ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 91

1 ೧ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತನಾದ ದೇವರ ಮೊರೆಹೊಕ್ಕವನು, ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತನಾಗಿರುವನು.

Who so dwelleth in the secrete of the most High, shall abide in the shadowe of the Almightie.

2 ೨ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನೇ ನನ್ನ ಶರಣನು, ನನ್ನ ದುರ್ಗವು, ನಾನು ಭರವಸವಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವೆನು.

I will say vnto the Lord, O mine hope, and my fortresse: he is my God, in him will I trust.

3 ೩ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಟೆಗಾರನ ಬಲೆಯಿಂದಲೂ, ಮರಣಕರ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವವನು ಆತನೇ.

Surely he will deliuer thee from the snare of the hunter, and from the noysome pestilence.

4 ೪ ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊದಗಿಸುವನು; ಆತನ ಪಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ಮರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ. ಆತನ ಸತ್ಯತೆಯೇ ನನಗೆ ಖೇಡ್ಯವೂ, ಗುರಾಣಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದೆ.

Hee will couer thee vnder his winges, and thou shalt be sure vnder his feathers: his trueth shall be thy shielde and buckler.

5 ೫ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವ ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಹಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾರಿಬರುವ ಬಾಣಕ್ಕೂ,

Thou shalt not be afraide of the feare of the night, nor of the arrowe that flyeth by day:

6 ೬ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವ ವಿಪತ್ತಿಗೂ, ಹಾನಿಕರವಾದ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ಕೇಡಿಗೂ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.

Nor of the pestilence that walketh in the darkenesse: nor of the plague that destroyeth at noone day.

7 ೭ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗ್ಗುಲಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು, ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು ಸತ್ತು ಬಿದ್ದರೂ ನಿನಗೇನೂ ತಟ್ಟದು.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and tenne thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come neere thee.

8 ೮ ನೀನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಂಡು, ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆಯುಂಟು ಎಂಬುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿರುವಿಯಷ್ಟೆ.

Doubtlesse with thine eyes shalt thou beholde and see the reward of the wicked.

9 ೯ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ನನ್ನ ಶರಣನು! ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತನಾದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನಿವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಿಯಲ್ಲಾ.

For thou hast said, The Lord is mine hope: thou hast set the most High for thy refuge.

10 ೧೦ ಯಾವ ಕೇಡೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸದು; ಉಪದ್ರವವು ನಿನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರದ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೂ ಬಾರದು.

There shall none euill come vnto thee, neither shall any plague come neere thy tabernacle.

11 ೧೧ ನೀನು ಹೋಗುವಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ದೂತರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡುವನು.

For hee shall giue his Angels charge ouer thee to keepe thee in all thy wayes.

12 ೧೨ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾಲು ಕಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತಗಲದಂತೆ, ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.

They shall beare thee in their handes, that thou hurt not thy foote against a stone.

13 ೧೩ ಸಿಂಹ ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ಪಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆಯುವಿ; ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸಿಂಹವನ್ನೂ, ಘಟಸರ್ಪವನ್ನೂ ತುಳಿದುಬಿಡುವಿ.

Thou shalt walke vpon the lyon and aspe: the yong lyon and the dragon shalt thou treade vnder feete.

14 ೧೪ ಅವನು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಕ್ತನಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವೆನು; ನನ್ನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಅರಿತವನಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಉದ್ಧರಿಸುವೆನು.

Because he hath loued me, therefore will I deliuer him: I will exalt him because hee hath knowen my Name.

15 ೧೫ ಅವನು ನನಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವಾಗ ಸದುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸುವೆನು; ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತಿರವಿದ್ದು ಅವನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಘನಪಡಿಸುವೆನು;

He shall call vpon me, and I wil heare him: I will be with him in trouble: I will deliuer him, and glorifie him.

16 ೧೬ ದೀರ್ಘಾಯುಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ, ಅವನನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸುವೆನು; ನನ್ನ ವಿಶೇಷವಾದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವೆನು.

With long life wil I satisfie him, and shew him my saluation.
