ಯೆಹೆಜ್ಕೇಲನು 21
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 ೨ “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಅಭಿಮುಖನಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇಶ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಿ,
Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop [thy word] toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against the land of Israel;
3 ೩ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಸಾರಿ ಹೇಳು, ‘ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಆಹಾ, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನನ್ನ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಒರೆಯಿಂದ ಹಿರಿದು, ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿನ ಶಿಷ್ಟರನ್ನೂ, ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನೂ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುವೆನು.
and say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD: Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.
4 ೪ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿನ ಶಿಷ್ಟರನ್ನೂ, ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನೂ ಸಂಹರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಖಡ್ಗವು ಒರೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರದವರೆಗೆ ಸಕಲ ನರಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವುದು.
Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:
5 ೫ ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನಾನೇ ನನ್ನ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಒರೆಯಿಂದ ಹಿರಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ’ ಎಂಬುದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನರಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದು; ಅದು ಪುನಃ ಒರೆಗೆ ಸೇರದು.”
and all flesh shall know that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword out of its sheath; it shall not return any more.
Sigh therefore, thou son of man; with the breaking of thy loins and with bitterness shalt thou sigh before their eyes.
7 ೭ ‘ಏಕೆ ನರಳಾಡುತ್ತೀ?’ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, ‘ಕೆಟ್ಟ ವಾರ್ತೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನರಳುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಇಗೋ, ವಿಪತ್ತು ಬಂತು; ಎಲ್ಲರ ಹೃದಯವು ಕರಗಿ ನೀರಾಗುವುದು; ಎಲ್ಲರ ಕೈ ಜೋಲು ಬೀಳುವುದು, ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಕುಂದುವುದು, ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮೊಣಕಾಲು ನೀರಿನಂತೆ ಚಂಚಲವಾಗುವುದು; ಇಗೋ, ಬಂದಿತು, ಬಂದಾಯಿತು’ ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡು.”
And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt say, Because of the tidings, for it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and it shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
9 ೯ “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಕರ್ತನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ನುಡಿದು ಹೀಗೆ ಸಾರು, ‘ಆಹಾ, ಖಡ್ಗ, ಸಾಣೆ ಹಿಡಿದ ಖಡ್ಗ, ಮಸೆದ ಖಡ್ಗ!
Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD: Say, A sword, a sword, it is sharpened, and also furbished:
10 ೧೦ ಸಂಹರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸಾಣೆ ಹಿಡಿದಿದೆ, ಮಿಂಚುವಂತೆ ಮಸೆದಿದೆ; ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಮಾರನ ರಾಜದಂಡವು ಉಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತದಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಸಂಭ್ರಮಪಡಬಹುದೇ?
it is sharpened that it may make a slaughter; it is furbished that it may be as lightning: shall we then make mirth? the rod of my son, it contemneth every tree.
And it is given to be furbished, that it may be handled: the sword, it is sharpened, yea, it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.
12 ೧೨ ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಕೂಗಿಕೋ, ಗೋಳಾಡು! ಖಡ್ಗವು ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಬಿದ್ದಿದೆ; ಆ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಖಡ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ತೊಡೆಯನ್ನು ಬಡಿದುಕೋ.’”
Cry and howl, son of man: for it is upon my people, it is upon all the princes of Israel: they are delivered over to the sword with my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh.
13 ೧೩ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಶೋಧನೆಯು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿತು; ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ರಾಜದಂಡವೇ ನಾಶವಾದರೆ ಗತಿಯೇನು?
For there is a trial; and what if even the rod that contemneth shall be no more? saith the Lord GOD.
14 ೧೪ ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಾರಿ ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆ ಹೊಡಿ; ಖಡ್ಗವು ಎರಡರಷ್ಟು, ಮೂರರಷ್ಟು ಸಂಹರಿಸಲಿ! ಪ್ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ಹತಿಸುವ ಖಡ್ಗ! ಸುತ್ತಲು ಬೀಸಿ, ಅಧಿಪತಿಯನ್ನು ಹತಿಸುವ ಖಡ್ಗ!
Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine hands together; and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the deadly wounded: it is the sword of the great one that is deadly wounded, which entereth into their chambers.
15 ೧೫ ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವು ನೀರಾಗಿ ಬಹಳ ಜನರು ಎಡವಿ ಬೀಳುವಂತೆ ಸಂಹರಿಸುವ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಅವರ ಪುರದ್ವಾರಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆಹಾ, ಮಿಂಚಿನಂತೆ ಮಿಂಚುತ್ತದೆ, ವಧೆಗಾಗಿ ಹಂತವಾಗಿ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ!
I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may melt, and their stumblings be multiplied: ah! it is made as lightning, it is pointed for slaughter.
Gather thee together, go to the right; set thyself in array, go to the left; whithersoever thy face is set.
I will also smite mine hands together, and I will satisfy my fury: I the LORD have spoken it.
The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,
19 ೧೯ “ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಖಡ್ಗವು ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಎರಡು ದಾರಿಗಳ ನಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಬರೆ; ಅವೆರಡು ಒಂದೇ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ಹಾಗಿರಲಿ; ಒಂದೊಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ದಾರಿಯ ಮೊದಲಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಮರವನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರಿಸು.
Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come; they twain shall come forth out of one land: and mark out a place, mark it out at the head of the way to the city.
20 ೨೦ ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರ ರಬ್ಬಾ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೂ, ಯೆಹೂದದೊಳಗೆ ಕೋಟೆ ಕೊತ್ತಲಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ ಖಡ್ಗವು ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡು.
Thou shalt appoint a way, for the sword to come to Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and to Judah in Jerusalem the defenced.
21 ೨೧ “ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಕವಲೊಡೆಯುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ, ಎರಡು ದಾರಿಗಳ ಮೊದಲಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಶಕುನ ನೋಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಕಿ, ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಕೇಳಿ, ಕಾಳಿಜವನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he shook the arrows to and fro, he consulted the teraphim, he looked in the liver.
22 ೨೨ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಗುರುತಿನ ಬಾಣವು ಅವನ ಬಲಗೈಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ಭೇದಿಸುವ ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಬಾಯಿದೆರೆದು ಸಂಹಾರ ಧ್ವನಿಗೈದು ಕೂಗಿ! ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಚಿತ್ತ ಭೇದಕ ಯಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಒಡ್ಡು ಕಟ್ಟಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅದರಿಂದ ಸೂಚನೆಯಾಯಿತು.
In his right hand was the divination [for] Jerusalem, to set battering rams, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to set battering rams against the gates, to cast up mounts, to build forts.
23 ೨೩ ಪುರನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ತಾವು ಆ ಅರಸನಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಟ್ಟು, ಈ ಶಕುನವು ಸುಳ್ಳೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುವರು; ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವರ ಅಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಬಯಲಿಗೆ ತರಲು ಅವನ ಕೈಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬೀಳುವರು.”
And it shall be unto them as a vain divination in their sight, which have sworn oaths unto them: but he bringeth iniquity to remembrance, that they may be taken.
24 ೨೪ ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳು ಬಯಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಲೆದೋರಿ, ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದು, ಪಾಪಿಗಳಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ತಂದಿರುವಿರಿ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ಕೈಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ಬೀಳುವಿರಿ.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.
And thou, O deadly wounded wicked one, the prince of Israel, whose day is come, in the time of the iniquity of the end;
26 ೨೬ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಮುಂಡಾಸವನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತುಬಿಡು! ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕು! ಅದು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ತಗ್ಗಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿ, ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸುವೆನು.
thus saith the Lord GOD: Remove the mitre, and take off the crown: this [shall be] no more the same: exalt that which is low, and abase that which is high.
27 ೨೭ ಧ್ವಂಸ, ನಾನು ಧ್ವಂಸ ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯನು ಬರುವುದರೊಳಗೆ ಒಂದೂ ಇದ್ದಂತೆ ಇರದು; ಅವನಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಹಿಸುವೆನು.”
I will overturn, overturn, overturn it: this also shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it [him].
28 ೨೮ ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ದೈವಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹೀಗೆ ನುಡಿ, “ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಮಾಡುವ ದೂಷಣೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ‘ಆಹಾ, ಖಡ್ಗ, ಸಂಹರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿರಿದಿದೆ, ಮಿಂಚುವಂತೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಸೆದಿದೆ.
And thou, son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach; and say thou, A sword, a sword is drawn, for the slaughter it is furbished, to cause it to devour, that it may be as lightning:
29 ೨೯ ಅಮ್ಮೋನೇ, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನವರು ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆವು ಎಂದು ಸುಳ್ಳು ಸುಳ್ಳಾಗಿ ಶಕುನ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಮಯವು ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗಿ, ಅಪರಾಧದ ಕಡೆಗಾಲವು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿ, ಹತರಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವ ದುಷ್ಟರ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡು! ಜೋಯಿಸರನ್ನು ನಂಬಿದ ನೀನೂ ಆ ದುಷ್ಟರ ಕತ್ತುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಒರಗಿ ಬೀಳುವೆ.
whiles they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine lies unto thee, to lay thee upon the necks of the wicked that are deadly wounded, whose day is come, in the time of the iniquity of the end.
30 ೩೦ “‘ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಒರೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸು. ನಿನ್ನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಜನ್ಮಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರಿಸುವೆನು.
Cause it to return into its sheath. In the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy birth, will I judge thee.
31 ೩೧ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿ, ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಊದಿ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೃಗಪ್ರಾಯರೂ, ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಗಟ್ಟಿಗರೂ ಆದವರ ಕೈಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಸುವೆನು.
And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee; I will blow upon thee with the fire of my wrath: and I will deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, skilful to destroy.
32 ೩೨ ನೀನು ಅಗ್ನಿಗೆ ಆಹುತಿಯಾಗುವಿ; ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ತವು ದೇಶದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇರುವುದು; ನೀನು ಇನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ’ ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನಾನೇ ಇದನ್ನು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.”
Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.
