ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 105

1 ೧ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನ ನಾಮದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವರ್ಣಿಸಿರಿ; ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿರಿ.

Praise the Lord, and call vpon his Name: declare his workes among the people.

2 ೨ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಿರಿ, ಭಜಿಸಿರಿ; ಆತನ ಅದ್ಭುತಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸಿರಿ.

Sing vnto him, sing prayse vnto him, and talke of all his wonderous workes.

3 ೩ ಆತನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗಿರಿ; ಯೆಹೋವನ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಕೋರುವವರ ಹೃದಯವು ಹರ್ಷಿಸಲಿ.

Reioyce in his holy Name: let the heart of them that seeke the Lord, reioyce.

4 ೪ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನೂ, ಆತನ ಬಲವನ್ನೂ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿರಿ; ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಆತನ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ.

Seeke the Lord and his strength: seeke his face continually.

5 ೫ ಆತನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತಕೃತ್ಯ, ಆತನ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯ, ಆತನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ನ್ಯಾಯನಿರ್ಣಯ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು,

Remember his marueilous woorkes, that he hath done, his wonders and the iudgements of his mouth,

6 ೬ ಆತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರೇ, ಆತನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ವಂಶದವರೇ, ನೀವು ನೆನಪುಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

Ye seede of Abraham his seruant, ye children of Iaakob, which are his elect.

7 ೭ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬಾತನೇ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು; ಆತನ ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಧಿಗಳು ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇವೆ.

He is the Lord our God: his iudgements are through all the earth.

8 ೮ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ವಾಗ್ದಾನವನ್ನು ಸಾವಿರ ತಲೆಗಳವರೆಗೂ, ತನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ನೆನಪಿನಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

He hath alway remembred his couenant and promise, that he made to a thousand generations,

9 ೯ ಆತನು ಆ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು; ಇಸಾಕನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ವಾಗ್ದಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

Euen that which he made with Abraham, and his othe vnto Izhak:

10 ೧೦ ಅದು ರಾಜಶಾಸನದಂತೆ ಇರುವುದೆಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನಿಗೂ ಮಾತುಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

And since hath confirmed it to Iaakob for a lawe, and to Israel for an euerlasting couenant,

11 ೧೧ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಜನರು ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಇರುವಾಗಲೇ,

Saying, Vnto thee will I giue the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.

12 ೧೨ ಆತನು, “ನಿಮಗೆ ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು; ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿರುವುದು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

Albeit they were fewe in nomber, yea, very fewe, and strangers in the land,

13 ೧೩ ಅವರು ದೇಶದಿಂದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೂ, ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ,

And walked about from nation to nation, from one kingdome to another people,

14 ೧೪ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಯಾರಿಂದಲೂ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಗೊಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆತನು ಅವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸರನ್ನೂ ಗದರಿಸಿ,

Yet suffered he no man to doe them wrong, but reprooued Kings for their sakes, saying,

15 ೧೫ “ನಾನು ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದವರನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಬಾರದು, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಕೇಡನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

Touche not mine anointed, and doe my Prophets no harme.

16 ೧೬ ಅನಂತರ ಆತನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ಷಾಮವನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿ, ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

Moreouer, he called a famine vpon ye land, and vtterly brake the staffe of bread.

17 ೧೭ ಆತನು ಅವರ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು; ದಾಸತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಯೋಸೇಫನೇ ಅವನು.

But he sent a man before them: Ioseph was solde for a slaue.

18 ೧೮ ಅವನ ಕಾಲುಗಳು ಬೇಡಿಗಳಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು; ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಕೊರಳಪಟ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಅವನು ಬಂಧಿತನಾದನು.

They helde his feete in the stockes, and he was laide in yrons,

19 ೧೯ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮಾತು ನೆರವೇರುವ ತನಕ ಯೆಹೋವನ ವಾಕ್ಯದಿಂದ ಶೋಧಿತನಾದನು.

Vntill his appointed time came, and the counsell of the Lord had tryed him.

20 ೨೦ ಅರಸನು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು; ಜನಾಧಿಪತಿಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು.

The King sent and loosed him: euen the Ruler of the people deliuered him.

21 ೨೧ ಅವನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಯಜಮಾನನನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ತನ್ನ ಆಸ್ತಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance,

22 ೨೨ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನು ಇಷ್ಟಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಬಂಧಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ತನ್ನ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿಕಲಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

That he shoulde binde his princes vnto his will, and teach his Ancients wisedome.

23 ೨೩ ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು; ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಹಾಮನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾದನು.

Then Israel came to Egypt, and Iaakob was a stranger in the land of Ham.

24 ೨೪ ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರು ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

And he increased his people exceedingly, and made them stronger then their oppressours.

25 ೨೫ ಆತನು ಆ ದೇಶದವರ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಅವರು ಆತನ ಜನರನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಿ, ಆತನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.

He turned their heart to hate his people, and to deale craftily with his seruants.

26 ೨೬ ಆಗ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯನ್ನೂ, ತಾನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಆರೋನನನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.

Then sent he Moses his seruant, and Aaron whom he had chosen.

27 ೨೭ ಅವರು ಹಾಮನ ದೇಶದವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಆತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ವಿವಿಧ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.

They shewed among them the message of his signes, and wonders in the land of Ham.

28 ೨೮ ಆತನು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರು ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.

He sent darkenesse, and made it darke: and they were not disobedient vnto his commission.

29 ೨೯ ಆತನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರ ನೀರನ್ನು ರಕ್ತಮಾಡಿ, ಮೀನುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಯಿಸಿದನು.

He turned their waters into blood, and slewe their fish.

30 ೩೦ ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಪ್ಪೆಗಳು ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡವು; ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವು.

Their land brought foorth frogs, euen in their Kings chambers.

31 ೩೧ ಆತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಲು ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ವಿಷದ ಹುಳಗಳೂ, ಹೇನುಗಳೂ ಉಂಟಾದವು.

He spake, and there came swarmes of flies and lice in all their quarters.

32 ೩೨ ಆತನು ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಮಳೆಯನ್ನು, ಅಗ್ನಿಜ್ವಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿ,

He gaue them haile for raine, and flames of fire in their land.

33 ೩೩ ಅವರ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಗಳನ್ನು, ಅಂಜೂರದ ಗಿಡಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

He smote their vines also and their figge trees, and brake downe the trees in their coastes.

34 ೩೪ ಆತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಲು ಮಿಡತೆಗಳೂ, ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ಜಿಟ್ಟೆಹುಳಗಳೂ ಬಂದು,

He spake, and the grashoppers came, and caterpillers innumerable,

35 ೩೫ ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪೈರುಗಳನ್ನು, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಬೆಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಟ್ಟವು.

And did eate vp all the grasse in their land, and deuoured the fruite of their ground.

36 ೩೬ ಅವನು ಆ ದೇಶದವರ ವೀರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಥಮಫಲವಾಗಿದ್ದ, ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು.

He smote also all the first borne in their land, euen the beginning of all their strength.

37 ೩೭ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ಬಂಗಾರಗಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು; ಅವರ ಕುಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಡವುವವನು ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

He brought them forth also with siluer and golde, and there was none feeble among their tribes.

38 ೩೮ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರು ಅವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆದರಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಅವರು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಿದರು.

Egypt was glad at their departing: for the feare of them had fallen vpon them.

39 ೩೯ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮೋಡವನ್ನು, ಇರುಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಡಿದನು.

He spred a cloude to be a couering, and fire to giue light in the night.

40 ೪೦ ಅವರು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಲಾವಕ್ಕಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು; ದಿವ್ಯ ಆಹಾರದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದನು.

They asked, and he brought quailes, and he filled them with the bread of heauen.

41 ೪೧ ಆತನು ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ಸೀಳಲು ನೀರು ಚಿಮ್ಮಿ ಬಂದು, ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನದಿಯಾಗಿ ಹರಿಯಿತು.

He opened the rocke, and the waters flowed out, and ranne in the drye places like a riuer.

42 ೪೨ ಹೀಗೆ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ವಚನವನ್ನೂ, ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನನ್ನೂ ನೆನಪುಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು

For he remembred his holy promise to Abraham his seruant,

43 ೪೩ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದಿಂದಲೂ, ತಾನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

And he brought forth his people with ioy, and his chosen with gladnesse,

44 ೪೪ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪರಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಕಷ್ಟಾರ್ಜಿತವು ಅವರ ಕೈ ಸೇರಿತು.

And gaue them the lands of the heathen, and they tooke the labours of the people in possession,

45 ೪೫ ಅವರು ತನ್ನ ವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು, ತನ್ನ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುದೇ ಆತನ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ!

That they might keepe his statutes, and obserue his Lawes. Prayse ye the Lord.
