ಹೋಶೇಯನು 12

1 ೧ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಮೇಯಿಸುವ ಮಂದೆಯು ಗಾಳಿಯೇ, ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವ ಬೇಟೆಯು ಮೂಡಣಗಾಳಿಯೇ. ಅದು ಮೋಸವನ್ನೂ, ಹಿಂಸೆಯನ್ನೂ ನಿರಂತರ ಹೆಚ್ಚೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಅಶ್ಶೂರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಂದವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ; ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

Ephraim is fed with the winde, and followeth after the East winde: hee increaseth daily lies and destruction, and they do make a couenant with Asshur, and oyle is caried into Egypt.

2 ೨ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮೇಲೆ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತೊಡಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಯಾಕೋಬನ್ನು ಅದರ ನಡತೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ದಂಡಿಸುವನು, ಅದರ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕಾರಮಾಡುವನು.

The Lord hath also a controuersie with Iudah, and will visite Iaakob, according to his waies: according to his workes, wil he recompence him.

3 ೩ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣನ ಹಿಮ್ಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ಎಳೆದನು, ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೋರಾಡಿದನು;

Hee tooke his brother by the heele in the wombe, and by his strength he had power with God,

4 ೪ ಹೌದು, ದೇವದೂತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋರಾಡಿ ಗೆದ್ದನು; ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಆತನ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬೇತೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿಯು ಕಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನೊಡನೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು.

And had power ouer the Angel, and preuailed: he wept and praied vnto him: he founde him in Beth-el, and there he spake with vs.

5 ೫ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬುದೇ ಆತನನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವ ನಾಮಧೇಯ.

Yea, the Lord God of hostes, the Lord is himselfe his memoriall.

6 ೬ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ನೀನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೋ; ನೀತಿ, ಪ್ರೀತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಎಡೆಬಿಡದೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರು.

Therefore turne thou to thy God: keepe mercy and iudgement, and hope still in thy God.

7 ೭ ಕಾನಾನು! ಅದರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಸದ ತ್ರಾಸು ಇದೆ; ಕಸಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂಬದೇ ಅದರ ಆಶೆ.

He is Canaan: the balances of deceit are in his hand: he loueth to oppresse.

8 ೮ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು, “ನಾನು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನೇ ಹೌದು, ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ದುಡಿತದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪವೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದೋಷವೇನೂ ತೋರಲಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೋ?

And Ephraim saide, Notwithstanding I am rich, I haue found me out riches in all my labours: they shall finde none iniquitie in me, that were wickednesse.

9 ೯ ನೀನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಂದಿನಿಂದ ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಜಾತ್ರೆಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ವನವಾಸಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಗತಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ತರುವೆನು.

Though I am the Lord thy God, from the land of Egypt, yet will I make thee to dwel in the tabernacles, as in the daies of the solemne feast.

10 ೧೦ ನಾನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಬಹಳ ದಿವ್ಯದರ್ಶನಗಳನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

I haue also spoken by the Prophets, and I haue multiplied visions, and vsed similitudes by the ministerie of the Prophets.

11 ೧೧ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದು ಅಧರ್ಮಮಯವೋ? ಅದು ಶೂನ್ಯದ ಗತಿಗೆ ಬರುವುದು; ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಮೇಧವು ನಡೆಯುವುದೋ? ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗಳು ಹೊಲದ ನೇಗಿಲ ಗೆರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಲುಕುಪ್ಪೆಗಳಾಗಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವವು.

Is there iniquitie in Gilead? surely they are vanitie: they sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal, and their altars are as heapes in the furrowes of the field.

12 ೧೨ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಪದ್ದನ್ ಅರಾಮಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದನು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಮದುವೆಗಾಗಿ ಜೀತಮಾಡಿದನು, ಹೆಣ್ಣಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾದನು.

And Iaakob fled into the countrey of Aram, and Israel serued for a wife, and for a wife he kept sheepe.

13 ೧೩ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಪಾರುಮಾಡಿದನು; ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಅದು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.

And by a Prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a Prophet was he reserued.

14 ೧೪ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಅತಿ ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣವಾಗಿ ರೇಗಿಸಿದೆ, ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅದರ ಒಡೆಯನು ಅದರ ರಕ್ತಾಪರಾಧವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಿಸಿ, ಅದು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅವಮಾನವನ್ನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿಸುವನು.

But Ephraim prouoked him with hie places: therefore shall his blood be powred vpon him, and his reproche shall his Lord reward him.
