Mathayo 19
1 Yesu ejilemamala okwaika Emisango ejo, nasokayo Galilaya, nagenda mumbalama ja Yudea yeyi no omugela gwa Yorodani.
When Yeshua [Salvation] had finished these words, he departed from Galilee [District, Circuit], and came into the borders of Judea [Praise] beyond the Jordan [Descender].
2 Echise cha abhanu nichimulubha nabheulisha bhaliyo.
Great multitudes followed him, and he healed them there.
3 Amafarisayo nigamulubha okumusaka, “Angu jiile omunu okutagana no omugasi waye kwa injuno yona yona?”
Pharisees [Separated] came to him, testing him, and saying, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”
4 Yesu nabhasubhya naika ati, “Mutasomele, ati oyo abhayangile kubhwambilo ayangile omulume no omugasi?
He answered, “Haven’t you read that from the beginning the Creator made them male and female,
5 Nongesha okwaika ati, 'Kulwa injuno eyo omulume alisigana ne esemwene na nyilamwene nagwatana no mugasi waye, abhabhili abho bhalibha mubhili gumwi?'
and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh’?
6 Mbe bhatali bhabhili tali ni mubhili gumwi. Mbe, chinu Nyamuanga agwatanyishe, omunu wona wona asiga kuchitaganya,”
So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart.”
7 Mbe nibhamubhusha ati, “Kaoli Kubhaki Musa achilagiliye okusosha inyalubha yobhutagani nokutagana?”
They asked him, “Why then did Moses [Drawn out] enjoin us to give her a bill of divorce, and divorce her?”
8 Nabhabhwila ati, “Kulwo bhukomee bhwe emyoyo jemwe Musa abhayanile omwanya gwo kutagana na abhagasi bhemwe, nawe okusokelela kubhwambilo jaliga jitalikutyo.
He said to them, “Moses [Drawn out], because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so.
9 Mbe anye enibhabhwila kutya wona wona unu alitagana no mugasi waye, tali itabhee kwa insonga yo obhulomesi, na natwala oundi, kalomela, No omulume unu alitwala omugasi unu atagene no mulume, kalomela.”
I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for porhneia ·sexual immorality·, and marries another, commits moichao ·act of adultery·; and he who marries her when she is divorced commits moichao ·act of adultery·.”
10 Abheigisibhwa nibhamubhwila Yesu ati, “Labha nikwo kutyo jili kumulume no mugasi waye, italikisi okutwala.”
His disciples said to him, “If this is the case of the man with his wife, it is not expedient to marry.”
11 Nawe Yesu nabhabhwila ati, “Itali ati bhuli munu katula okulamila ameigisho ganu, Tali ni kwabhanu bhayabhilwe omwanya gwo okulamila.
But he said to them, “Not all men can receive this saying, but those to whom it is given.
12 Kulwokubha bhalio bhanu bhebhuwe okusoka munda ja bhanyilamwene bhali bhajigaru. Bhalio abhandi bhakonjelwe kutyo na bhanu bhandi. Na bhalio abhandi bhanu bhekolele okubha bhajigaru kulwa injuno yo bhukama bhwa mulwire. Unu katula okulamila ameigisho ganu mbe nagalamile.”
For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven’s (God’s) sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it.”
13 Okwiya nibhamuletela abhana abhalela koleleki abhatulileko amabhoko ingulu yebhwe no kusabhwa, nawe abheigisibhwa bhaye nibhabhaganya.
Then little children were brought to him, that he should lay his hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them.
14 Nawe Yesu naika ati, “Mubhayane omwanya abhana abhalela, musige no bhajibhila okuja kwanye, kulwokubha obhukama bhwa mulwire ni bhwa bhanu lwa bhene.
But Yeshua [Salvation] said, “Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven (God) belongs to ones like these.”
15 Mbe omwene natula amabhoko ingulu yebhwe, namala nasokao ao.
He laid his hands on them, and departed from there.
16 Mbe Lola, omunu umwi ejile ku Yesu naika ati, “Mwiigisha (Mwalimu), jinyiile nikole chinuki chinu chikondele koleleki nibhone obhuanga bhwa kajanende?” (aiōnios g166)
Behold, one came to him and said, “Good teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)
17 Yesu nabhabhwila ati, “Kubhaki oumbusha echinu chinu chikondele? Aliyo munu umwi wenyele unu akondele, nawe labha owenda okubhona obhuanga, nugwate ebhilagilo bhya Nyamuanga.”
He said to him, “Why do you call me good? There is One who is good, that is God’s Torah ·Teaching·. But if you want to enter into life, observe the mitzvot ·instructions·.”
18 Omunuyo namubhusha ati, “Ebhilagilo ebhyo bhilikutiki? Yesu naika ati, “Wasiga kwita, Wasiga kulomela, Wasiga kwibha, Wasiga okwaika olubhei.
He said to him, “Which ones?” Yeshua [Salvation] said, “‘You shall not murder.’ ‘You shall not moicheuo ·commit adultery·.’ ‘You shall not steal.’ ‘You shall not offer false testimony.’
19 Nuyane echibhalo esomwana na nyokomwana, na yenda omwikasanya wao lwa kutyo owiyenda awe omwene.”
‘Honor your father and your mother.’ And, ‘You shall show agapao ·total devoted love· to your neighbor as yourself.’”
20 Omunu oyo namubhwila ati, “Amagambo ago gona nigagwatile. Chiliyoki echindi chinu enikena okubhona?
The young man said to him, “All these things I have observed from my youth. What do I still lack?”
21 Yesu namubhwila ati, “Ukenda ubhe mulengelesi, genda ugushe bhinu ulinabhyo, ugabhile abhataka, ubhe ne bhiyanwa mulwire. Ukamala uje undubhe.”
Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
22 Nawe omumula oyo ejile ongwa ganu Yesu amubhwiliye, nasokao asulumbaye, kulwokubha aliga agwatiliye imali nyafu.
But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.
23 Mbe Yesu nabhwila abheigisibhwa bhaye, “Ni chimali enibhabhwila, nichikomee kumunu unu ana imali okwingila mubhukama bhwa mulwire.
Yeshua [Salvation] said to his disciples, “Most certainly I say to you, a rich man will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven (God) with difficulty.
24 Enibhabhwila lindi kutya, ingamila yolobhewe okulabha muliso elya insinga, okusiga omunu wa imali okwingila mubhukama bhwa Nyamuanga.”
Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”
25 Abheigisibhwa bhejile bhongwa kutyo, nibhalugula muno nibhaika ati, “Mbe ni uya unu alichunguka?”
When the disciples heard it, they were exceedingly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”
26 Yesu nabhalolela naika, “Kubhana bhanu elyo litakukolekana, nawe ku Nyamuanga agatulikana gona.”
Looking at them, Yeshua [Salvation] said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
27 Nio Petro namusubhya namubhwila ati, “Nulole, chisigile bhyona nichikulubha awe. Mbe chilija kulamila chinuki?”
Then Peter [Rock] answered, “Behold, we have left everything, and followed you. What then will we have?”
28 Yesu nabhabhwila ati, “Nichimali enibhabhwila, oyo andubhile anye, mulwibhulo oluyaya akatungu Omwana we Adamu ao aliyanja kuchitebhe chaye cha ingoma echa likusho lyae, emwe ona muliyanja kubhitebhe ekumi na bhibhili ebhya ingoma, nimusosha indamu ku nganda ekumi ne bhili eja Israeli.
Yeshua [Salvation] said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on the throne of his glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel [God prevails].
29 Bhuli munu unu asigile inyumba, omumulawabho, muyalawabho, esemwene, nyilamwene, abhana, amo lisambu kulwa injuno ya lisina lyani, alilamila kwiya ngendo egana nokulya omwandu gwo obhuwanga bhwa kajanende. (aiōnios g166)
Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
30 Nawe bhanu bhali bho kwamba olyanu, bhalibha bhokumalisha, na bhanu bhali kubhumalisho Bhai libhanja bhokwamba.”
But many will be last who are first; and first who are last.
