ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 139

1 ೧ ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀ;

For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. LORD, thou hast searched me, and known [me].

2 ೨ ನಾನು ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು, ಏಳುವುದು ನಿನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ, ದೂರದಿಂದಲೇ ನನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲವನಾಗಿರುತ್ತಿ.

Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

3 ೩ ನಾನು ನಡೆಯುವುದನ್ನು, ಮಲಗುವುದನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಿ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿ, ನನ್ನ ನಡತೆಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನಗೆ ಗೋಚರವಾಗಿದೆ.

Thou searchest out my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.

4 ೪ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ನೀನು ಅರಿಯದೆ ಇರುವಂಥದು ಒಂದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.

5 ೫ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಿ.

Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.

6 ೬ ಇಂಥ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ನನಗೆ ಬಹು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ; ಅದು ಉನ್ನತವಾದದ್ದು, ನನಗೆ ನಿಲುಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

[Such] knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

7 ೭ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಲಿ? ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಓಡಲಿ?

Whither shall I from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

8 ೮ ಮೇಲಣ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಹೋದರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನಿರುತ್ತಿ, ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಮಲಗಿಕೊಂಡೇನೆಂದರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೀನಿರುವಿ. (Sheol h7585)

If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou art there. (Sheol h7585)

9 ೯ ಅರುಣನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಹಾರಿಹೋಗಿ, ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದರೆ,

If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

10 ೧೦ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವುದು; ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವುದು.

Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

11 ೧೧ ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲೆಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕವಿಯುವುದು, “ಹಗಲು ಹೋಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲು ಇರುಳಾಗುವುದು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರೇನು?

If I say, Surely the darkness shall overwhelm me, and the light about me shall be night;

12 ೧೨ ನಿನಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲ; ಇರುಳು ಹಗಲಾಗಿಯೇ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ, ಕತ್ತಲು ಬೆಳಕುಗಳೆರಡೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಒಂದೇ.

Even the darkness hideth not from thee, but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike [to thee].

13 ೧೩ ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಿಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದವನೂ, ತಾಯಿಯ ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದವನೂ ನೀನಲ್ಲವೋ?

For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.

14 ೧೪ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅದ್ಭುತವಾಗಿಯೂ, ವಿಚಿತ್ರವಾಗಿಯೂ ರಚಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆಯೆಂದು, ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.

I will give thanks unto thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: wonderful are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

15 ೧೫ ನಾನು ಗುಪ್ತಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಏರ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾ, ಭೂಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ರಚಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದಾಗ, ನನ್ನ ಅಸ್ಥಿಪಂಜರವು ನಿನಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ.

My frame was not hidden from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

16 ೧೬ ನಾನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೇವಲ ಪಿಂಡವಾಗಿರುವಾಗ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದವು, ನನ್ನ ಆಯುಷ್ಕಾಲದ ಪ್ರಥಮದಿನವು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗುವ ಮೊದಲೇ, ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಿನಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು.

Thine eyes did see mine unperfect substance, and in thy book were all [my members] written, which day by day were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

17 ೧೭ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಗೌರವವಾಗಿವೆ, ಅವುಗಳು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ.

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

18 ೧೮ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸುವುದಾದರೆ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮರಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿವೆ, ನಾನು ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಲು ಮೊದಲಿನಂತೆಯೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತೇನೆ.

If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

19 ೧೯ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ, ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು. ಕೊಲೆಪಾತಕರೇ, ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿಹೋಗಿರಿ.

Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloodthirsty men.

20 ೨೦ ದೇವರೇ, ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು, ಅಯೋಗ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರೆತ್ತುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಸುಳ್ಳಾಣೆಯಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take [thy name] in vain.

21 ೨೧ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನಲ್ಲವೋ? ನಿನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?

Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?

22 ೨೨ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಅವರು ನನಗೂ ವೈರಿಗಳೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

23 ೨೩ ದೇವಾ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ.

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me and know my thoughts:

24 ೨೪ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಡಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಇರುತ್ತದೋ ಏನೋ ನೋಡಿ, ಸನಾತನ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡೆಸು.

And see if there be any way of wickedness in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
