and begged of him letters addressed to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any that were of the Way, either men or women, he could bind them and bring them to Jerusalem.
3 Anu aliga achalibhata, nijibhonekana ati ejile elila ayei na Damesiki, nechula bhwangu obhwelu nibhumusekanila one one obhwelu okusoka mulwile,'
And as he journeyed, when he was approaching Damascus, suddenly a light from heaven flashed round him.
4 omwene nagwa ansi nogwa obhulaka nibhumubhwila,”Sauli, Sauli, kulwaki ounyasha anye?”
He fell to the ground, and heard a voice which said to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?"
5 Sauli nasubhya, ka awe nawega Latabhugenyi? Latabhugenyi naika ati,”anye nanye Yesu unu ounyasha;
And he said, "Who are you Lord?"
6 mbe nawe imuka, wingile mu musi, oujokubhwilwa ganu geile okukola
"I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," he said. "Stand up and go into the city, and there you shall be told what you must do."
7 Abhanu bhalya bhanu bhalibhataga amwi na sauli nibhajibhila jibhi, nibhogwa obhulaka, bhatalolele munu.
Meanwhile the men who were his fellow travelers stood speechless, hearing indeed the voice, but beholding no one.
8 Mbe Sauli nemuka ansi ejile abhandula ameso gae, atabhwene chinu, nibhamugwata okubhoko nibhamuleta okukinga Damesiki.
And Saul got up from the ground, but although his eyes were open, he continued to perceive nothing; so they took him by the hand and led him into Damascus.
9 ku nsiku esatu atakulola, nolwo kulya, amwi kunywa.
And he remained there three days, seeing nothing, and without eating or drinking.
10 Mbe aliga alio mwiigisibhwa Damesiki lisina lyae Anania, Latabugenyi aikile nage mu bhilolo, “Anania.” Naika ati, “lola, nilio anu Latabugenyi.
Now there was in Damascus a disciple named Ananias, and the Lord spoke to him in a vision, saying, "Ananias!" And he answered, "Lo, I am here, Lord."
11 “Latabugenyi namubhwila, “Imuka ugende mu luguyo lunu olutogwa olugololoke, mu nyumbha ya Yuda mbe ubhusilishe alimo omunu asokele Tarso kabhilikilwa Sauli; kulwo kubha na oli kasabhwa;
And the Lord said to him. "Arise, go into the street named ‘Straight,’ and make inquiries in the house of Judas for a man of Tarsus, one Saul.
12 Aliga amulolele mu bhilolo omunu unu lisina lyae Anania nengila no kumutelako amabhoko ingulu yae koleleki alole.
He is now praying, and has seen a man named Ananias enter and lay his hands on him to restore his sight."
13 Mbe nawe Anania nasubhya ati, “Latabugenyi, nonguywe misango jo munu unu mu bhanu bhafu, jinu jitakutula kumenyekana ati ni kutiki lwa kutyo abhakoleye amabhibhi abhelu bhanu bhali eyo Yerusalemu;
"But, Lord," said Ananias, "I have heard from many about that man, and how much evil he did to the saints at Jerusalem!
14 Anu aliga ali na malagililo okusoka ku mugabhisi mukulu okumugwata bhuli umwi unu kalibhilikila lisina lyao.
"In this city, too, he has authority from the chief priests to arrest all those who call upon thy name."
15 Mbe nawe Latabugenyi namubhwila ati, “Genda kulwo kubha mwenene ni chimogwa chisolwa kwanye, koleleki aligege lisina lyani ku maanga na mu
"Go," answered the Lord, "this man is chosen instrument of mine to bear my name before the nations and their kings, and before the Children of Israel also;
16 bhakama na mu bhana bha Israel. Kulwo kubha enija okubhelesha mafu ganu gamwiile okunyasibhwa kulwa lisina lyani”.
"for I am going to show him all he has to suffer for the sake of my name."
17 Anania nagenda, nengila mu nyumbha ilya; namutelako amabhoko naika, wasu Sauli, Latabugenyi Yesu, oyo akubhonekee ku njila anu waliga nu uja, antumile koleleki ulole lindi na wijusibhwe na Mwoyo mwelu.
And so Ananias went and entered into the house, and laying his hands on him, said, "Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, who appeared to you on your journey, has sent me that you may receive your sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit."
18 Ao nao nibhilagala ebhinu nibhisoka mu meso gae kuti bhikambha, nalola, nemelegulu, nabhatijibhwa, nalya ebhilyo no kubhona amanaga.
Instantly something like scales fell from his eyes, and he received his sight. He arose and was baptized.
19 Nenyanja amwi na beigisibwa eyo Damesiki nsiku nyafu.
Afterward he took food and was strengthened. And he remained for some time with the disciples at Damascus.
20 Mu mwanya ogwo ogwo namukumusha Yesu mu mekofyanyisho, naika ati mwenene ni mwana wa Nyamuanga.
And he began at once to proclaim in the synagogues Jesus as the Son of God.
21 Bhona bhanu bhonguywe bhatang'ang'ae no kwaika,”atali omunu unu aliga nanyasha bhone bhanu bhabhilikie lisina linu eyo Yerusalemu? Anu one ejile kwa insonga yo kubhabhoya no kubhasila kubhagabhisi.”
His hearers were all astonished, and began to say. "Is not this the very man who in Jerusalem made havoc of those who called upon the Name? Did he not come hither for the express purpose of carrying them all in chains to the high priests?"
22 Mbe nawe Sauli asakiywe mu kusimula no kubhakola Abhayaudi bhanu bhaliga bhekae Damesiki na nibhagandasibhwa no kubhakomelesha ati unu niwe masiya (kristo).
But Saul gained more and more influence, and kept putting the Jews who lived in Damascus to confusion by his proof that Jesus was the Christ.
23 Jejile jatulao nsiku nyafu, Abhayaudi nibhalwajisha amwi koleleki bhamwit.
And when many days were fulfilled the Jews made a plot to kill Saul;
24 Mbe nawe obhwilige-lige bhwebhwe nibhumenyekana na Sauli. nibhamutegela ku mulyango mu mwisi na mungeta koleleki bhamwite.
but information of their plot was given Saul, and although they kept watch day and night on the gates, in order to make away with him,
25 Nawe abheigisibhwa bhae nibhamugega mungeta nibhamwisisha ku ndugu, kenu Ali mwikapo nibhamwisha kukinga Ansi.
his disciples took him by night, and let him down over the wall, lowering him in a basket.
26 Sauli ejile akinga Yerusalemu, alegejishe okubha amwi na bheigisibhwa nawe bhaliga nibhamubhaya, bhaliga bhatakwikilisha ati mwenene one ni mwiigisibhwa.
So he came to Jerusalem, and attempted to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, because they did not believe that he was a disciple.
27 Mbe nawe Barnaba namugega namsila ku ntumwa no kubhelesha lwa kutyo Sauli amubhwene Latabugenyi mu njila na lwa kutyo Latabugenyi aikile nage, lwa kutyo Sauli asimue kwo bhubhasi kubhwa lisina lya Yesu eyo Damesiki.
But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles, and told them how Saul had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him; and also how he had preached the Name of the Lord Jesus boldly at Damascus.
28 Abhugangene nabho anu bhaliga nibhengila no kuuluka okusoka mu Yerusalemu. Naika kwo bhubhasi kulwa lisina lya Latabungenyi Yesu,
Henceforth Saul was one of them, going in and out of the city, and speaking fearlessly in the Name of the Lord.
29 nabhambashanya na Bhayaudi bhe chiyunani nawe kwiya kafu nibhalegeja okumwita.
He also used to hold conversations and debates with the Grecian Jews, but they kept trying to kill him.
30 Abhaili bhejile bhamenya omusango ogwo, nibhamugega okukinga kaisaria, no kumusila aje Tarso.
When they learned this the brothers took him down to Caesarea, and then sent him forth to Tarsus.
31 Mbe likanisa lyona mu bhuyaudi, Galilaya na Samaria nilibha no mulembhe no kumbhakwa, no kulibhatila mu bhubha bhwa Latabugenyi no kusilishanya kwa Mwoyo Mwelu; mbe likanisa nilikula na bhanu nibheyongesha.
Now throughout the whole of Judea, Galilee, and Samaria the Church continued to enjoy peace and to be spiritually built up. It was increasing in members also, as it kept walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
32 Anu Petro aliga neinda-inda kumabhala gone age misi Jone namala nabhekila abhekilisha bhona bhanu bhaliga bhekae mu misi ja Lida.
Now Peter, as he was going from town to town, came down also to the saints who lived in Lydda.

Peter said to him. "Aeneas, Jesus Christ cures you! Rise and make your own bed!"
35 Abhanu bhona bhanu bhaliga bhekae Lida na Sharon bhejile bhamulola omunu oyo, nibhamuindukila Latabugenyi.
At once he rose to his feet. All the people of Lydda and Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.

Among the disciples at Joppa was a woman named Tabitha - which may be translated Dorcas or "Gazelle" - a woman whose life was full of good works and almsgiving, which she was doing continually.
37 Jabhonekene mu nsiku ejo alwae nafwa; bhejile bhamwosha, nibhamulinya mu chumbha cha ingulu no kumumamya.
She, as it happened, was taken ill just at that time, and died. After washing her body, they laid it in an upper room.
38 kulwo kubha Lida yaliga ayei na Yafa, na bheigisibhwa bhejile bhongwa ati Petro alio, nibhabhatuma bhanu bhabhili ku mwene, nibhamulembeleja, “nu uje kwiswe wasiga kukola.
And as Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, when they heard that Peter was there, sent two men to him with the entreaty, "Delay not to come to us."
39 Petro nemuka nagenda amwi nabho. Ejile akinga, nibhamuleta mu chumba cha ingulu. Mbe abhatumbagasi bhona nibhemelegulu ayei nage nibhalila, nibhamwelesha likoti na jingubho jinu Dorcas abhasonee mu mwanya ogwo aliga ali amwi nabho.
So Peter arose and went with them. On his arrival they took him up- stairs, and all the widows stood near him, weeping, and showing him the cloaks and garments which Dorcas used to make, while she was still with them.
40 Petro nabhaulusha bhona anja nibhasoka mu chumbha, nafukama nasabhwa okumala naguindukila omubhili, naika ati, “Tabitha, imuka”. Nabhandula ameso gae ejile amulola Petro Nenyanja ansi.
But Peter put them all out, and kneeled down, and prayed; and then turning to the body, he said, "Tabitha, rise!" She opened her eyes, and on seeing Peter she sat up.
41 Okumala Petro namuyana okubhoko kwae namwinamusha, mbe ejile abhabhilikila abhekilisha na abhatumbhagasi, namubhayana bhenene ali muanga.
Then he gave her his hand and raised her up, and after calling the saints and the widows, he gave her back to them alive.
42 omusango ogwo nigumenyekana mu Yafa yone, na bhanu bhafu nibhamwikilisha Latabugenyi.
This incident became known throughout Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.
43 Njibhonekana Petro nenyanja Yafa mwanya mulela amwi no munu unu aliga nabhilikilwa Simoni, unu aliga nayasha jinjai.
Peter stayed for some time in Joppa, lodging in the house of Simon, the tanner.
