Abhaefeso 6

1 Abhana mungwega abhebhusi bhemwe mu Latabhugenyi, kulwokubha bhunu nibhwo echimali.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord; for this is right.

2 “Ubhayega esomwana na nyokomwana”(Kulwokubha chinu nicho echilagilo cho kwamba chinu chili no mulago),

“Honor thy father and mother;” which is the first commandment with a promise;

3 “koleleki ubhe na libhando ubhone okwikala bhulame bhulela ingulu ye chalo.”

“that it may be well with thee, and thou mayst live long on the earth.”

4 Nemwe ona bhalata, mutabhakailaga abhana nimubhakola nibhabha na lisungu, nawe, mubhalele kwokubhatongela na mumalagililo ga Latabhugenyi.

And, ye fathers, stir not up the anger of your children, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

5 Emwe abhagaya, mubhega bhololo ku bhesebhugenyi bhemwe abhakuchalo anu kwokungwa no kuyalala kwo bhubha kunu okusoka mumiyo jemwe. mubhe bhalengelesi kubhene lwa kutyo muli bhalengelesi ku Kristo.

Bond-servants, obey your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as serving Christ;

6 Okungwa kwemwe bhutabhaga ati bhasobhugenyi bhemwe bhalabhalolaga kwo kubhakondelesha. Nawe, mubhe bhalengesi lwa bhagaya bha Kristo. Mkole Elyenda lya Nyamuanga okusoka mumiyo jemwe,

not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but as bond-servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

7 mubhakolele kwe mioyo jemwe jona, kulwokubha omumukolela Latabhugenyi na atali mwana munu,

doing service with good will, as to the Lord, and not to men;

8 jibheile mumenye ati muchikolwa chekisi chinu kakola omunu, alilamila echiyanwa okusoka ku Latabhugenyi, akabha abhee mugaya nolo unu ali mwibhule.

knowing that whatever good each one shall have done, that shall he receive from the Lord, whether he be bondman or free.

9 Emwona bhesebhugenyi mukole kutyo kutyo kubhagaya bhemwe. Mutajaga kubhakanga mumenyati omwene unu ali Latabhugenyi wa bhona ni unu ali mulwile. Mumenyati bhutalio bhusolole munda yae.

And, ye masters, do the same things to them, forbearing threatening; knowing that both they and you have a Master in heaven, and that there is no respect of persons with him.

10 Mbe, mubhe na managa ku Latabhugenyi na mubhutulo bhwa managa gae.

Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Mufwale ebhigwato bhyona bhya Nyamuanga, koleleki mubhone okwimelegulu mubhulige lige bhwa shetani.

Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil;

12 Kulwokubha obhulemo bhweswe bhutali bhwa nsagama na nyama, tali ni bhwobhukama no bhuinga bhwo mwoyo nabhatungi bhe chalo cho bhunyamuke ne chisute, ingulu ya masabhwa mulubhala lwo lwile. (aiōn g165)

for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of evil in the heavenly regions. (aiōn g165)

13 Kulwejo, mufwale ebhigwato bhyona ebhya Nyamuanga, mubhone okukomela ingulu yo bhunyamuke mumwanya gunu omunyamuke. Mukamala bhuli chinu, mulimelegulu.

Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Mbe mwimeleguluga mutengejeyaye. Mkole kutya mukamala okwibhoya emikanda muchimali no bhulengelesi muchifubha.

Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breast-plate of righteousness,

15 Mkole kutya mukabha mwafwae okwimalilila mumagulu gemwe go kulasha emisango jo bhwana ejo mulembe.

and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Bhuli lubhala mugega echuma cho kwikilisha, inu eitula okusimya amakoma ga uliya omubhibhi.

taking up, in addition to all, the shield of faith, by which ye will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the Evil One;

17 Mufwale ingofila yo mwelulo no bhupanga bhwo Mwoyo, bhunu bhuli msango gwa Nyamuanga.

and receive the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

18 amwi na lisabha najisala. Musabhwega kwo Mwoyo bhuli mwanya. Kwo lususo lunu mubhega bhengeso bhuli mwanya kwo kwiyumaganya kwona na lisabha ingulu ya bhekilisha bhona.

praying with all prayer and entreaty at all times in the Spirit; and watching to this end with all perseverance and entreaty for all the saints,

19 Musabhwe ingulu yani, koleleki niyanibhwe omusango gunu gulafumbula omunwa gwani. Musabhwe ati nimenyesibhwe kwe chimali chinu chiselekele ingulu ye misango jo bhwana.

and for me, that utterance may be given me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,

20 Na ingulu ye misango jo bhwana anye nili mutangasi unu nibhoelwe olunyolo koleleki munda yebhwe naike kwa libhasi lwa kutyo jinyiile okwaika.

in behalf of which I am an ambassador in chains; that I may proclaim it boldly, as I ought to speak.

21 Nawe emwe ona mumenye emisango jani nakutyo ejigendelela, Tikiko omuili wani omwendwa no mukosi mulengelesi mu Latabhugenyi, kabhamenyesha bhuli chinu.

But that ye also may know about me, how I am faring, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will inform you of everything;

22 Namutuma kwemwe kwainsonga inu yabhusibhusi, koleleki mumenye emisango ingulu yeswe, abhone okubhafungamya emyoyo jemwe.

whom I have sent to you for this very purpose, that ye may know about us, and that he may comfort your hearts.

23 Omulembe gubhe kubhaili, ne lyenda ne likisha okusoka ku Nyamuanga lata na Latabhugenyi Yesu Kristo.

Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

24 Echigongo chibhwe amwi na bhona bhanu abhamwenda Latabhugenyi Yesu Kristo kwe lyenda linu litakufwa.

Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an incorruptible love.
