ಯೋಬನು 37

1 ೧ “ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ಎದೆಯು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತತ್ತರಗೊಂಡು, ಮಿಡಿಯುತ್ತ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಕದಲುವುದು.

AT this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place.

2 ೨ ಗುಡುಗುಟ್ಟುವ ದೇವರ ಧ್ವನಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ, ಆತನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ!

Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.

3 ೩ ಆತನು ಅದನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಬ್ಬಿಸಿ, ತನ್ನ ಸಿಡಿಲನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಂಚುಗಳವರೆಗೂ ಬಿಡುವನು.

He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.

4 ೪ ಸಿಡಿಲಿನ ತರುವಾಯ ಗರ್ಜನೆಯುಂಟಾಗುವುದು, ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಶಬ್ದದಿಂದ ಗುಡುಗುವನು. ಆ ಶಬ್ದವು ಕೇಳಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಆತನು ಸಿಡಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತಡೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.

5 ೫ ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾಗಿ ಗುಡುಗುವನು; ನಾವು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಾಗದ ಮಹಾಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವನು.

God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.

6 ೬ ಆತನು ಹಿಮಕ್ಕೆ, ‘ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳು’ ಎಂದು, ತನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಳೆಗೆ, ‘ರಭಸದಿಂದ ಸುರಿ’ ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಮಾಡುವನು.

For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.

7 ೭ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.

8 ೮ ಆಗ ಮೃಗಗಳು ಗುಹೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ಗುಹೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವು.

Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.

9 ೯ ಆತನ ಭಂಡಾರದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಿಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯೂ, ಉತ್ತರದಿಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ಚಳಿಗಾಳಿಯೂ ಬರುವವು.

Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north.

10 ೧೦ ದೇವರ ಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ನೀರು ಮಂಜುಗಡ್ಡೆಯಾಗುವುದು, ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ನೀರು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗುವುದು.

By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.

11 ೧೧ ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೋಡಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಂಜಿನ ಭಾರವನ್ನು ಹೇರಿ, ತನ್ನ ಮಿಂಚಿನ ಮೇಘಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ಹರಡುವನು.

Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:

12 ೧೨ ಸಿಡಿಲುಗಳು ಭೂಮಂಡಲದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಾನು ವಿಧಿಸುವುದನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡಲಿ ಎಂದು, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲು ತಿರುಗಿಸುವನು.

And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.

13 ೧೩ ಆತನು ದಂಡನೆಗಾಗಲಿ, ತನ್ನ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಹಿತಕ್ಕಾಗಲಿ, ಕೃಪೆತೋರುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಆ ಮೇಘಗಳನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವನು.

He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

14 ೧೪ ಯೋಬನೇ, ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳು! ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ನಿಂತು ದೇವರ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸು.

Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

15 ೧೫ ದೇವರು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಿ, ತನ್ನ ಮೇಘದ ಸಿಡಿಲು ಹೊಳೆಯ ಮಾಡುವ ರೀತಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆಯೋ?

Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?

16 ೧೬ ಮೋಡಗಳ ತೂಗಾಟವನ್ನೂ, ಜ್ಞಾನಪೂರ್ಣನ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಿಯಾ?

Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?

17 ೧೭ ಭೂಮಿಯು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಗಾಳಿಯ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಸ್ತಬ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಉಡುಪಿನ ಬಿಸಿಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವ ಅರಿವು ನಿನಗಿರುತ್ತದೆಯೇ?

How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?

18 ೧೮ ತಗಡು ಬಡಿದ ಎರಕದ ದರ್ಪಣದಷ್ಟು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ಆತನ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಬಹುದೇ?

Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?

19 ೧೯ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳತಕ್ಕದ್ದನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ನೀನೇ ತಿಳಿಸು, ಅಂಧಕಾರವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕವಿದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಏನೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.

Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.

20 ೨೦ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ? ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುವವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನೇ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಂತೆ.

Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.

21 ೨೧ ಇಗೋ, ಗಾಳಿಯು ಬೀಸಿ ಗಗನವನ್ನು ಶುಭ್ರಪಡಿಸಲು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ದಿಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಲಾರರು.

And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.

22 ೨೨ ಉತ್ತರದಿಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ಹೊನ್ನಿನ ಹೊಳಪು ಹೊರಡುವುದು, ದೇವರು ಭಯಂಕರ ತೇಜಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.

23 ೨೩ ಇಂಥ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯಲಾರೆವು; ಆತನ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವು ಬಹಳ; ಆತನು ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಕುಂದಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.

24 ೨೪ ಆದಕಾರಣ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವರು, ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರನ್ನು ಆತನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.”

Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
