< Bharumi 11 >

1 Mbe enaika, Angu Nyamuanga abhalemele abhanu bhae? Na katyali uli. Kwo kubha anye one nili Mwisilaeli, wo lwibhulo Lwa Ibhulaimu, wo luganda lwa Benyamini.
I say then, Hath God cast off his people? Far be it I For I myself am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 Nyamuanga hatabhalemele abhanu bhae, abho amenyele okwambila kubhwambilo. Angu mutakumenya elyandiko elyaika chinuki okulubhana na Eliya, lwa kutyo amukomelesishe Nyamuanga ingulu ya Israel?
God hath not cast off his people, which he foreknew. Do ye not know what the Scripture saith in the passage concerning Elijah? how he pleadeth to God against Israel:
3 “Latabhugenyi, bhabheta abhalagi bhao, nawe bhona bhafumya ebhigabhwilo bhyao. Anye omwene -ela nanye nasanga, nabho abhayeja obhuwanga bhwani.”
“Lord, they have killed thy prophets, they have dug down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they are seeking my life.”
4 Mbe nawe lisubhyo lya Nyamuanga elyaikaki kwawe? “Nibhikile ingulu yani abhanu bhiubhi musanju bhanu bhatakumubhumila bhiju Bhaali.”
But what saith the answer of God to him? “I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”
5 Nolwo kutyo, omwanya gunu ogwa woli one bhalio bhanu bhasagile kunsonga yo kusola mu chigongo.
In the same way then at this present time also there is a remnant, according to the election of grace.
6 Mbe nawe jikabha mu chigongo, atali lindi mu bhikolwa. kubhindi echigongo chitakubha lindi chigongo.
And if it is by grace, it is no longer on account of works; otherwise grace ceaseth to be grace; but if it is of works, there is then no grace; otherwise work ceaseth to be work. How is it then?
7 Mbe nichinuki woli? Echinu chinu Israeli aliga naiiga, atachibhwene, nawe abhasolwa bhachibhwene, na abhandi bhayanilwe bhusito.
What Israel seeketh after, that Israel did not obtain; but the elect obtained it, and the rest were hardened;
8 Ni lwa kutyo jandikilwe: “Nyamuanga abhayae mwoyo gwo bhugunie, ameso koleleki bhasige okulola, na Matwi koleleki bhasige okungwa, kukinga lelo linu.”
as it is written: “God gave them a spirit of slumber, eyes that were not to see, and ears that were not to hear, unto this day.”
9 No mwene Daudi kaika, “Musige jimeja jebhwe na jibhe waya, mitego, kwibhala lwo kwikujula, no kusubhya olusima ingulu yebhwe.
And David saith, “Let their table become a snare, and a trap, and a stumbling-block, and a recompense to them;
10 Siga ameso gebhwe gatelweko echisunte koleleki bhasigo olola. Nubhenamye emigongo jebhwe Kata.”
let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see; and bow down their back alway.”
11 Mbe woli enaika, “Angu, bhekujuye kukingila okugwa?” Jasiga kubha kutyo kajanende. Amwi nejo, kwo kuigwa kwebhwe, omwelulo gwabhakingiye abhanyamaanga, koleleki abhene bhejule lifuwa.
I say then, Did they stumble in order to fall? God forbid! But by their offence salvation is come to the gentiles to excite them to emulation.
But if their offence is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the gentiles, how much more will their fullness be?
13 Mbe woli enaika nemwe abhanu bha Maanga. Kulwo kubha nabhee Intumwa ku bhanu bha Maanga agandi, enikuisha mukufulubhenda kwani.
For I am speaking to you gentiles; inasmuch as I am the apostle of the gentiles, I magnify my office,
14 Amwi enichula nimbajisha lifuwa bhanu bhali mubhili gumwi nanye. Amwi echibhakisha abhandi bhebhwe.
that I may, if possible, excite to emulation those who are my flesh, and may save some of them.
15 Kulwo kubha alabha okulemwa kwebhwe ni mekilishanyo ge Chalo, okulamilwa kwebhwe okubha atiki nakabhee obhuanga okusoka mu bhafuye?
For if the rejection of them is the reconciliation of the world, what will the reception of them be, but life from the dead?
16 Alabha amatwasho go Kwamba ni bhikilo, nikwo kutyo bhili kwo bhafu bhwa jisyanu. Alabha emisi ni libhikilo, amatabhi one nikwo kutiyo.
And if the first portion of the dough is holy, so also will be the lump; and if the root is holy, so will be the branches.
17 Mbe nawe alabha agandi amatabhi gakatemwa, kuti awe, nawe litabhi lye mwila elyo musheka, linu lwayambilwe agati yebhwe, na nilisangila amwi nabho mu misi jo bhunibhi bhwo musheka,
And if some of the branches have been broken off, and thou, a wild olive, hast been grafted in among them, and become a partaker with them of the root and fatness of the olive-tree,
18 wasiga kwikuya ingulu ya matabhi. Nawe alabha owikuya, atali awe unu ousakila emisi, nawe emisi ejikusakila awe.
boast not over the branches; for if thou boast, thou dost not bear the root, but the root thee.
19 Mbe nawe owaika, “amatabhi gatemelwe koleleki niyambwe kwi Sina.
Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
20 Ejo ni ja chimali. Kunsonga yo kulema okwikilisha kwebhwe bhatemelwe, mbe nawe awe wemeleguyu ulumile koto kunsonga ye likilisha lyao. Wasiga okwiganilisha muno omwene -ela, nawe ubhaye.
Be it so. It was for their unbelief that they were broken off, and thou standest through thy faith; be not high-minded, but fear.
21 Kulwo kubha akabha Nyamuanga atagasigile amatabhi go bhusimuka, atakusasila awe one.
For if God spared the natural branches, take care lest he spare not thee.
22 Mbe, nulole, ebhikolwa bhye kisi no bhululu bhwa Nyamuanga. kwi bhala limwi, obhululu bhunu bhwejile ingulu ya Bhayaudi bhanu bhaguye. Nawe kulubhala lundi, obhwekisi bhwa Nyamuanga bhwejile ingulu yao, nawe ukekomesha mu bhwekisi bhwae. Ukatasikana neJo awe one ulilemelelwa Kula.
Behold then the goodness and the severity of God; toward those who fell, severity; but toward thee God's goodness, if thou continue in his goodness; otherwise thou also wilt be cut off.
23 Alabha bhene one bhakalema okugendelela mu bhunyantekilisha bhwebhwe, abhayambwa lindi. Kulwo kubha Nyamuanga ali no bhutulo bhwo kubhayamba lindi.
And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in; for God is able to graft them in again.
24 Kulwo kubha alabha emwe mwatemelwe anja ya bhinu bhuli bhusimuka bhwo musheka gwe mwila no bhutasikene bhwo bhusimuka mwayambilwe ku musheka gunu guli gwe kisi, atali kwiya kafu muno abhayaudi bhanu, bhali lwa matabhi go bhusimuka bhanu abhatula okuyambwa lindi mu masheka gebhwe abhene?
For if thou hast been cut off from an olive-tree wild by nature, and hast against thy nature been ingrafted into a good olive-tree, how much more shall these, the natural branches, be ingrafted into their own olive-stock?
25 Kulwo kubha bhaili nitakwenda musige okumenya, okulubhana na imbisike inu ati mwasiga okubha no bhumenyi mu okwiganilisha kwemwe abhene. Imbisike inu ni ati obhukomee bhusokele mu Israeli, kukinga mu kukumila kwa Maanga galijila.
For I would not have you ignorant, brethren, of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits, that blindness hath to some extent come upon Israel, until the fullness of the gentiles shall have come in.
26 Kwibhyo Israeli bhone abhwelulwa, kutyo jandikilwe.”Okusoka Sayuni Kaja omwelusi Kabhumenya obhujabhi okusoka ku yakobo.
And thus will all Israel be saved; as it is written, “There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer; he shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob.
27 Na linu elibha elagano lyani amwi nabho, omwanya ogwo nakabhisosheo ebhibhibhi bhyebhwe.”
And this will be my covenant with them, when I shall have taken away their sins.”
28 Ku lubhala oumwi okulubhana no misango no bhwana, abhabhabhiililwa ku Songa yemwe. Kwo lubhala lundi okulubhana no bhwausi bhwa Nyamuanga, abhene ku Songa ya bhajanji.
In regard to the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes; but in regard to God's choice, they are beloved for the fathers' sake.
29 Kwo kubha ebhiyanwa no kubhilikilwa kwa Nyamuanga bhutakuyinduka.
For in respect to his gifts and his calling, there is no change of purpose with God.
30 Kwo kubha kubhwambilo emwe mwaliga muli bhanyamusi bha Nyamuanga, nawe oli mwachilamila echigongo ku Songa yokunyamula kwebhwe.
For as ye in times past were disobedient to God, but have now obtained mercy through their disobedience,
31 Kwa injila eye yo, Oli Abhayaundi bhanu bhanyamuye. Nawe okumala kwendao ni bha ati okulubhana no kubhasasila bhanu muli na mabhando emwe abhatula one okulamila echigongo.
so they too have now become disobedient, that they also may obtain mercy through the mercy shown to you.
32 Kulwo kubha Nyamuanga abhabhoyele abhanu bhone mu bhunyamusi koleleki atule okubhasasila bhone. (eleēsē g1653)
For God delivered up all to disobedience, that he might have mercy upon all. (eleēsē g1653)
33 Lwa kutyo bhili bhikulu kubhunibhi no bhumenyi no bhwengeso bhwa Nyamuanga! jitakumenyelwa jindamu jae, na jinjila jae jitakumenyekana!
O the depth of the riches, and of the wisdom, and of the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his purposes, and his ways past finding out!
34 “Kwibhyo niga unu kaimenya injila ya Latabhugenyi? Amwi niga unu aliga ali mulwaji wae?
For “who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been made his counselor?”
35 Amwi niga unu atangatile okumuyana echinu Nyamuanga, koleleki aliywe lindi?
or “who first gave to him, and shall receive a return?”
36 “Ku lwebhyo okusoka kumwene, na kunjila yae na kumwene, ebhinu bhyona bhilo abhilabhile kumwene libhwe kusho kajanende. Amina. (aiōn g165)
For from him, and through him, and to him are all things. To him be the glory for ever! Amen. (aiōn g165)
