ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 1

1 ೧ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ಎರಡನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ ಎರಡನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದೊಳಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು,

YHWH spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the Tent of Meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

2 ೨ “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸರ್ವಸಮೂಹದ ಗಂಡಸರನ್ನು ಗೋತ್ರದ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಬೇಕು.

"Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, every male, one by one;

3 ೩ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡತಕ್ಕವರನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಸೈನ್ಯಸೈನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನೀನೂ ಆರೋನನೂ ಲೆಕ್ಕಹಾಕಬೇಕು.

from twenty years old and upward, all who are able to go out to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall number them by their divisions.

4 ೪ ಈ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕುಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯಾ ಕುಲದ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿರುವ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬ ಸಹಾಯಕನಿರಬೇಕು ಹಾಗೂ ತನ್ನ ಕುಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡುವ ಜನರನ್ನು ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸಬೇಕು.

With you there shall be a man of every tribe; everyone head of his fathers' house.

5 ೫ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಪುರುಷರು ಯಾರಾರೆಂದರೆ: ರೂಬೇನ್ ಕುಲದಿಂದ ಶೆದೇಯೂರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲೀಚೂರ್,

These are the names of the men who shall stand with you: Of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.

6 ೬ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನ್ ಕುಲದಿಂದ ಚೂರೀಷದ್ದೈಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಶೆಲುಮೀಯೇಲ್,

Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

7 ೭ ಯೆಹೂದ ಕುಲದಿಂದ ಅಮ್ಮೀನಾದಾಬನ ಮಗನಾದ ನಹಶೋನ್,

Of Judah: Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

8 ೮ ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರ್ ಕುಲದಿಂದ ಚೂವಾರನ ಮಗನಾದ ನೆತನೇಲ್,

Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.

9 ೯ ಜೆಬುಲೂನ್ ಕುಲದಿಂದ ಹೇಲೋನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲೀಯಾಬ್,

Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Helon.

10 ೧೦ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ: ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಕುಲದಿಂದ ಅಮ್ಮೀಹೂದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲೀಷಾಮಾ, ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಕುಲದಿಂದ ಪೆದಾಚೂರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗಮ್ಲೀಯೇಲ್,

Of the sons of Joseph: Of Ephraim: Elishama the son of Ammihud. Of Manasseh: Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

11 ೧೧ ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ ಕುಲದಿಂದ ಗಿದ್ಯೋನಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬೀದಾನ್,

Of Benjamin: Abidan the son of Gideoni.

12 ೧೨ ದಾನ್ ಕುಲದಿಂದ ಅಮ್ಮೀಷದ್ದೈಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಗೆಜೆರ್,

Of Dan: Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

13 ೧೩ ಆಶೇರ್ ಕುಲದಿಂದ ಒಕ್ರಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪಗೀಯೇಲ್,

Of Asher: Pagiel the son of Ochran.

14 ೧೪ ಗಾದ್ ಕುಲದಿಂದ ರೆಗೂವೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲ್ಯಾಸಾಫ್,

Of Gad: Eliasaph the son of Reuel.

15 ೧೫ ನಫ್ತಾಲಿ ಕುಲದಿಂದ ಏನಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀರ.”

Of Naphtali: Ahira the son of Enan."

16 ೧೬ ಇವರು ಸರ್ವಸಮೂಹದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ನೇಮಕವಾದವರು. ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಪುರುಷರು ಹಾಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಕುಲಗಳ ಪ್ರಮುಖರು.

These are those who were called of the congregation, the leaders of the tribes of their fathers; they were the heads of the thousands of Israel.

17 ೧೭ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಸೂಚಿತರಾದ ಈ ಪುರುಷರನ್ನು ಮೋಶೆಯು ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.

Moses and Aaron took these men who are mentioned by name.

18 ೧೮ ಅವರು ಎರಡನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪುರುಷರನ್ನೂ ಸಮೂಹದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಗೋತ್ರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಯನ್ನು ಬರೆಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.

They assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they declared their ancestry by their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, one by one.

19 ೧೯ ಹೀಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಮೋಶೆ ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಮಾಡಿ ಮೊಟ್ಟಮೊದಲು ಜನಗಣತಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.

As YHWH commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

20 ೨೦ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನಾದ ರೂಬೇನನ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡತಕ್ಕವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ಗೋತ್ರಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರೆಸರಾಗಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

Now the descendants of Reuben, Israel's firstborn, their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

21 ೨೧ ರೂಬೇನನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಗಂಡಸರು - 46,500 ಮಂದಿ.

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand five hundred.

22 ೨೨ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡತಕ್ಕವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ಗೋತ್ರಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

Of the descendants of Simeon, their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' houses, those who were numbered of it, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

23 ೨೩ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾದ ಗಂಡಸರು - 59,300 ಮಂದಿ.

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.

24 ೨೪ ಗಾದ್ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡತಕ್ಕವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ಗೋತ್ರಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರೆಸರಾಗಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

Of the descendants of Gad, their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

25 ೨೫ ಗಾದ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಗಂಡಸರು - 45,650 ಮಂದಿ.

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand six hundred fifty.

26 ೨೬ ಯೆಹೂದ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡತಕ್ಕವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ಗೋತ್ರಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

Of the descendants of Judah, their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

27 ೨೭ ಯೆಹೂದ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಗಂಡಸರು - 74,600 ಮಂದಿ.

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Judah, were sixty-four thousand six hundred.

28 ೨೮ ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರ್ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡತಕ್ಕವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ಗೋತ್ರಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

Of the descendants of Issachar, their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

29 ೨೯ ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಗಂಡಸರು - 54,400 ಮಂದಿ.

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty-four thousand four hundred.

30 ೩೦ ಜೆಬುಲೂನ್ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡತಕ್ಕವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ಗೋತ್ರಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

Of the descendants of Zebulun, their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

31 ೩೧ ಜೆಬುಲೂನ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಗಂಡಸರು - 57,400 ಮಂದಿ.

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.

32 ೩೨ ಯೋಸೇಫನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರೊಳಗೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡತಕ್ಕವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ಗೋತ್ರಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

Of the sons of Joseph, of the descendants of Ephraim, their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

33 ೩೩ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಗಂಡಸರು - 40,500 ಮಂದಿ.

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand five hundred.

34 ೩೪ ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡತಕ್ಕವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ಗೋತ್ರಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

Of the descendants of Manasseh, their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

35 ೩೫ ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಗಂಡಸರು - 32,200 ಮಂದಿ.

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.

36 ೩೬ ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡತಕ್ಕವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ಗೋತ್ರಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

Of the descendants of Benjamin, their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

37 ೩೭ ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಗಂಡಸರು - 35,400 ಮಂದಿ.

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.

38 ೩೮ ದಾನ್ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡತಕ್ಕವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ಗೋತ್ರಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

Of the descendants of Dan, their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

39 ೩೯ ದಾನ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಗಂಡಸರು - 62,700 ಮಂದಿ.

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Dan, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.

40 ೪೦ ಆಶೇರ್ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡತಕ್ಕವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ಗೋತ್ರಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

Of the descendants of Asher, their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

41 ೪೧ ಆಶೇರ್ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಗಂಡಸರು - 41,500 ಮಂದಿ.

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Asher, were forty-one thousand five hundred.

42 ೪೨ ನಫ್ತಾಲಿ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡತಕ್ಕವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ಗೋತ್ರಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

Of the descendants of Naphtali, their generations, according to their families, by their fathers' houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

43 ೪೩ ನಫ್ತಾಲಿ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಗಂಡಸರು - 53,400 ಮಂದಿ.

those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.

44 ೪೪ ಮೋಶೆ, ಆರೋನನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕುಲಗಳ ನಾಯಕರು ಲೆಕ್ಕಮಾಡಿದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಜನರು ಇವರೇ.

These are those who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, and the leaders of Israel, being twelve men; each representing his fathers' house.

45 ೪೫ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡತಕ್ಕವರನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿದರು.

So all those who were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers' houses, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war in Israel;

46 ೪೬ ಗಂಡಸರ ಒಟ್ಟು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ - 6,03,550 ಮಂದಿ.

even all those who were numbered were six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty.

47 ೪೭ ಆದರೆ ಅವರೊಡನೆ ಲೇವಿ ಕುಲದ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

48 ೪೮ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,

For YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,

49 ೪೯ “ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸುವಾಗ ಲೇವಿ ಕುಲದವರನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಬಾರದು.

"Only the tribe of Levi you shall not number, neither shall you take a census of them among the children of Israel;

50 ೫೦ ಆಜ್ಞಾಶಾಸನಗಳಿರುವ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಸಾಮಾನು, ಉಪಕರಣ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅವರು ಆ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೊರುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಅವರು ಅದರ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿ ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಡೇರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

but appoint the Levites over the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and over all its furnishings, and over all that belongs to it. They shall carry the tabernacle, and all its furnishings; and they shall take care of it, and shall camp around it.

51 ೫೧ ಗುಡಾರವು ಹೊರಡುವಾಗ ಲೇವಿಯರೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಬೇಕು; ಇಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಾಗ ಲೇವಿಯರೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಾಕಬೇಕು. ಇತರರು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮರಣಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು.

When the tabernacle is to move, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall set it up. The unauthorized person who comes near shall be put to death.

52 ೫೨ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಆಯಾ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಡೇರೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮ ದಂಡಿನ ಧ್ವಜದ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their divisions.

53 ೫೩ ಆದರೆ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಮಾತ್ರ ತಮ್ಮ ಡೇರೆಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಹೀಗಾದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೋಪವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಲೇವಿಯರು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವವರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.”

But the Levites shall camp around the Tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be responsible for the Tabernacle of the Testimony."

54 ೫೪ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು.

Thus the children of Israel did. According to all that YHWH commanded Moses, so they did.
