ಯೋಬನು 42
Then Job answered YHWH,
"I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be restrained.
3 ೩ ‘ಜ್ಞಾನವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸತ್ಯಾಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಂಕುಮಾಡುವ ಇವನು ಯಾರು?’ ಎಂಬ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತಿನಂತೆ ನಾನು ತಿಳಿಯದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಮೀರಿರುವ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
You asked, 'Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?' therefore I have uttered that which I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
You said, 'Listen, now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you will answer me.'
I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you.
Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes."
7 ೭ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೋಬನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ತೇಮಾನ್ಯನಾದ ಎಲೀಫಜನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು, “ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ದಾಸನಾದ ಯೋಬನು ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಯಥಾರ್ಥವನ್ನಾಡಿದಂತೆ ನೀನು ಆಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
It was so, that after YHWH had spoken these words to Job, YHWH said to Eliphaz the Temanite, "My wrath is kindled against you, and against your two friends; for you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.
8 ೮ ಈಗ ಏಳು ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಏಳು ಟಗರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ದಾಸನಾದ ಯೋಬನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋಮಮಾಡಿರಿ. ನನ್ನ ದಾಸನಾದ ಯೋಬನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುವನು. ನಾನು ಅವನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೂರ್ಖತನಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿಧಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನನ್ನ ದಾಸನಾದ ಯೋಬನು ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ನುಡಿದಂತೆ ನೀವು ನುಡಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Now therefore, take to yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept him, that I not deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has."
9 ೯ ಆಗ ತೇಮಾನ್ಯನಾದ ಎಲೀಫಜನೂ, ಶೂಹ್ಯನಾದ ಬಿಲ್ದದನೂ, ನಾಮಾಥ್ಯನಾದ ಚೋಫರನೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡಲು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೋಬನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸಿದನು.
So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did what YHWH commanded them, and YHWH accepted Job.
10 ೧೦ ಯೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನ ದುಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸಿ, ಅವನ ಸೊತ್ತನ್ನು ಮೊದಲಿಗಿಂತ ಎರಡರಷ್ಟಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದನು.
YHWH turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends. YHWH gave Job twice as much as he had before.
11 ೧೧ ಆಗ ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಣ್ಣತಮ್ಮಂದಿರೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಕ್ಕತಂಗಿಯರೂ, ಮೊದಲು ಅವನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭೋಜನಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪರಿಚಿತರೂ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಆಪತ್ತಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಅನುತಾಪವನ್ನು ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸಿದರು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಂದೊಂದು ವರಹವನ್ನೂ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಚಿನ್ನದ ಉಂಗುರವನ್ನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
Then came there to him all his brothers, and all his sisters, and all those who had been of his acquaintance before, and ate bread with him in his house. They comforted him, and consoled him concerning all the evil that YHWH had permitted on him. And each of them gave him a kesitah and a gold ring.
12 ೧೨ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೋಬನ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಅವನ ಕಡೆಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಕುರಿಗಳೂ, ಆರು ಸಾವಿರ ಒಂಟೆಗಳೂ, ಒಂದು ಸಾವಿರ ಜೋಡಿ ಎತ್ತುಗಳೂ, ಒಂದು ಸಾವಿರ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಕತ್ತೆಗಳೂ ಉಂಟಾದವು.
So YHWH blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand female donkeys.
He had also seven sons and three daughters.
He called the name of the first, Jemimah; and the name of the second, Keziah; and the name of the third, Keren Happuch.
15 ೧೫ ಯೋಬನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಷ್ಟು ಸುಂದರಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ತಂದೆಯು ಅಣ್ಣತಮ್ಮಂದಿರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿದನು.
In all the land were no women found so beautiful as the daughters of Job. Their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers.
16 ೧೬ ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೋಬನು ನೂರನಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಬಾಳಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು, ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಅಂತು ತನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.
After this Job lived one hundred forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, to four generations.
So Job died, being old and full of days.
