ಯೆಶಾಯನು 59
Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
2 ೨ ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಗಲಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿವೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳೇ ಆತನು ಕೇಳಲಾರದಂತೆ ಆತನ ಮುಖಕ್ಕೆ ಅಡ್ಡವಾಗಿವೆ.
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear.
3 ೩ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳು ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ಹೊಲಸಾಗಿವೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬೆರಳುಗಳು ಅಪರಾಧದಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿವೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ತುಟಿಗಳು ಸುಳ್ಳಾಡುತ್ತವೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ಕೆಡುಕನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.
For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
4 ೪ ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಯಾರೂ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ವಾದಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಇವರು ಶೂನ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನಂಬಿಕೊಂಡು ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಹಿಂಸೆಯನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭಧರಿಸಿ ಶ್ರಮೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
None calleth for justice, nor [any] pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
5 ೫ ಹಾವಿನಂತೆ ಕೇಡಿನ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮರಿಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಜೇಡರ ಹುಳದಂತೆ ಬಲೆಯನ್ನು ನೇಯುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಆ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವವನಿಗೆ ಮರಣ ಉಂಟಾಗುವುದು, ಅದನ್ನು ಒಡೆದುಬಿಡುವುದರಿಂದ ವಿಷದ ಮರಿ ಹೊರಡುವುದು.
They hatch cockatrice’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.
6 ೬ ಇವರ ಬಲೆಯ ದಾರವು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯಾಗದು, ಇವರು ನೇಯ್ದದ್ದು ಹೊದಿಕೆಯಾಗದು; ಇವರ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಅಧರ್ಮಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು, ಇವರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರವೇ ತುಂಬಿದೆ.
Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works [are] works of iniquity, and the act of violence [is] in their hands.
7 ೭ ಇವರ ಕಾಲುಗಳು ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ ಓಡುತ್ತವೆ, ಇವರು ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಲು ಆತುರಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಇವರ ಯೋಚನೆಗಳು ಅಧರ್ಮದ ಯೋಚನೆಗಳೇ, ಇವರು ಹೋದ ದಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಷ್ಟವೂ, ನಾಶನವೂ ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತವೆ;
Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts [are] thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction [are] in their paths.
8 ೮ ಇವರು ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನೇ ಅರಿಯರು, ಇವರ ಹಾದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ನ್ಯಾಯವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಡೊಂಕು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವವರು ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಅರಿಯರು.
The way of peace they know not; and [there is] no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
9 ೯ ಆದಕಾರಣ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನ್ಯಾಯನಿರ್ಣಯವು ನಮಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಆತನ ರಕ್ಷಣಾಧರ್ಮದ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ನಮಗೆ ಲಭಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಎದುರುನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯೇ ಆವರಿಸಿದೆ, ಜ್ಯೋತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಾವು ಅಂಧಕಾರದಲ್ಲೇ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತೇವೆ.
Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, [but] we walk in darkness.
10 ೧೦ ಕುರುಡರಂತೆ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ತಡವರಿಸಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತೇವೆ, ಹೌದು, ಕಣ್ಣಿಲ್ಲದವರ ಹಾಗೆ ತಡಕಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ, ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಜೆಯಂತೆ ಎಡವುತ್ತೇವೆ, ಪುಷ್ಟರ ನಡುವೆ ಸತ್ತವರ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if [we had] no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night; [we are] in desolate places as dead [men].
11 ೧೧ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕರಡಿಗಳಂತೆ ಗುರುಗುಟ್ಟುತ್ತೇವೆ, ಪಾರಿವಾಳಗಳಂತೆ ಮುಲುಗುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ; ನಾವು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನ್ಯಾಯನಿರ್ಣಯವನ್ನು ಎದುರುನೋಡಿದರೂ ಅದು ನಮಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕದು, ಆತನ ರಕ್ಷಣಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರೂ ಅದು ನಮಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but [there is] none; for salvation, [but] it is far off from us.
12 ೧೨ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ತಪ್ಪುಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿವೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಡುತ್ತವೆ; ನಮ್ಮ ತಪ್ಪುಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡಲೇ ಇವೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವೇ ಬಲ್ಲೆವು.
For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions [are] with us; and [as for] our iniquities, we know them;
13 ೧೩ ಹೌದು, ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿ ನಡೆದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆದಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅವನಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನೂ ದ್ರೋಹವನ್ನೂ ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಹೃದಯಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಸುಳ್ಳುಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿ ಆಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
14 ೧೪ ನ್ಯಾಯವು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ, ಧರ್ಮವು ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದೆ, ಸತ್ಯವು ಚಾವಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗಿದೆ, ಯಥಾರ್ಥತ್ವವು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಲಾರದು.
And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
Yea, truth faileth; and he [that] departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw [it], and it displeased him that [there was] no judgment.
16 ೧೬ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದು ವ್ಯಸನಗೊಂಡನು; ಉದ್ಧಾರಕನಾದ ಯಾವ ಪುರುಷನೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಕಂಡು ಸ್ತಬ್ಧನಾದನು; ಆಗ ಆತನ ಸ್ವಹಸ್ತವೇ ಆತನಿಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸಾಧನವಾಯಿತು, ಆತನ ಧರ್ಮವೇ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಆಧಾರವಾಯಿತು.
And he saw that [there was] no man, and wondered that [there was] no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
17 ೧೭ ಅವನು ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ವಜ್ರಕವಚವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು, ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯೆಂಬ ಶಿರಸ್ತ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು; ರೋಷವೆಂಬ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಉಡುಪುಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಸೇಡನ್ನು ನಿಲುವಂಗಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡನು.
For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance [for] clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.
18 ೧೮ ತನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟ ಕ್ರೋಧವನ್ನು ಈಡೇರಿಸಿ, ತನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಿ, ಅವರವರ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸುವನು; ಕರಾವಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವವರಿಗೂ ತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವನು.
According to [their] deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.
19 ೧೯ ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆದರುವರು, ಪೂರ್ವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನವರು ಆತನ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೆ ಅಂಜುವರು; ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿಯುವ ತೊರೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಆತನು ರಭಸದಿಂದ ಬರುವನಷ್ಟೆ.
So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
20 ೨೦ “ಒಬ್ಬ ವಿಮೋಚಕನು ಚೀಯೋನಿಗೂ, ದ್ರೋಹವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟ ಯಾಕೋಬ್ಯರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಬರುವನು”, ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಇದನ್ನು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.
21 ೨೧ ನಾನಂತೂ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು, ನೋಡಿರಿ; “ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಮಾತುಗಳೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿಂದಾಗಲಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯ ಬಾಯಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯ ಸಂತಾನದ ಬಾಯಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ಇಂದಿನಿಂದ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ತೊಲಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
As for me, this [is] my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that [is] upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.
