ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 51

1 ೧ ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ದಾವೀದನು ಬತ್ಷೆಬಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ನಾತಾನನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದಾಗ ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಪ್ರೀತಿಸ್ವರೂಪನಾದ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸು; ಕರುಣಾನಿಧಿಯೇ, ನನ್ನ ದ್ರೋಹವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಳಿಸಿಬಿಡು.

To him that excelleth. A Psalme of David, when the Prophet Nathan came unto him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba. Have mercie vpon me, O God, according to thy louing kindnes: according to the multitude of thy compassions put away mine iniquities.

2 ೨ ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತೊಳೆದುಬಿಡು; ನನ್ನ ದೋಷವನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸು.

Wash me throughly from mine iniquitie, and clense me from my sinne.

3 ೩ ನಾನು ದ್ರೋಹಿ ಎಂದು ನಾನೇ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪವು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದೆ.

For I know mine iniquities, and my sinne is euer before me.

4 ೪ ನಿನಗೇ, ಕೇವಲ ನಿನಗೇ ತಪ್ಪುಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ನಿರ್ಣಯ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿಯೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ತೀರ್ಪು ನಿಷ್ಕಳಂಕವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.

Against thee, against thee onely haue I sinned, and done euill in thy sight, that thou mayest be iust when thou speakest, and pure when thou iudgest.

5 ೫ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದಂದಿನಿಂದ ನಾನು ಪಾಪಿಯೇ; ಮಾತೃಗರ್ಭವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ದಿನದಿಂದ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯೇ.

Beholde, I was borne in iniquitie, and in sinne hath my mother conceiued me.

6 ೬ ಯಥಾರ್ಥಚಿತ್ತವೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷ; ಸುಜ್ಞಾನದ ರಹಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸು.

Beholde, thou louest trueth in the inwarde affections: therefore hast thou taught mee wisedome in the secret of mine heart.

7 ೭ ಹಿಸ್ಸೋಪ್ ಗಿಡದ ಬರಲಿನಿಂದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಚಿಮಕಿಸಿಯೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಅಶುದ್ಧತ್ವವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಡು, ಆಗ ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗುವೆನು; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊಳೆ, ಆಗ ಹಿಮಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಗಾಗುವೆನು.

Purge me with hyssope, and I shalbe cleane: wash me, and I shalbe whiter then snowe.

8 ೮ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮೋತ್ಸವದ ಧ್ವನಿ ಉಂಟಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡು; ಆಗ ನೀನು ಜಜ್ಜಿದ ಎಲುಬುಗಳು ಆನಂದಪಡುವವು.

Make me to heare ioye and gladnes, that the bones, which thou hast broken, may reioyce.

9 ೯ ನನ್ನ ದೋಷಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಮುಖನಾಗು; ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಳಿಸಿಬಿಡು.

Hide thy face from my sinnes, and put away all mine iniquities.

10 ೧೦ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶುದ್ಧಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸು; ನನಗೆ ಸ್ಥಿರಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೂತನಪಡಿಸು.

Create in mee a cleane heart, O God, and renue a right spirit within me.

11 ೧೧ ನಿನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಬೇಡ; ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮವನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಡ.

Cast mee not away from thy presence, and take not thine holy Spirit from me.

12 ೧೨ ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣಾನಂದವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಪುನಃ ಅನುಭವಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡು; ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ನನಗೆ ಆಧಾರನಾಗು.

Restore to me the ioy of thy saluation, and stablish me with thy free Spirit.

13 ೧೩ ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವೆನು; ಪಾಪಿಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.

Then shall I teache thy wayes vnto the wicked, and sinners shalbe conuerted vnto thee.

14 ೧೪ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಪ್ರಾಣಹತ್ಯದ ಅಪರಾಧದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸು; ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವುದು.

Deliuer me from blood, O God, which art the God of my saluation, and my tongue shall sing ioyfully of thy righteousnes.

15 ೧೫ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಮಾಡು.

Open thou my lippes, O Lord, and my mouth shall shewe foorth thy praise.

16 ೧೬ ನಿನಗೆ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆಯಿಲ್ಲ, ಇದ್ದರೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು; ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವಿಲ್ಲ.

For thou desirest no sacrifice, though I would giue it: thou delitest not in burnt offering.

17 ೧೭ ಕುಗ್ಗಿದ ಮನಸ್ಸೇ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ಯಜ್ಞ; ದೇವರೇ, ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪದಿಂದ ಜಜ್ಜಿಹೋದ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನೀನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

The sacrifices of God are a contrite spirit: a contrite and a broken heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

18 ೧೮ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಶುಭವನ್ನುಂಟುಮಾಡು; ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಪೌಳಿಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸು.

Bee fauourable vnto Zion for thy good pleasure: builde the walles of Ierusalem.

19 ೧೯ ಆಗ ಜನರು ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ದೇವರೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವರು. ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವರು.

Then shalt thou accept ye sacrifices of righteousnes, euen the burnt offering and oblation: then shall they offer calues vpon thine altar.
