ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 2

1 ೧ ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ದಂಗೆಗೆ ಏಳುವುದೂ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ವ್ಯರ್ಥಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಯೋಚಿಸುವುದೂ ಏಕೆ?

Therefore did the heathen rage, and the nations imagine vain things?

2 ೨ ಅರಸರು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿ ಆಲೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ದೇಶಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಆತನಿಂದ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನಿಗೂ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಸನ್ನದ್ಧರಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ,

The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers gathered themselves together, against the Lord, and against his Christ;

3 ೩ “ನಮಗೆ ಅವರು ಹಾಕಿದ ಬಂಧನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕಿ, ಬೇಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು ಬಿಸಾಡೋಣ” ಎಂದು ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರಲ್ಲಾ.

[saying], Let us break through their bonds, and cast away their yoke from us.

4 ೪ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸೀನನಾಗಿರುವಾತನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಗುವನು; ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುವನು.

He that dwells in the heavens shall laugh them to scorn, and the Lord shall mock them.

5 ೫ ಅನಂತರ ಆತನು ಸಿಟ್ಟಾಗಿ, ಕೋಪಾವೇಶದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಗೊಳಿಸಿ,

Then shall he speak to them in his anger, and trouble them in his fury.

6 ೬ “ನಾನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಚೀಯೋನೆಂಬ ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾಯಿತು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವನು.

But I have been made king by him on Sion his holy mountain,

7 ೭ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ಆತನು ನನಗೆ, “ನನಗೆ ನೀನು ಮಗನು; ನಾನೇ ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

declaring the ordinance of the Lord: the Lord said to me, You are my Son, today have I begotten you.

8 ೮ ನೀನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ನಾನು ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನಗೆ ಅಧೀನಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.

Ask of me, and I will give you the heathen [for] your inheritance, and the ends of the earth [for] your possession.

9 ೯ ನೀನು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಗದೆಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವಿ; ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಮಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಒಡೆದುಹಾಕುವಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

You shall rule them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces as a potter's vessel.

10 ೧೦ ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಅರಸುಗಳಿರಾ, ವಿವೇಕಿಗಳಾಗಿರಿ; ದೇಶಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳಿರಾ, ಬುದ್ಧಿವಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ.

Now therefore understand, you kings: be instructed, all you that judge the earth.

11 ೧೧ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸೇವಿಸಿರಿ; ನಡುಗುತ್ತಾ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಪಡಿರಿ.

Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice in him with trembling.

12 ೧೨ ಆತನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಮುದ್ದಿಡಿರಿ; ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೋಪವು ಬೇಗನೆ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿಸಲು ನೀವು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ನಾಶವಾದೀರಿ. ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸುವವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಧನ್ಯರು.

Accept correction, lest at any time the Lord be angry, and you should perish from the righteous way: whenever his wrath shall be suddenly kindled, blessed are all they that trust in him.
