ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 59

1 ೧ ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ಅಲ್ತಷ್ಖೇತೆಂಬ ರಾಗ; ಸೌಲನ ಕಡೆಯವರು ದಾವೀದನ ಜೀವತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವನ ಮನೆಯ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಹೊಂಚುಹಾಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನು ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕಾವ್ಯ. ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸು; ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಭದ್ರಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿರಿಸು.

To him that excelleth. Destroy not. A Psalme of David on Michtam. When Saul sent and they did watch the house to kill him. O my God, deliuer mee from mine enemies: defend me from them that rise vp against me.

2 ೨ ಕೆಡುಕರಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸು; ಕೊಲೆಪಾತಕರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು.

Deliuer me from the wicked doers, and saue me from the bloody men.

3 ೩ ಇಗೋ, ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಂಚುಹಾಕುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಗುಂಪುಕೂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಯೂ ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯೂ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ!

For loe, they haue layd waite for my soule: the mightie men are gathered against me, not for mine offence, nor for my sinne, O Lord.

4 ೪ ನಿಷ್ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳಲು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಎದ್ದು ಬಂದು ಪರಾಂಬರಿಸಿ ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡು.

They runne and prepare themselues without a fault on my part: arise therefore to assist me, and beholde.

5 ೫ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀನು ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸು. ದುಷ್ಟದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೂ ದಯತೋರಿಸಬೇಡ. (ಸೆಲಾ)

Euen thou, O Lord God of hostes, O God of Israel awake to visit all the heathen, and be not merciful vnto all that transgresse maliciously. (Selah)

6 ೬ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿಸಾಯಂಕಾಲವೂ ಬಂದು ಬಂದು ನಾಯಿಗಳಂತೆ ಗುರುಗುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುತ್ತುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

They goe to and from in the euening: they barke like dogs, and goe about the citie.

7 ೭ ಇಗೋ, ಅವರ ಬಾಯಿಗಳು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಕ್ಕುತ್ತವೆ; ಅವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹರಿತವಾದ ಕತ್ತಿಗಳಂತಿವೆ, ಅವರು, “ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವರು ಯಾರು?” ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Behold, they brag in their talke, and swords are in their lips: for, Who, say they, doeth heare?

8 ೮ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನಾದರೋ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ನಗುವಿ; ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುವಿ.

But thou, O Lord, shalt haue them in derision, and thou shalt laugh at all the heathen.

9 ೯ ನನ್ನ ಬಲವೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯದುರ್ಗವು ದೇವರೇ.

He is strong: but I will waite vpon thee: for God is my defence.

10 ೧೦ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಮಹಾ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡುವನು; ನನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳಿಗುಂಟಾದ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವನು.

My mercifull God will preuent me: God wil let me see my desire vpon mine enemies.

11 ೧೧ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ಗುರಾಣಿಯೇ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಸಂಹರಿಸಬೇಡ. ನನ್ನ ಜನರು ಮರೆತುಬಿಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರು ಉಳಿಯಲಿ. ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇನಾಬಲದಿಂದ ಚದುರಿಸಿ, ಭ್ರಾಂತಿಯಿಂದ ಅಲೆದಾಡಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಬಿಡು.

Slay them not, least my people forget it: but scatter them abroad by thy power, and put them downe, O Lord our shield,

12 ೧೨ ಅವರ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಬರುವುದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪದ ಮಾತೇ. ಅವರ ಅಹಂಕಾರದಿಂದಲೇ ಅವರು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬೀಳಲಿ.

For the sinne of their mouth, and the words of their lips: and let them be taken in their pride, euen for their periurie and lies, that they speake.

13 ೧೩ ಅವರು ನುಡಿಯುವ ಶಾಪಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ಸುಳ್ಳಿಗಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅವರನ್ನು ರೌದ್ರದಿಂದ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ನಿರ್ನಾಮಗೊಳಿಸು. ಯಾಕೋಬನ ವಂಶದವರನ್ನು ಆಳುವವನು ದೇವರೇ ಎಂಬುದು, ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಲಿ. (ಸೆಲಾ)

Consume them in thy wrath: consume them that they be no more: and let them knowe that God ruleth in Iaakob, euen vnto the ends of the world. (Selah)

14 ೧೪ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿಸಾಯಂಕಾಲವೂ ಬಂದು ಬಂದು, ನಾಯಿಗಳಂತೆ ಗುರುಗುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುತ್ತುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.

And in the euening they shall go to and from, and barke like dogs, and go about the citie.

15 ೧೫ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅತ್ತಿತ್ತ ತಿರುಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಗಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾರೆ.

They shall runne here and there for meate: and surely they shall not be satisfied, though they tary all night.

16 ೧೬ ನಾನಾದರೋ, ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಯವೂ ದುರ್ಗವೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲವನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿ ಹೊಗಳುವೆನು; ಪ್ರಾತಃಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರೇಮವನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದಿಂದ ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು.

But I wil sing of thy power, and will prayse thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast bene my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

17 ೧೭ ನನ್ನ ಬಲವೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿಹರಸುವೆನು, ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯದುರ್ಗವೂ ಕೃಪಾನಿಧಿಯೂ ದೇವರೇ.

Vnto thee, O my Strength, wil I sing: for God is my defence, and my mercifull God.
