ಯೋಬನು 41

1 ೧ ಲಿವ್ಯಾತಾನ್ ಮೊಸಳೆಯನ್ನು ಮೀನು ಗಾಳದಿಂದ ಎಳೆಯುವಿಯೋ? ಹುರಿಯಿಂದ ಅದರ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಅದುಮಿ ಬಿಗಿಯುವಿಯೋ?

Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord [which] thou lettest down?

2 ೨ ಅದರ ಮೂಗಿಗೆ ಗಾಳವನ್ನು ಇಡುವೆಯೋ? ಅದರ ದವಡೆಗೆ ಮುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಚುಚ್ಚುವಿಯೋ?

Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn?

3 ೩ ಅದು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವುದೋ? ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸವಿಮಾತನಾಡೀತೇ?

Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft [words] unto thee?

4 ೪ ಅದನ್ನು ನೀನು ಸದಾ ಆಳಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ, ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೋ?

Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?

5 ೫ ಅದನ್ನು ಪಕ್ಷಿಯಂತೆ ಆಡಿಸುವೆಯಾ? ನಿನ್ನ ಹುಡುಗಿಯರ ವಿನೋದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವೆಯಾ?

Wilt thou play with him as [with] a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?

6 ೬ ಪಾಲುಗಾರರಾದ ಬೆಸ್ತರು ಅದನ್ನು ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಇಡುವರೋ? ವರ್ತಕರಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿ ಮಾರುವರೋ?

Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants?

7 ೭ ಅದರ ಚರ್ಮವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಕೊಂಡಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಅಥವಾ ತಲೆಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಮೀನಿನ ಈಟಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಚುಚ್ಚಬಲ್ಲೆಯಾ?

Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears?

8 ೮ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಹಾಕಿ ನೋಡು! ಆ ಜಗಳವನ್ನು ನೆನಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ನೀನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.

9 ೯ ಆಹಾ, ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯಬೇಕೆಂಬ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ವ್ಯರ್ಥ! ಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಬಂದವನು ನೋಡಿದ ಮಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗುವನು.

Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not [one] be cast down even at the sight of him?

10 ೧೦ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೆಣಕಲು ಧೈರ್ಯಗೊಳ್ಳುವಷ್ಟು ಉಗ್ರತೆ ಯಾರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಹೀಗಿರಲು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಬಲ್ಲವರು ಯಾರು?

None [is so] fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?

11 ೧೧ ನಾನು ಸಾಲ ತೀರಿಸಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಮೊದಲು ಅದನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟವರು ಯಾರು? ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲದ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಸರ್ವಸ್ವವೂ ನನ್ನದೇ.

Who hath prevented me, that I should repay [him? whatsoever is] under the whole heaven is mine.

12 ೧೨ ನಾನು ಅದರ ಅಂಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಶಕ್ತಿವಿಧಾನವನ್ನೂ ಸೊಗಸಾದ ಜೋಡಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ವರ್ಣಿಸದೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಲಾರೆನು.

I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.

13 ೧೩ ಅದರ ಹೊರಕವಚವನ್ನು ಯಾರು ತೆಗೆಯುವರು? ಜೋಡು ದವಡೆಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರು?

Who can discover the face of his garment? [or] who can come [to him] with his double bridle?

14 ೧೪ ಮುಖದ ಕದಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾರು ತೆರೆದಾರು? ಭಯವು ಅದರ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.

Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth [are] terrible round about.

15 ೧೫ ಗುರಾಣಿಗಳ ಸಾಲುಗಳು ಅದರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅವು ಬಿಗಿದು ಮುದ್ರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ.

[His] scales [are his] pride, shut up together [as with] a close seal.

16 ೧೬ ಗಾಳಿಯು ಕೂಡ ನುಗ್ಗದಂತೆ ಅವು ಒಂದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ.

One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.

17 ೧೭ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡು ವಿಂಗಡಿಸದ ಹಾಗೆ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿವೆ.

They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered.

18 ೧೮ ಅದರ ಸೀನಿನ ತುಂತುರುಗಳು ತಳತಳಿಸುವವು, ಕಣ್ಣು ಅರುಣನೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿದೆ.

By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes [are] like the eyelids of the morning.

19 ೧೯ ಬಾಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿಗಳು ಹೊರಡುವವು, ಬೆಂಕಿಕಿಡಿಗಳು ಹಾರುವವು.

Out of his mouth go burning lamps, [and] sparks of fire leap out.

20 ೨೦ ಆಪುಹುಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಟ್ಟು ಊದಿ ಕಾಯಿಸಿದ ಕೊಪ್ಪರಿಗೆಯಿಂದಲೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಮೂಗಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊಗೆ ಹಾಯುವುದು.

Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as [out] of a seething pot or caldron.

21 ೨೧ ಅದರ ಉಸಿರೇ ಇದ್ದಲನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತಿಸುವುದು, ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ಬಾಯಿಂದೇಳುವುದು.

His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.

22 ೨೨ ಬಲವು ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿದೆ, ಅದರ ಮುಂದೆ ಭಯವು ಕುಣಿದಾಡುವುದು.

In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.

23 ೨೩ ಅದರ ಮಾಂಸದ ಖಂಡಗಳು ಸಡಿಲವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ.

The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.

24 ೨೪ ಅದರ ಹೃದಯವು ಬಂಡೆಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೀಸುವ ಕೆಳಗಲ್ಲಿನಂತೆಯೂ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether [millstone].

25 ೨೫ ಅದು ಎದ್ದರೆ ಶೂರರು ಕೂಡ ಅಂಜಿ ಹೊಡೆತಗಳಿಂದ ಭಯಭ್ರಾಂತರಾಗುವರು.

When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.

26 ೨೬ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಕತ್ತಿಯೊಡನೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೇನೂ ಆಗಲಾರದು; ಬಾಣ ಭರ್ಜಿ ಈಟಿ ಇವುಗಳೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವೇ.

The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.

27 ೨೭ ಅದು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವನ್ನು ಒಣಹುಲ್ಲನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ತಾಮ್ರವನ್ನು ಕೊಳೆತ ಮರವನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಭಾವಿಸುವುದು.

He esteemeth iron as straw, [and] brass as rotten wood.

28 ೨೮ ಬಿಲ್ಲು ಅದನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಲಾರದು, ಕವಣೆಯ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಟ್ಟಿನಂತಿರುವವು.

The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble.

29 ೨೯ ಅದು ದೊಣ್ಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಲ್ಲುಕಡ್ಡಿಯಾಗಿ ಎಣಿಸುವುದು; ಬಿರ್ರನೆ ಬರುವ ಈಟಿಗೆ ನಗುವುದು.

Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.

30 ೩೦ ಅದರ ಕೆಳಭಾಗವು ಚೂಪಾದ ಬೋಕಿಗಳಾಗಿದೆ, ಅದು ಕೆಸರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಲಗೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದು.

Sharp stones [are] under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire.

31 ೩೧ ಜಲನಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಹಂಡೆಯ ನೀರಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಕುದಿಸುವುದು; ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಕಲಕಿದ ತೈಲಪಾತ್ರೆಯಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು.

He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.

32 ೩೨ ಸಾಗರಕ್ಕೆ ನರೆ ಬಂತೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ತಾನು ಬಂದ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಶುಭ್ರಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು.

He maketh a path to shine after him; [one] would think the deep [to be] hoary.

33 ೩೩ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದದ್ದು ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಭಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.

Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.

34 ೩೪ ಇದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಯನ್ನೂ ದಿಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡುವುದು, ಸೊಕ್ಕಿದ ಮೃಗಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜನಾಗಿರುವುದು.

He beholdeth all high [things: ] he [is] a king over all the children of pride.
