ಯೋಬನು 32

1 ೧ ಆಗ ಯೋಬನು ಸ್ವಂತ ಗಣನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ಮೂವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.

So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he [was] righteous in his own eyes.

2 ೨ ಆಮೇಲೆ ಬೂಜ್ ಕುಲಕ್ಕೂ, ರಾಮ್ ಗೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೂ ಸೇರಿದ ಬರಕೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲೀಹುವಿಗೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟೇರಿತು; ಯೋಬನು ದೇವರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ತಾನೇ ನ್ಯಾಯವಂತನೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಲೀಹುವಿಗೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟು ಬಂತು.

Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

3 ೩ ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನ ಮೂವರು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ಯೋಬನನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸತಕ್ಕ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದುದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೂ ಕೋಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.

Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and [yet] had condemned Job.

4 ೪ ಅವರು ತನಗಿಂತ ವೃದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ, ಎಲೀಹು ಯೋಬನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ಮಾತನಾಡದೆ ತಡೆದಿದ್ದನು.

Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken because they [were] older than he.

5 ೫ ಎಲೀಹು ಈ ಮೂವರ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಕ ಉತ್ತರವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ರೋಷಗೊಂಡನು.

When Elihu saw that [there was] no answer in the mouth of [these] three men, then his wrath was kindled.

6 ೬ ಆಗ ಬೂಜ್ ಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಬರಕೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಆ ಎಲೀಹು ಇಂತೆಂದನು, “ನಾನು ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನು, ನೀವು ನನಗಿಂತ ಹಿರಿಯರು; ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಸಂಕೋಚಪಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡಲು ಹೆದರಿದೆನು.”

And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I [am] young, and ye [are] very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not show you my opinion.

7 ೭ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು, “ಹೆಚ್ಚು ದಿನಗಳವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಲಿ, ಬಹಳ ವರ್ಷದವರು ಜ್ಞಾನೋಪದೇಶಮಾಡಲಿ” ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆನು.

I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.

8 ೮ ಆದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಆತ್ಮವೊಂದುಂಟು, ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರ ಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿವೇಕ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.

But [there is] a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

9 ೯ ವೃದ್ಧರೇ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಲ್ಲ, ಮುದುಕರು ಮಾತ್ರ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಬಲ್ಲವರಲ್ಲ.

Great men are not [always] wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

10 ೧೦ ಆದಕಾರಣ, “ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ, ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will show my opinion.

11 ೧೧ ಇಗೋ, ನೀವು ಆಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾದು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು; ಏನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೀವು ಆಲೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೆನು.

Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.

12 ೧೨ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೆನು; ಆಹಾ, ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಬನನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸಬಲ್ಲವನು, ಅವನ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡತಕ್ಕವನು, ಯಾರೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ.

Yes, I attended to you, and behold, [there was] none of you that convinced Job, [or] that answered his words:

13 ೧೩ ‘ನಾವು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ದೇವರೇ ಅವನನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸಿಬಿಡಲಿ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಂದಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ.

Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.

14 ೧೪ ಅವನು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕೂಲವಾಗಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ವಾದವನ್ನು ಹೂಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುವಾಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡೆನು.

Now he hath not directed [his] words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.

15 ೧೫ ಅವರು ಬೆರಗಾಗಿ ಇನ್ನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡಲಾರರು, ಅವರ ಸೊಲ್ಲೇ ಅಡಗಿಹೋಯಿತು.

They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.

16 ೧೬ ಅವರು ಇನ್ನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡದೆ ಮೌನವಾಗಿ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಾನೂ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರಬೇಕೋ?

When I had waited, (for they spoke not, but stood still, [and] answered no more; )

17 ೧೭ ನಾನೂ ನನ್ನ ಪಾಲಿನ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವೆನು, ನಾನೂ ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವೆನು.

[I said], I will answer also my part, I also will show my opinion.

18 ೧೮ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತುಗಳು ತುಂಬಿವೆ, ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಾತ್ಮವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.

19 ೧೯ ಆಹಾ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿ, ಬಾಯಿಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಹೊಸ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯು ಒಡೆದುಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗಿದೆ.

Behold, my belly [is] as wine [which] hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.

20 ೨೦ ನನಗೆ ಉಪಶಮನವಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು ಉತ್ತರ ಹೇಳುವೆನು.

I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.

21 ೨೧ ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಮುಖದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಬಾರದು, ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗಾದರೂ ಮುಖಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಕೂಡದು.

Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles to man.

22 ೨೨ ಮುಖಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನಿಂದಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಗ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.

For I know not to give flattering titles; [in so doing], my Maker would soon take me away.
