1 ೧ ಯಾತ್ರಾಗೀತೆ; ದಾವೀದನದು. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗರ್ವವಿಲ್ಲ; ನನಗೆ ಸೊಕ್ಕಿನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಲ್ಲ; ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೈಹಾಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

2 ೨ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಾನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ತಾಯಿಯ ಮಡಿಲಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮೊಲೆಬಿಡಿಸಿದ ಕೂಸಿನಂತೆ, ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮೊಲೆಬಿಡಿಸಿದ ಕೂಸಿನಂತೆ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯಿಂದಿದೆ.

Have I not compared, and kept silent my soul, As a weaned one by its mother? As a weaned one by me [is] my soul.

3 ೩ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ಇಂದಿನಿಂದ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನೇ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರು.

Israel doth wait on Jehovah, From henceforth, and unto the age!
