ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 12

1 ೧ ಮೋಶೆ ಕೂಷ್ ದೇಶದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು. ಆ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರೋನನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married; for he had married a Cushite woman.

2 ೨ ಅವರು, “ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾನೋ? ನಮ್ಮ ಮೂಲಕ ಆತನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೇ?” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅವರು ಆಡಿದ ಮಾತು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸಿತು.

They said, "Has the LORD indeed spoken only with Moses? Hasn't he spoken also with us?" And the LORD heard it.

3 ೩ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಬಹು ಸಾತ್ವಿಕನು.

Now the man Moses was very humble, above all the men who were on the surface of the earth.

4 ೪ ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಆಡಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಕೇಳಿ ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಮೋಶೆ, ಆರೋನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿಯೂ ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಆ ಮೂವರು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದರು.

The LORD spoke suddenly to Moses, to Aaron, and to Miriam, "You three come out to the Tent of Meeting." The three of them came out.

5 ೫ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೇಘಸ್ತಂಭದೊಳಗೆ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಆರೋನನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದನು. ಅವರು ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದರು.

The LORD came down in a pillar of cloud, and stood at the door of the Tent, and called Aaron and Miriam; and they both came forward.

6 ೬ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಿದ್ದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವೆನು, ಮತ್ತು ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುವೆನು.

He said, "Hear now my words. If there is a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known to him in a vision. I will speak with him in a dream.

7 ೭ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅಂಥವನಲ್ಲ. ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

My servant Moses is not so. He is faithful in all my house.

8 ೮ ನಾನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಗುಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಮುಖಾಮುಖಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನೇ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವನು. ಹೀಗಿರಲು ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಏಕೆ ಭಯಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ?” ಎಂದನು.

With him I will speak mouth to mouth, even openly, and not in riddles; and he shall see the LORD's form. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?"

9 ೯ ನಂತರ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು.

The anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.

10 ೧೦ ಆ ಮೇಘವು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಯಿತು. ಪಕ್ಕನೆ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳಿಗೆ ತೊನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯ ಚರ್ಮ ಹಿಮದಂತೆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಗಾಗಿ ಹೋಯಿತು. ಆರೋನನು ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಆಕೆಗೆ ತೊನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡನು.

The cloud departed from over the Tent; and look, Miriam was leprous, as white as snow. Aaron looked at Miriam, and look, she was leprous.

11 ೧೧ ಆಗ ಆರೋನನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, “ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನಾವು ವಿವೇಕವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನಡೆದು ದೋಷಿಗಳಾದೆವು. ಈ ದೋಷದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ ಎಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

Aaron said to Moses, "Oh, my lord, please do not count this sin against us, in which we have done foolishly, and in which we have sinned.

12 ೧೨ ಅರ್ಧ ಮಾಂಸ ಕೊಳೆತುಹೋಗಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಶಿಶುವಿನಂತೆ ಈಕೆ ಆಗಬಾರದು” ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿದನು.

Let her not, I pray, be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother's womb."

13 ೧೩ ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ, “ದೇವಾ, ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬೇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟನು.

Moses cried to the LORD, saying, "Heal her, God, I beg you."

14 ೧೪ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, “ಆಕೆಯ ತಂದೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಮುಖದ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಗುಳಿದರೆ, ಆಕೆ ಏಳು ದಿನ ನಾಚಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಮರೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳಲ್ಲವೇ? ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಆಕೆ ಏಳು ದಿನ ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಇರಲಿ, ತರುವಾಯ ನೀನು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪಾಳೆಯದೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

The LORD said to Moses, "If her father had but spit in her face, shouldn't she be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut up outside of the camp seven days, and after that she shall be brought in again."

15 ೧೫ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳು ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಇರಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

Miriam was shut up outside of the camp seven days, and the people did not travel until Miriam was brought in again.

16 ೧೬ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಹಚೇರೋತಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಪಾರಾನ್ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು.

Afterward the people traveled from Hazeroth, and camped in the wilderness of Paran.
