyilava woikhwincha umwana va Ndaveti. Valikulya, valikhunywa,
And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, so will it also be in the days of the Son of Man;
27 valikhutola nu khutoliwa ipakha akhavalilo akha UNwakha aingile mugalava yekhincha nukhuvabuda voni.
they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the Ark, and the flood came, and destroyed all;
28 Wuyale khumisikhi igya
in like manner also, as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;
29 U Loti, avile akhegile khusodoma, yekhafima ifula iya mwoto ne kiviliti ukhuma khukhiya vakhabudiwa voni.
and on the day Lot went forth from Sodom, He rained fire and brimstone from the sky, and destroyed all.
30 Vwoyilava ewo ilinchova elyakhyu alincha umwana va Ndavati alavaivonekha.
According to these things it will be, in the day the Son of Man is revealed;
31 Ikhigono ikhyo, ulekheukhutavula uvalikhukhano munyumba ikhe atole ifinu munyumba. Na ulekhe ukhutavula uvialekhukyalo ukhuvuya khukaya.
in that day, he who will be on the housetop, and his vessels in the house, do not let him come down to take them away; and he in the field, in like manner, do not let him turn backward;
32 Mkhumbukhe udala va Loti.
remember the wife of Lot.
33 Uveavenchaga uveinogwa ukhupokha uvumi wa mwene ikhuvuyanchi, uveavenchaga avealeyancha uwumi wa mwene alapona.
Whoever may seek to save his life, will lose it; and whoever may lose it, will preserve it.
34 Nikhuvavula, ikhilo iyo khulava na vanu vaveli pakhihaga khimo. Yumo itoliwa, uyuge isigala.
I say to you, in that night there will be two [men] on one bed: one will be taken, and the other will be left;
35 Khulava na vadala vaveli viheveta panie, yumo itoliwa uyuge isigala.”
two [women] will be grinding at the same place together: one will be taken, and the other will be left;
[[two [men] will be in the field: one will be taken, and the other left.”]]
37 Wakamwuliza, “Wapi, Mungu?” Akawaambia, “Pale ulipo mzoga, ndipo tai hukusanyika kwa pamoja.”
And they answering say to Him, “Where, Lord?” And He said to them, “Where the body [is], there the eagles will be gathered together.”
