Lucas 17
1 Xubꞌij ri Jesús chike ri utijoxelabꞌ: Xa chi kꞌo wi laꞌ le topibꞌal taq aqanaj, kꞌax kꞌu re ri winaq ri rumal rech katzaq jun chik.
Then sayde he to ye disciples it can not be avoyded but that offences will come. Neverthelesse wo be to him thorow whom they come.
2 Are katanik kajatꞌix bꞌik jun kꞌa chuqul kakꞌyaq bꞌik pa ri plo, cho ri xaq kuꞌtaqchiꞌj ri alaj taq e chꞌutiꞌn chubꞌanik makaj.
It were better for him that a mylstone were hanged aboute his necke and that he were cast into ye see then that he shuld offende one of this lytleons.
3 Xaq jeriꞌ chichajij iwibꞌ, we kamakun ri awachalal, chayaja apanoq xuqujeꞌ chakuyu we kukꞌex ukꞌuꞌx.
Take hede to youre selves. If thy brother trespas agaynst the rebuke him:

and yf he repent forgeve him. And though he sinne agest ye. vii. tymes in a daye and seve tymes in a daye tourne agayne to ye sayinge: it repenteth me forgeve him

And the apostles sayde vnto the Lorde: increase oure faith.

And the Lorde sayde: yf ye had faith lyke a grayne of mustard sede and shuld saye vnto this sycamine tree plucke thy selfe vp by the rootes and plant thy selfe in the see: he should obey you.
7 Qaꞌnampe che, we jun chiꞌwe kꞌo jun rajchak ri xchakun apanoq cho ri saq, o wine xuꞌchajij ri chij, are kꞌu katzalij cho ri ja la kibꞌij che: “chatan loq chattꞌuyul puꞌwiꞌ le mexa” ¿la kixcha che?

8 ¿La man kꞌu jewaꞌ kibꞌij che: “chakꞌexa ri awatzꞌyaq, chabꞌana nuwa, kꞌa te katwaꞌ kan at are kinwalej in”?
and wolde not rather saye to him dresse wherwith I maye sup and gyrde vp thy selfe and serve me tyll I have eaten and dronken: and afterwarde eate thou and drinke thou?
9 ¿La utz kꞌu riꞌ katyoxix na che ri ajchak xwi rumal xubꞌano ri upatan?
Doeth he thanke that servaunt because he dyd that which was commaunded vnto him? I trowe not.
10 Ri ix are xbꞌantaj ronojel ri ipatan chibꞌij: “Uj patanijelabꞌ ri maj kaqatayij, xaq xwi xujkwinik xqabꞌan ri qapatan.”
Soo lyke wyse ye when ye have done all thoose thinges which are commaunded you: saye we are vnprofitable servautes. We have done: ye which was oure duetye to do.
11 Jun qꞌijal bꞌenam rij ri Jesús pa ri tinimit Jerusalén, tajin kꞌu kiꞌkow bꞌik pa ri tinimit Samaria xuqujeꞌ pa Galilea.
And it chaunsed as he went to Ierusalem that he passed thorow Samaria and Galile.
12 Okem kꞌu bꞌik rij pa ri jun tinimit, xeꞌl loq e lajuj achyabꞌ e chꞌaꞌkibꞌ, rumal kꞌu cher naj e kꞌo wi loq.
And as he entred into a certayne toune ther met him ten men yt were lepers. Which stode a farre of
13 Xkiraq kichiꞌ xkibꞌij: Ajtij, Jesús, cheꞌl kuꞌx la chaqe.
and put forth their voyces and sayde: Iesu master have mercy on vs.
14 Are xeꞌrilo, xubꞌij chike: Jix, jiꞌkꞌutu iwibꞌ chkiwach ri chꞌawenelabꞌ cho ri Dios pa kiwiꞌ ri winaq. E bꞌenaq kꞌu pa ri bꞌe are xechꞌajchꞌobꞌetajik.
When he sawe the he sayde vnto them: Goo and shewe youre selves to the prestes. And it chaunsed as they went they were clensed.
15 Are kꞌu xril jun chike ri achyabꞌ chi xutzirik, xtzalijik kuraqaqej uchiꞌ kuqꞌijilaꞌj ri Dios.
And one of them when he sawe that he was clensed turned backe agayne and with a loude voyce praysed God
16 Xukulik xqaj cho ri Jesús, xtyoxin che, pune aj Samaria we achi riꞌ.
and fell doune on his face at his fete and gave him thankes. And the same was a Samaritane.
17 Xubꞌij kꞌu ri Jesús che: ¿La man kꞌu e lajuj achyabꞌ ri xechꞌajchꞌobꞌetajik? ¿Jawjeꞌ kꞌu e kꞌo wi ri e bꞌelejebꞌ chik?
And Iesus answered and sayde: are ther not ten clensed? But where are those nyne?
18 ¿La maj chi jun ri xtzalij loq chuyaꞌik uqꞌij ri Dios, la xaq xwi we achi ri man qawinaqil taj?
Ther are not founde that returned agane to geve God prayse save only this straunger.
19 Xubꞌij kꞌu ri Jesús che ri achi: Chatwaꞌjiloq, jat, xatkunataj rumal ri akojobꞌal.
And he sayde vnto him: aryse and goo thy waye thy faith hath made the whoale.
20 Ri e fariseos xkita che ri Jesús chirij ri upetibꞌal ri ajawarem rech ri Dios, xubꞌij kꞌu chike: Maj jun kakwinik qas kuchomaj jas ri qas upetibꞌal ri ajawarem rech ri Dios.
When he was demaunded of ye pharises when the kyngdome of God shuld come: he answered them and sayde: The kyngdome of God cometh not with waytinge for.
21 Man kibꞌij taj: “Chiwilampeꞌ, chi riꞌ kꞌo wi, chiwilampeꞌ, je laꞌ kꞌo wi”. Chiwilaꞌ chi pa ri iwanimaꞌ kꞌo wi ri ajawarem rech ri Dios.
Nether shall men saye: Loo here loo there. For beholde the kyngdome of God is with in you.
22 Xubꞌij kꞌu ri Jesús chike ri utijoxelabꞌ: Kopan na ri qꞌij ri sibꞌalaj kirayij kiwil ri uqꞌijal ri uKꞌojol ri Achi, man kiwil ta kꞌut.
And he sayde vnto the disciples: The dayes will come when ye shall desyre to se one daye of the sonne of man and ye shall not se it.
23 Man kixeꞌ ta kꞌu kukꞌ xuqujeꞌ man kiꞌtereneꞌj taj ri winaq riꞌ kakibꞌij na chiꞌwe: “Jiꞌwilampeꞌ kꞌo jewaꞌ, chiwilampeꞌ kꞌo chi riꞌ.”
And they shall saye to you: Se here Se there. Goo not after them nor folowe them
24 Rumal chi ri uqꞌijal ri upetibꞌal ri uKꞌojol ri Achi, jeꞌ jas ri kayapaꞌ ri karepqꞌun chuxukut kaj kaqaj chuxukut ulew.
for as the lyghtenynge that apereth out of the one parte of the heven and shyneth vnto the other parte of heven: Soo shall the sonne of man be in his dayes.
25 Xa kꞌu nabꞌe na kuriq na kꞌax xuqujeꞌ ketzelax na uwach kumal ri winaq rech we qꞌij junabꞌ riꞌ.
But fyrst must he suffre many thinges and be refused of this nacion.
26 Ri upetibꞌal ri uKꞌojol ri Achi, jeꞌ jas ri xkꞌulmataj pa taq ri uqꞌij ri Noé.
As it happened in ye tyme of Noe: So shall it be in the tyme of the sonne of man.
27 Ri winaq kewaꞌik, kequmunik, kekꞌuliꞌ taq xuqujeꞌ keya pa taq kꞌulanem, kꞌa xopan na ri qꞌij are xok ri Noé pa ri arca, xpe kꞌu ri qꞌeqal jabꞌ, xuꞌkamisaj kan konojel ri winaq.
They ate they dranke they maryed wyves and were maryed even vnto yt same daye yt Noe went into ye arke: and ye floud cam and destroyed the all.
28 Je xuqujeꞌ xkꞌulmatajik pa taq ri qꞌij rech riꞌ Lot: ri winaq kewaꞌik, kequmunik, keloqꞌoꞌmanik, xuqujeꞌ kekꞌayinik, ketikoꞌnijik xuqujeꞌ kakiyak taj ja.
Lykewyse also as it chaunsed in the dayes of Lot. They ate they dranke they bought they solde they planted they bilte.
29 Xa kꞌu are xuriq ri qꞌij ri xel bꞌik ri Lot pa ri tinimit Sodoma, xtzaq loq qꞌaqꞌ rech chikajil xuqujeꞌ azufre, xukꞌis pa kiwiꞌ konojel ri winaq.
And even the same daye that Lot went out of Zodom it rayned fyre and brymstone from heven and destroyed them all.
30 Jeriꞌ kakꞌulmataj na are kukꞌut ribꞌ ri uKꞌojol ri Achi.
After these ensamples shall it be in the daye when the sonne of man shall appere.
31 Pa ri qꞌij riꞌ, ri winaq ri kꞌo puꞌwiꞌ ri rachoch, maqaj bꞌik chutzukuxik ri ujastaq ri kꞌo kan pa ri rachoch, je xuqujeꞌ ri tajin kachakun cho ri saq, matzalij chukꞌamik ri man xnaꞌtaj ta bꞌik che.
At that daye he that is on the housse toppe and his stuffe in the housse: let him not come doune to take it out. And lykewyse let not him that is in the feldes turne backe agayne to that he lefte behynde.
32 Xwi naꞌtaj chiꞌwe ri xkꞌulmataj rukꞌ ri rixoqil ri Lot.
Remember Lottes wyfe.
33 Xapachin kꞌu ri karaj kukol ri ukꞌaslemal, kutzaq na riꞌ, xapachin kꞌu ri kutzaq ri ukꞌaslemal, kukol na riꞌ.
Whosoever will goo about to save his lyfe shall loose it: And whosoever shall loose his lyfe shall save it.
34 Qas tzij kinbꞌij chiꞌwe chi che ri aqꞌabꞌ riꞌ, kekꞌojiꞌ na kebꞌ winaq pa jun chꞌat. Jun kakꞌam bꞌik chike, ri jun chik kakanaj kanoq.
I tell you: In that nyght ther shalbe two in one beed the one shalbe receaved and the other shalbe forsaken.
35 E kebꞌ ixoqibꞌ kekeꞌn na junam, jun kꞌut kakꞌam na bꞌik, ri jun chik kakanaj kanoq.
Two shalbe also a grindynge to gedder: the one shalbe receaved and the other forsaken.
36 E kebꞌ achyabꞌ kechakun na cho ri saq, jun kakꞌam na bꞌik, ri jun chik kakanaj kanoq.
37 Xkita kꞌu che: Ajawxel ¿Jawjeꞌ kakꞌulmataj wi waꞌ we riꞌ? Ri Jesús xubꞌij chike: Ri e kꞌuch kakimulij kibꞌ riꞌ xapawjeꞌ kꞌo wi jun kaminaq.
And they answered and sayde to him: wheare Lorde? And he sayd vnto the: whersoever ye body shalbe thyther will the egles resoorte.
