Abhaefeso 2

1 Lwakutyo aliga mufuye mu bhikayo na mubhibhibhi bhyemwe.

And you has he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

2 Jaliga jilyati kala mwagendaga okulubhana no mwanya gwe chalo chinu. Mwaliga nimugenda kwo kulubha omutangasha wo bhuinga bhwa mulutumba. Gunu nigwo omwoyo gwae unu kakola emilimu mu bhana bhwo bhujabhi. (aiōn g165)

Wherein in time past all of you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit (pneuma) that now works in the children of disobedience: (aiōn g165)

3 Eswe bhona anu kubhwambilo aliga chili amwi mwa bhanu bhatekilishaga. Chaliga nichikumisha ogomubhili no obhwiganilisha bhweswe. Chaliga chili bhobhusimuka bha lisungu lwa bhanu bhandi.

Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

4 Nawe Nyamuanga ni mwamfu we chigongo kulwelyenda lyae enene linu achendele eswe.

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love (agape) wherewith he loved us,

5 Omwanya gunu chaliga chili bhafu ku lwe bhikayo bhyeswe, achiletele amwi mubhulame bhuyaya munda ya Kristo. Ni kwe chigongo chakisibhwe.

Even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together with Christ, (by grace all of you are saved; )

6 Nyamuanga achisuluye amwi no kuchikola okwikala amwi mulwile munda ya Kristo Yesu.

And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7 Akolele kutya koleleki omwanya gunu oguja obhone okuchelesha obhunibhi bhunene ku lwe chigongo chae. Kacholesha eswe kwa injila yo bhufula bhwae munda ya Kristo Yesu. (aiōn g165)

That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. (aiōn g165)

8 Ku lwechigongo mwachunguhye ku lwelikisha. Na inu itasokele kwiswe. Ni chiyanwa cha Nyamuanga.

For by grace are all of you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Itakusokana mu bhikolwa. atajakubhao umwi mwimwe owokwikuya.

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10 Kulwokubha eswe chili milimu ja Nyamuanga, chimogelwe mu Kristo Yesu okukola ebhikolwa bhyo bhwana. Nibhikolwa bhinu Nyamuanga ateewo osoka kala ingulu yeswe, koleleki chilibhate mwago.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.

11 Kulwejo mwichuke ati kala eyo yaliga mulibhanu bha manyamahanga ku lwa ingulu yo mubhili. Mubhilikilwa bhanu “bhanu mutatendele” kulwachinu echibhilikilwa okutenda kwo mubhili inu eikolwa kwa mabhoko go mwana munu.

Wherefore remember, that all of you being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

12 Kumwanya ogwo yaliga mwauhye na Kristo. Mwaliga mulibhagenyi ku bhanu bha Israel. Yaliga muli bhagenyi ku mulago. Aliga mutana bwiikanyo bhwo mwanya gunu gwajaga. Mwaliga mutana Nyamuanga muchalo.

That at that time all of you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

13 Nawe woli mu Yesu Kristo emwe bhanu kubhwambilo yaliga mulikula na Nyamuanga muletelwe yeyi ku lwa insagama ya Kristo.

But now in Christ Jesus all of you who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

14 Kulwokubha omwene niwe omulembe gweswe. Akolele bhabhili okubha umwi. Ku lwomubhili gwae anyamuye indugu yo kusololwa inu yaliga ichisololele, obhusoko.

For he is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

15 Mbe, asimagisishe ebhilagilo na katungilwe koleleki akole munu umwi munda yae. Nakola omulembe.

Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; in order to make in himself of two one new man, so making peace;

16 Akolele kutya koleleki abhate amwi maijo gabhili ga bhanu bhabhwe mubhili gumwi ku Nyamuanga okulabhila omusabha. Ku lwo musalabha abhuselekele obhusoko.

And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

17 Yesu ejile no kulasha omulembe kwimwe emwe bhanu mwaliga mulikula no mulembe na bhanu bhaliga bhali yeyi.

And came and preached peace to you which were far off, and to them that were nigh.

18 Kulwokubha kwa injila ya Yesu eswe bhona bhabhili chili no bhwanya ku Mwoyo umwi okwingila ku Lata. Kulwejo woli, emwe abhanu

For through him we both have access by one Spirit (pneuma) unto the Father.

19 bha bhanyamahanga mutali lindi bhagosoye na bhagenyilindi. Tali muli bhekasi amwi na bhanu mwauhye kulwainsonga ya Nyamuanga na bhakosi munyumba ya Nyamuanga.

Now therefore all of you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

20 Mumbakilwe ingulu yo musingi gwa jintumwa na bhalagi. Kristo Yesu omwenene aliga alibhuyi ekulu lya kumbali.

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

21 Ku mwene liyumba lyona lyumbakilwe no kubha kuti heyekalu munda ya Latabhugenyi.

In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto an holy temple in the Lord:

22 Ni munda ya emwe ona mumbakilwe amwi kuti lubhaju lwo kwikala ku Nyamuanga mu Mwoyo.

In whom all of you also are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. (pneuma)
