ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 45

1 ೧ ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ಕೋಶನ್ನೀಮ್ ಎಂಬ ರಾಗದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು; ಕೋರಹೀಯರ ಪದ್ಯ; ಪ್ರೇಮಗೀತೆ. ಒಂದು ದಿವ್ಯ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ತವಕಪಡುತ್ತದೆ; ನಾನು ರಾಜನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಈ ಪದ್ಯವನ್ನು ರಚಿಸುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಬರಹಗಾರನ ಲೇಖನಿಯಂತೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ.

“For the leader of the music. To be accompanied with the Shoshannim. A song of loveliness by the sons of Korah.” My heart is overflowing with a good matter; I will address my work to the king: May my tongue be like the pen of a ready writer!

2 ೨ ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗಿಂತ ಅತಿಸುಂದರನು; ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಬಹು ಮಧುರ; ಇದರಿಂದಲೇ ದೈವಾನುಗ್ರಹವು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಸ್ವಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

Thou art the fairest of the sons of men; Grace is poured upon thy lips; For God hath blessed thee for ever!

3 ೩ ಶೂರನೇ, ಮಹಿಮೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಸೊಂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಪಟ್ಟದ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೋ.

Gird thy sword to thy thigh, thou hero!-Thy glory and ornament!

4 ೪ ಸತ್ಯತೆ, ದೈನ್ಯ, ನೀತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸಕಲ ವೈಭವದೊಡನೆ ವಾಹನರೂಢನಾಗಿ, ವಿಜಯೋತ್ಸವದೊಡನೆ ಹೊರಡು. ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈ ಭಯಂಕರ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಿ.

In thy glorious array ride forth victoriously, On account of truth and mildness and justice; And thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things!

5 ೫ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಣಗಳು ಮಹಾತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣವಾಗಿರುವವು; ಅವು ರಾಜನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಎದೆಯನ್ನು ಭೇದಿಸುವವು; ಶತ್ರುಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾದದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬೀಳುವವು.

Thine arrows are sharp; Nations shall fall before thee; They shall pierce the hearts of the king's enemies.

6 ೬ ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವು ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವುದು; ನಿನ್ನ ರಾಜದಂಡವು ನ್ಯಾಯ ದಂಡವಾಗಿದೆ.

Thy throne is God's for ever and ever; The sceptre of thy kingdom is a sceptre of equity!

7 ೭ ನೀನು ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಿ, ಅಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತಿ; ಆದುದರಿಂದ ದೇವರು, ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಗಾರರಿಗಿಂತ, ಉನ್ನತಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಸಿ, ಪರಮಾನಂದತೈಲದಿಂದ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest iniquity; Therefore hath God, thy God, anointed thee With the oil of gladness above thy fellows!

8 ೮ ನಿನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ರಕ್ತಬೋಳ, ದಾಲ್ಚಿನ್ನಿ, ಚಂದನಗಳಿಂದ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯುಳ್ಳವುಗಳಾಗಿವೆ; ಗಜದಂತ ಅರಮನೆಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟವಾದ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆನಂದಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.

All thy garments are myrrh, aloes, and cassia; From ivory palaces stringed instruments delight thee.

9 ೯ ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಪರಿವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿಯರೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಪಟ್ಟದ ರಾಣಿಯು ಓಫೀರ್ ದೇಶದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಆಭರಣಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕೃತಳಾಗಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವಳು.

Daughters of kings are among thy chosen women; On the right hand stands the queen In gold of Ophir.

10 ೧೦ ಎಲೌ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿಯೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಆಲೋಚಿಸು; ಸ್ವಜನರನ್ನೂ ತೌರಮನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮರೆತುಬಿಡು.

Listen, O daughter! consider, and incline thine ear; Forget thy people and thy father's house!

11 ೧೧ ಆಗ ರಾಜನು ನಿನ್ನ ಲಾವಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು. ಆತನೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಒಡೆಯನು; ಆತನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸು.

For the king is captivated with thy beauty; He is now thy lord; honor thou him!

12 ೧೨ ತೂರ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದವರು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬರುವರು; ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತರು ನಿನ್ನ ದಯೆಯನ್ನು ಕೋರುವರು.

So shall the daughter of Tyre seek thy favor with gifts, The rich among the people.

13 ೧೩ ಅಂತಃಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರಿಯು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ವೈಭವದಿಂದಿದ್ದಾಳೆ; ಆಕೆಯು ಜರತಾರಿಯ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.

All glorious is the king's daughter in her apartment; Her robe is embroidered with gold.

14 ೧೪ ಆಕೆಯು ಬೂಟೇದಾರಿ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅವಳ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಕನ್ಯೆಯರಾದ ಸಖೀಯರು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ, ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವರು.

In variegated garments shall she be led to the king; The virgin companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.

15 ೧೫ ಅವರು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದಿಂದಲೂ, ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದಲೂ ಬಂದು, ಅರಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವರು.

With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought; They shall enter the king's palace.

16 ೧೬ ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಇರುವರು; ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸುವಿ.

Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, Whom thou shalt make princes through all the land.

17 ೧೭ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ತಲತಲಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕವಿರುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಅದುದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಗಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಶಂಸಿಸುವರು.

I will make thy name memorable throughout all generations; So shall the nations praise thee for ever and ever!
