ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ 2
1 ೧ “ಎಫೆಸದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಭೆಯ ದೂತನಿಗೆ ಬರೆ, ಏಳು ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡುಏಳು ಚಿನ್ನದ ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವಾತನು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನಂದರೆ,
'To the messenger of the Ephesian assembly write: These things saith he who is holding the seven stars in his right hand, who is walking in the midst of the seven lamp-stands — the golden:
2 ೨ “ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಪ್ರಯಾಸವನ್ನೂ, ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಬಲ್ಲೆನು. ನೀನು ದುರ್ಜನರನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಲಾರೆ, ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರನ್ನು ನೀನುಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಾರರೆಂದು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆ.
I have known thy works, and thy labour, and thy endurance, and that thou art not able to bear evil ones, and that thou hast tried those saying themselves to be apostles and are not, and hast found them liars,
3 ೩ ನೀನು ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಬಾಧೆಯನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗದೆ ಇದ್ದುದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು.
and thou didst bear, and hast endurance, and because of my name hast toiled, and hast not been weary.
'But I have against thee: That thy first love thou didst leave!
5 ೫ ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವಿಯೋ ಅದನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೋ. ಮಾನಸಾಂತರಪಟ್ಟು ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿನೀನು ಮೊದಲು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡು. ನೀನು ಮಾನಸಾಂತರಪಡದಿದ್ದರೆನಾನು ಬಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕುವೆನು.
remember, then, whence thou hast fallen, and reform, and the first works do; and if not, I come to thee quickly, and will remove thy lamp-stand from its place — if thou mayest not reform;
6 ೬ ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು ಒಂದುಂಟು, ಅದೇನೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವನಿಕೊಲಾಯಿತರ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೀನೂ ಸಹ ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಿ.
but this thou hast, that thou dost hate the works of the Nicolaitans, that I also hate.
7 ೭ ದೇವರಾತ್ಮನು ಸಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನುಕಿವಿಯುಳ್ಳವನು ಕೇಳಲಿ. ಯಾವನು ಜಯಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅವನಿಗೆದೇವರ ಪರದೈಸಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವಜೀವದಾಯಕ ವೃಕ್ಷದ ಹಣ್ಣನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
He who is having an ear — let him hear what the Spirit saith to the assemblies: To him who is overcoming — I will give to him to eat of the tree of life that is in the midst of the paradise of God.
8 ೮ “ಸ್ಮುರ್ನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಭೆಯ ದೂತನಿಗೆ ಬರೆ, ಆದಿಯು, ಅಂತ್ಯವೂ ಆಗಿರುವಾತನು, ಸತ್ತವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಜೀವಿತನಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ಬಂದಾತನೂಹೇಳುವುದೇನಂದರೆ,
'And to the messenger of the assembly of the Smyrneans write: These things saith the First and the Last, who did become dead and did live;
9 ೯ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಕಟವನ್ನೂನಿನ್ನ ಬಡತನವನ್ನೂ ಬಲ್ಲೆನು, ಆದರೂ ನೀನು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನೇ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ದೂಷಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು. ಅವರು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲ, ಸೈತಾನನಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
I have known thy works, and tribulation, and poverty — yet thou art rich — and the evil-speaking of those saying themselves to be Jews, and are not, but [are] a synagogue of the Adversary.
10 ೧೦ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಬಾಧೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆದರಬೇಡ. ಇಗೋ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಸೈತಾನನು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹಾಕುವುದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಮತ್ತುಹತ್ತು ದಿನಗಳ ತನಕ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಂಕಟವಿರುವುದು. ನೀನು ಸಾಯುವ ತನಕನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನಾಗಿರು, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆಜೀವದ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
'Be not afraid of the things that thou art about to suffer; lo, the devil is about to cast of you to prison, that ye may be tried, and ye shall have tribulation ten days; become thou faithful unto death, and I will give to thee the crown of the life.
11 ೧೧ ದೇವರಾತ್ಮನು ಸಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನುಕಿವಿಯುಳ್ಳವನು ಕೇಳಲಿ. ಜಯಹೊಂದುವವನಿಗೆಎರಡನೆಯ ಮರಣದಿಂದ ಕೇಡಾಗುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
He who is having an ear — let him hear what the Spirit saith to the assemblies: He who is overcoming may not be injured of the second death.
'And to the messenger of the assembly in Pergamos write: These things saith he who is having the sharp two-edged sword:
13 ೧೩ ನೀನು ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು. ಅದು ಸೈತಾನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿದೆ. ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವಿ. ಸೈತಾನನ ನಿವಾಸವಾದ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾದ ಅಂತಿಪನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗಲೂ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
I have known thy works, and where thou dost dwell — where the throne of the Adversary [is] — and thou dost hold fast my name, and thou didst not deny my faith, even in the days in which Antipas [was] my faithful witness, who was put to death beside you, where the Adversary doth dwell.
14 ೧೪ ಕೆಲವು ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನನಗೆ ಅಪಾದನೆಗಳಿವೆ. ವಿಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ನೈವೇದ್ಯಮಾಡಿದ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವುದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂಜಾರತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಮುಗ್ಗರಿಸಿ ಬೀಳಬೇಕೆಂದುಬಿಳಾಮನು ಬಾಲಾಕನಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಸಿದ ದುರ್ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸಿರುವವರು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.
'But I have against thee a few things: That thou hast there those holding the teaching of Balaam, who did teach Balak to cast a stumbling-block before the sons of Israel, to eat idol-sacrifices, and to commit whoredom;
so hast thou, even thou, those holding the teaching of the Nicolaitans — which thing I hate.
16 ೧೬ ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಟ್ಟು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಿದ್ದರೆನಾನು ಬೇಗನೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದುನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಬರುವ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
'Reform! and if not, I come to thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
17 ೧೭ ದೇವರಾತ್ಮನು ಸಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನು ಕಿವಿಯುಳ್ಳವನು ಕೇಳಲಿ. ಯಾವನು ಜಯಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅವನಿಗೆಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟಿರುವಮನ್ನವೆಂಬ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬಿಳೀಕಲ್ಲನ್ನೂ ಆ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆತ್ತಿದಹೊಸ ಹೆಸರನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುವೆನು. ಆ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವನಿಗೇ ಹೊರತು ಅದು ಮತ್ತಾರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯದು.
He who is having an ear — let him hear what the Spirit saith to the assemblies: To him who is overcoming, I will give to him to eat from the hidden manna, and will give to him a white stone, and upon the stone a new name written, that no one knew except him who is receiving [it].
18 ೧೮ “ಥುವತೈರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಭೆಯ ದೂತನಿಗೆ ಬರೆ, ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯಂತಿರುವ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳೂ ಹೊಳೆಯುವ ತಾಮ್ರದಂತಿರುವ ಪಾದಗಳುಳ್ಳ ದೇವಕುಮಾರನು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನಂದರೆ,
'And to the messenger of the assembly of Thyatira write: These things saith the Son of God, who is having his eyes as a flame of fire, and his feet like to fine brass;
19 ೧೯ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ, ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ಬಲ್ಲೆನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೊದಲಿನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಮೇಲಾದದ್ದು ಎಂದು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು.
I have known thy works, and love, and ministration, and faith, and thy endurance, and thy works — and the last [are] more than the first.
20 ೨೦ ನಿನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನನಗೆ ಅಪಾದನೆ ಒಂದಿದೆ. ಯೆಜೆಬೇಲೆಂಬ ಆ ಹೆಂಗಸು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿನಿಯೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು, ಜಾರತ್ವಮಾಡಬಹುದೆಂದೂವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ನೈವೇದ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಹುದೆಂದೂ ನನ್ನ ದಾಸರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ನೀನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ತಡೆಯದೆ ಅನುಮತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವಿ.
'But I have against thee a few things: That thou dost suffer the woman Jezebel, who is calling herself a prophetess, to teach, and to lead astray, my servants to commit whoredom, and idol-sacrifices to eat;
21 ೨೧ ಜಾರತ್ವವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪದಿಂದ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು, ಆದರೆ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
and I did give to her a time that she might reform from her whoredom, and she did not reform;
22 ೨೨ ಇಗೋ, ಅವಳು ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಮಾಡುವವರು ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪದಿಂದ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಿಡದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಹಾ ಸಂಕಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
lo, I will cast her into a couch, and those committing adultery with her into great tribulation — if they may not repent of their works,
23 ೨೩ ಅವಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವೆನು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಅಂತರಿಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆಂಬುದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದು. ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೂ ಅವನವನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
and her children I will kill in death, and know shall all the assemblies that I am he who is searching reins and hearts; and I will give to you — to each — according to your works.
24 ೨೪ “ಆದರೆ ಥುವತೈರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಉಳಿದವರಿಗೆ, ಅಂದರೆ ಸೈತಾನನಿಂದ ಪ್ರೇರಿತವಾದ ದುರ್ಬೋಧನೆಯ ಆಳವನ್ನು ಯಾರಾರು ತಿಳಿಯದೆಯೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸದೆಯೂ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೋ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದೇನಂದರೆ, ನಾನುಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಭಾರವನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
'And to you I say, and to the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as have not this teaching, and who did not know the depths of the Adversary, as they say; I will not put upon you other burden;
but that which ye have — hold ye, till I may come;
26 ೨೬ ಯಾವನು ಜಯಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆಯಾದ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನುಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ನಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೋ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಂತೆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು.‘ಅವನುಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಕೋಲಿನಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಳುವನು, ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಮಡಿಕೆಗಳು ಒಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ಅವರ ಬಲ ಮುರಿದು ಹೋಗುವುದು.’ ಇದಲ್ಲದೆಉದಯ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರವನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
and he who is overcoming, and who is keeping unto the end my works, I will give to him authority over the nations,
27 ೨೭
and he shall rule them with a rod of iron — as the vessels of the potter they shall be broken — as I also have received from my Father;
28 ೨೮
and I will give to him the morning star.
He who is having an ear — let him hear what the Spirit saith to the assemblies.
