ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 142

1 ೧ ದಾವೀದನ ಪದ್ಯ, ಅವನು ಗುಹೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ. ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವೆನು, ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೂಗಿ ಬಿನ್ನೈಸುವೆನು.

Maschil of David, when he was in the cave; a Prayer. With my voice I cry unto the LORD; with my voice I make supplication unto the LORD.

2 ೨ ನನ್ನ ಚಿಂತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಿಚ್ಚುವೆನು, ನನ್ನ ಕಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡುವೆನು.

I pour out my complaint before Him, I declare before Him my trouble;

3 ೩ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಕುಂದಿಹೋದಾಗ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲವನಾಗಿರುತ್ತಿ, ನಾನು ಹೋಗಬೇಕಾದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಉರುಲನ್ನೊಡ್ಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

When my spirit fainteth within me — Thou knowest my path — in the way wherein I walk have they hidden a snare for me.

4 ೪ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಬಲಗಡೆಗೆ ನೋಡಲು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಾಯಕರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಆಶ್ರಯವೂ ನಾಶವಾಯಿತು, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿತಚಿಂತಕರು ಒಬ್ಬರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

Look on my right hand, and see, for there is no man that knoweth me; I have no way to flee; no man careth for my soul.

5 ೫ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ, “ನೀನೇ ನನ್ನ ಶರಣನೂ, ಜೀವಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಪಾಲೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಿ” ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

I have cried unto Thee, O LORD; I have said: 'Thou art my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.'

6 ೬ ನನ್ನ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸು, ಬಲು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಹಿಂಸಕರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸು, ಅವರು ನನಗಿಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರಲ್ಲಾ.

Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low; deliver me from my persecutors; for they are too strong for me.

7 ೭ ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸು, ನಿನ್ನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸುವೆನು. ನೀತಿವಂತರು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹೋಪಕಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಉತ್ಸಾಹಗೊಳ್ಳುವರು.

Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks unto Thy name; the righteous shall crown themselves because of me; for Thou wilt deal bountifully with me.
