ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 73

1 ೧ ದುಷ್ಟರ ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಭ್ರಷ್ಟರಾಗಬಾರದೆಂಬ ಬೋಧನೆ ದೇವರು ನಿರ್ಮಲಚಿತ್ತರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ದಯಾಪರನೇ ಹೌದು.

A Psalm of Asaph. Only — good to Israel [is] God, to the clean of heart. And I — as a little thing, My feet have been turned aside,

2 ೨ ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳು ಜಾರಿದವುಗಳೇ; ನನ್ನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳು ತಪ್ಪಿದವುಗಳೇ.

As nothing, have my steps slipped, For I have been envious of the boastful,

3 ೩ ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ದುಷ್ಟರ ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಸೊಕ್ಕಿನವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಗೊಂಡೆನು.

The peace of the wicked I see, That there are no bands at their death,

4 ೪ ಅವರ ಮರಣವು ನಿರ್ಬಾಧಕವಾಗಿದೆ; ಅವರ ದೇಹವು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದೆ.

And their might [is] firm.

5 ೫ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಭಾಗಿಗಳಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಇತರರಿಗೆ ತಗುಲುವಂತೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಂಟುರೋಗವೂ ತಗುಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

In the misery of mortals they are not, And with common men they are not plagued.

6 ೬ ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಗರ್ವವು ಕಂಠಮಾಲೆಯಾಗಿದೆ; ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರವು ಉಡುಪಾಗಿದೆ.

Therefore hath pride encircled them, Violence covereth them as a dress.

7 ೭ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನಿಂದ ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಉಬ್ಬಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ; ಅವರ ದುಷ್ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳು ತುಂಬಿತುಳುಕುತ್ತವೆ.

Their eye hath come out from fat. The imaginations of the heart transgressed;

8 ೮ ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿ ಕೆಡುಕಿನ ವಿಷಯ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರನಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಕೊಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾರೆ.

They do corruptly, And they speak in the wickedness of oppression, From on high they speak.

9 ೯ ತಾವು ಮೇಲುಲೋಕದವರೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಾಯಿಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರ ಮಾತೇ ಮುಂದು.

They have set in the heavens their mouth, And their tongue walketh in the earth.

10 ೧೦ ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಅವರ ಪಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ತಪ್ಪನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.

Therefore do His people return hither, And waters of fulness are wrung out to them.

11 ೧೧ ಅವರು “ದೇವರು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವುದೆಲ್ಲಿ? ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರು ಚಿಂತಿಸುವದುಂಟೋ” ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

And they have said, 'How hath God known? And is there knowledge in the Most High?'

12 ೧೨ ನೋಡಿರಿ, ದುಷ್ಟರು ಇಂಥವರೇ; ಅವರು ಸದಾ ಸುಖದಿಂದಿದ್ದು ಸ್ಥಿತಿವಂತರಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Lo, these [are] the wicked and easy ones of the age, They have increased strength.

13 ೧೩ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಲಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೂ, ಶುದ್ಧತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈತೊಳಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವೇ ಸರಿ.

Only — a vain thing! I have purified my heart, And I wash in innocency my hands,

14 ೧೪ ನಾನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಪೀಡಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ದಂಡಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೇನಲ್ಲಾ.

And I am plagued all the day, And my reproof [is] every morning.

15 ೧೫ ನಾನು ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಬಾಯಿಬಿಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಭಕ್ತಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು.

If I have said, 'I recount thus,' Lo, a generation of Thy sons I have deceived.

16 ೧೬ ನಾನು ಇದನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಚಿಂತಿಸಿದರೂ ಅದು ಒಂದು ಕಷ್ಟಕರವಾದ ಮರ್ಮವೆಂದು ತೋಚಿತು.

And I think to know this, Perverseness it [is] in mine eyes,

17 ೧೭ ಆದರೆ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವರ ಅಂತ್ಯಾವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿದಾಗ ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಯಿತು.

Till I come in to the sanctuaries of God, I attend to their latter end.

18 ೧೮ ಹೌದು, ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಪಾಯಕರ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು, ಬೀಳಿಸಿ, ನಾಶಮಾಡಿಬಿಡುತ್ತೀ.

Only, in slippery places Thou dost set them, Thou hast caused them to fall to desolations.

19 ೧೯ ಅವರು ನಿಮಿಷಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಭಯಂಕರ ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಂಹಾರವಾಗಿ ಮುಗಿದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.

How have they become a desolation as in a moment, They have been ended — consumed from terrors.

20 ೨೦ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾದವನು ಕನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ಏಳುವಾಗ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಾಯಾರೂಪರೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತೀ.

As a dream from awakening, O Lord, In awaking, their image Thou despisest.

21 ೨೧ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ನೊಂದುಹೋಗಿತ್ತು; ಆಂತರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲಗು ನೆಟ್ಟಂತಿತ್ತು.

For my heart doth show itself violent, And my reins prick themselves,

22 ೨೨ ನಾನು ವಿವೇಕಹೀನ ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲದವನಂತೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇವಲ ಪಶುವೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದೆನು.

And I am brutish, and do not know. A beast I have been with Thee.

23 ೨೩ ಆದರೂ ಸದಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ. ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು,

And I [am] continually with Thee, Thou hast laid hold on my right hand.

24 ೨೪ ನಿನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ ತರುವಾಯ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ.

With Thy counsel Thou dost lead me, And after honour dost receive me.

25 ೨೫ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ನೀನಲ್ಲದೆ ಮತ್ತಾರು ಅವಶ್ಯ? ಇಹಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನಲ್ಲದೆ ಇನ್ನಾರನ್ನೂ ಬಯಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

Whom have I in the heavens? And with Thee none I have desired in earth.

26 ೨೬ ತನುಮನಗಳು ಕ್ಷಯಿಸಿದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬಲವು ನನ್ನ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಪಾಲೂ ದೇವರೇ.

Consumed hath been my flesh and my heart, The rock of my heart and my portion [is] God to the age.

27 ೨೭ ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟವರು ನಾಶವಾಗುವರು; ನಿನಗೆ ದ್ರೋಹ ಮಾಡಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀ.

For, lo, those far from Thee do perish, Thou hast cut off every one, Who is going a whoring from Thee.

28 ೨೮ ನನಗಾದರೋ ದೇವರ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯವೇ ಭಾಗ್ಯವು. ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವೆನು.

And I — nearness of God to me [is] good, I have placed in the Lord Jehovah my refuge, To recount all Thy works!
