ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು 11
“And so, from the first year of Darius the Mede, I stood firm, so that he might be reinforced and strengthened.
2 ೨ ನಾನು ಈಗ ಸತ್ಯಾಂಶವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವೆನು, “ಇಗೋ, ಪಾರಸಿಯ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಮೂವರು ರಾಜರು ಏಳುವರು; ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ರಾಜನು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಧನವಂತನಾಗಿರುವನು; ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಧನದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಬಲನಾಗಿ ಗ್ರೀಕ್ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಬಲವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವನು.
And now I will announce to you the truth. Behold, up to a certain point, three kings will stand in Persia, and the fourth will be exceedingly enriched in power above them all. And when he has grown strong by his resources, he will stir up all against the kingdom of Greece.
3 ೩ ಅನಂತರ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯಾದ ಒಬ್ಬ ರಾಜನು ಎದ್ದು ಮಹಾ ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದಿಂದ ಆಳುತ್ತಾ, ತನ್ನ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
But there will rise up a strong king, and he will rule with great power, and he will do what he pleases.
4 ೪ ಅವನು ತಲೆಯೆತ್ತಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಒಡೆದು ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗೂ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಾಲಾಗುವುದು. ಅದು ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಗೆ ಭಾಗವಾಗದು. ಅವನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಗಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಇನ್ನು ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಗದು. ಆ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಕೀಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ನಾಲ್ವರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಇತರರಿಗೂ ಪಾಲಾಗುವುದು.
And when he has been firmly established, his kingdom will be shattered and will be divided towards the four winds of the heaven, but not to his posterity, nor according to his power with which he ruled. For his kingdom will be torn to pieces, even for the outsiders who have been expelled from these.
5 ೫ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ರಾಜನೂ, ಅವನ ಸರದಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಬಲಗೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಸರದಾರನು ರಾಜನಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬಲಗೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವನು. ಅವನ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ದೊಡ್ಡ ರಾಜ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
And the king of the South will be reinforced, yet one of his leaders will prevail over him, and he will rule with riches, for great is his domain.
6 ೬ ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನ ಕುಮಾರಿಯು ಉತ್ತರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ರಾಜನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವಳು. ಆದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಭುಜಬಲವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಆಗದು; ಅವನೂ, ಅವನ ತೋಳೂ ನಿಲ್ಲವು; ಅವಳೂ, ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ತಂದವರೂ, ಪಡೆದವನೂ, ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡವನೂ ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಈಡಾಗುವರು.
And after the end of years, they will form a federation, and the daughter of the king of the South will come to the king of the North to make friendship, but she will not obtain the strength of arms, neither will her offspring stand firm, and she will be handed over, along with those who brought her, her young men, and those who comforted her in these times.
7 ೭ ಅನಂತರ ಅವಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ವಂಶವೃಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರು ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನ ಸೈನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟು ಅವನ ದುರ್ಗದೊಳಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗಿ, ಅವರೊಡನೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲುವರು.
And a transplant from the germination of her roots will stand up, and he will come with an army, and will enter into the province of the king of the North, and he will abuse them, and will hold it fast.
8 ೮ ಅವರ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಎರಕದ ಬೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಒಳ್ಳೊಳ್ಳೆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಬಂಗಾರದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸೂರೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು, ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ತನಕ ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನ ತಂಟೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
And, in addition, he will carry away captive into Egypt their gods, and their graven images, and likewise their precious vessels of gold and silver. He will prevail against the king of the North.
9 ೯ ಬಳಿಕ ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವನು. ಆದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವನು.
And the king of the South will enter into the kingdom, and will return to his own land.
10 ೧೦ ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯುದ್ಧ ಸನ್ನಾಹ ಮಾಡಿ ಮಹಾವ್ಯೂಹವಾದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವರು. ಆ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ಮುಂದುವರೆದು ತುಂಬಿತುಳುಕಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು. ಅವರು ಪುನಃ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನ ದುರ್ಗದವರೆಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗುವರು.
But his sons will be challenged, and they will assemble a multitude of very many forces. And he will arrive rushing and overflowing. And he will be turned back, and he will be enraged, and he will join the battle in his redness.
11 ೧೧ ಆಗ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನು ಕ್ರೋಧದಿಂದ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತಾ ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದು, ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವನು. ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನು ಮಹಾವ್ಯೂಹವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದರೂ, ಅದೆಲ್ಲಾ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನ ಕೈಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ಒಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಡುವುದು.
And the king of the South, having being challenged, will go forth and will fight against the king of the North, and he will prepare an exceedingly great multitude, and a multitude will be given into his hand.
12 ೧೨ ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಗರ್ವದಿಂದ ತುಂಬುವುದು. ಅವನು ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಸೈನಿಕರನ್ನು ಬೀಳಿಸಿದರೂ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
And he will seize a multitude, and his heart will be exalted, and he will cast down many thousands, but he will not prevail.
13 ೧೩ ತರುವಾಯ ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನು ಹಿಂದಿನ ದಂಡಿಗಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದಂಡನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಬಹಳ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಮಹಾ ಸೈನ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ, ಅಧಿಕ ಆಯುಧಗಳ ಸಮೇತವಾಗಿಯೂ ಬರುವನು.
For the king of the North will change strategy and will prepare a multitude much greater than before, and at the end of times and years, he will rush forward with a great army and exceedingly great resources.
14 ೧೪ ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನಿಗೆ ಎದುರು ನಿಲ್ಲುವರು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂಸಕರು ಕನಸನ್ನು ನಿಜ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ದಂಗೆ ಏಳುವರು. ಆದರೆ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗುವರು.
And in those times, many will rise up against the king of the South. And likewise the sons of the deceivers among your people will extol themselves, so as to fulfill the vision, and they will collapse.
15 ೧೫ ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನು ಬಂದು ದಿಬ್ಬ ಹಾಕಿ, ಕೋಟೆ ಕೊತ್ತಲದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವನು; ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಭುಜಬಲವು ನಿಲ್ಲದು, ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಹಾವೀರರು ತಡೆಯಲಾರರು, ಎದುರಿಸುವ ಯಾವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೂ ಇರದು.
And the king of the North will arrive and will transport siege works, and he will seize the most fortified cities. And the arms of the South will not withstand him, and his elect will rise up to resist, but the strength will not.
16 ೧೬ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಬರುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಇಚ್ಛಾನುಸಾರ ನಡೆಯುವನು. ಅವನನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರು ಇಲ್ಲ, ನಾಶವನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಅಂದ ಚಂದದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವನು.
And when he arrives, he will do just as he pleases, and there will be none who stand against his face. And he will stand in the illustrious land, and it will be consumed by his hand.
17 ೧೭ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಬಲ ಸಮೇತನಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟು, ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. ಅವನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಹಾನಿಗಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವನು. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಉಪಾಯವೂ ನಿಲ್ಲದು, ತನಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
And he will set his face to strive to hold his entire kingdom, and he will make fair conditions with him. And he will give him a daughter among women, so as to overthrow it. But she will not stand, neither will she be for him.
18 ೧೮ ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ಕರಾವಳಿಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣಿಟ್ಟು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕ್ರಮಿಸುವನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಮಾಡುವ ನಿಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಸರದಾರನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುವುದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಅದು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ತಿರುಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವನು.
And he will turn his face towards the islands, and he will seize many. And he will cause the leader of his reproach to cease, and his reproach will be turned around for him.
And he will turn his face to the empire of his own land, and he will strike, and will overthrow, but he will not succeed.
20 ೨೦ ಅವನ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಎದ್ದು, ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿರೋಮಣಿಯಾದ ದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ದೋಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳತಕ್ಕವನನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸುವನು. ಅವನು ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳೊಳಗೆ ನಾಶವಾಗುವನು. ಅವನ ನಾಶ ಕೋಪದ ಪೆಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದಲ್ಲ, ಯುದ್ಧದಿಂದಲೂ ಅಲ್ಲ.
And there will stand up in his place one who is most worthless and unworthy of kingly honor. And in a short time, he will be worn out, but not in fury, nor in battle.
21 ೨೧ “ಅವನ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಪದವಿಗೆ ಹಕ್ಕುದಾರನಲ್ಲದ ಒಬ್ಬ ನೀಚನು ಎದ್ದು, ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ನಯವಾದ ನುಡಿಗಳಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
And there will stand up in his place the despicable one, and he will not be assigned the honor of a king. And he will arrive in secret, and he will obtain the kingdom by deceitfulness.
And the arms of the fighting will be assaulted before his face and will be shattered, and, in addition, the leader of the federation.
And, after making friends, he will trick him, and he will go up and will overcome with a small people.
24 ೨೪ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದ ಫಲವತ್ತಾದ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನುಗ್ಗುವನು. ತಂದೆ, ತಾತಂದಿರು ಮಾಡದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವನು, ಸೂರೆ, ಸುಲಿಗೆ, ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಹೊಡೆದವುಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನವರಿಗೆ ಚೆಲ್ಲಿಬಿಡುವನು. ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಕುತಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊನೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಮುಂದುವರೆಸುವನು.
And he will enter into rich and resourceful cities, and he will do what his fathers never did, nor his fathers’ fathers. He will scatter their spoils, and their prey, and their riches, and will form a plan against the most steadfast, and this until a time.
25 ೨೫ ಅವನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ದಂಡೆತ್ತಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಬಲವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವನು. ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನು ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳ ಮಹಾ ಸೈನ್ಯಸಮೇತನಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡುವನು. ಆದರೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಾರನು, ಅವನು ಸೋಲುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವನು.
And his strength and his heart will be enraged against the king of the South with a great army. And the king of the South will be provoked into going to war by having many allies and exceedingly good circumstances, and yet these will not stand, for they will form plans against him.
26 ೨೬ ಅವನ ಮೃಷ್ಟಾನ್ನವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವವರೇ ಅವನನ್ನು ಭಂಗಪಡಿಸುವರು; ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ತುಂಬಿ ತುಳುಕುವುದು. ಬಹಳ ಜನರು ಹತರಾಗಿ ಬೀಳುವರು.
And those who eat bread with him will crush him, and his army will be suppressed, and very many will die, having been executed.
27 ೨೭ ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ರಾಜರು ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಕೇಡಿನ ಮನಸುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ ಸಹ ಪಂಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಳ್ಳುಸುಳ್ಳು ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಆದರೆ ಏನೂ ಸಾಗದು, ಪರಿಣಾಮವು ನಿಶ್ಚಿತ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲೇ ತಲೆದೋರುವುದು.
And the heart of two kings will be similar, to do harm, and they will speak lies at one table, but they will not succeed, because as yet the end is for another time.
28 ೨೮ ಅನಂತರ ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನು ಬಹಳ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಹೊಡೆದು ಸ್ವದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವನು. ಅವನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಿಬಂಧನೆಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವುದು. ಅವನು ತನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟ ಬಂದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸ್ವದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸೇರುವನು.
And he will return to his land with many resources. And his heart will be against the holy testament, and he will act, and he will return to his own land.
At the appointed time, he will return, and he will approach the South, but the latter time will not be like the former.
30 ೩೦ ಅವನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕಿತ್ತೀಮಿನ ಹಡಗುಗಳು ಬರಲು, ಅವನು ಎದೆಗುಂದಿ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಿಬಂಧನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮತ್ಸರಗೊಂಡು ತನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟ ಬಂದಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವನು. ಅವನು ಸ್ವದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಿಬಂಧನೆಯನ್ನು ತೊರೆದವರನ್ನು ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು.
And the Greek warships and the Romans will come upon him, and he will be pierced, and will retreat, and will have scorn against the testament of the sanctuary, and he will act. And he will return and will consult their adversaries, who have forsaken the covenant of the sanctuary.
31 ೩೧ ಅವನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ಆಶ್ರಯ ದುರ್ಗವಾದ ಪವಿತ್ರಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಗೆಡಿಸಿ, ನಿತ್ಯಹೋಮವನ್ನು ನೀಗಿಸಿ, ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಸ್ತುವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸುವುದು.
And arms will take his side, and they will pollute the sanctuary of the strength, and they will take away the continual sacrifice and will replace it with the abomination of desolation.
32 ೩೨ ನಿಬಂಧನ ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳು ಅವನ ನಯನುಡಿಗಳಿಂದ ಕೆಟ್ಟುಹೋಗುವರು. ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅರಿತವರೋ ದೃಢಚಿತ್ತರಾಗಿ ಕೃತಾರ್ಥರಾಗುವರು.
And the impious within the testament will imitate deceitfully, but the people, knowing their God, will persevere and will act.
33 ೩೩ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿನ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಅನೇಕರಿಗೆ ವಿವೇಕ ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿ, ಅವರು ಬಹಳ ದಿನ ಕತ್ತಿ, ಬೆಂಕಿ, ಸೆರೆಸೂರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿ ಬೀಳುವರು.
And the teachers among the people will teach many, but they will be ruined by the sword, and by fire, and by captivity, and by assaults for many days.
34 ೩೪ ಬೀಳುವಾಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸಹಾಯ ದೊರೆಯುವುದು. ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಹಳ ಮಂದಿ ನಯವಾದ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
And when they have fallen, they will be supported with a little help, but many will apply to them deceitfully.
35 ೩೫ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೆಲವರು ಅಂತ್ಯಕಾಲದವರೆಗೆ ಬೀಳುತ್ತಿರುವರು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಶೋಧಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ಶುದ್ಧಿಹೊಂದಿ ಶುಭ್ರರಾಗುವರು. ಅಂತ್ಯವು ನಿಶ್ಚಿತಕಾಲದಲ್ಲೇ ಆಗುವುದು.
And some of the learned will be ruined, that they may be kindled and chosen and purified, up to the predetermined time, because there will be still another time.
36 ೩೬ “ರಾಜನು ತನ್ನ ಇಚ್ಛಾನುಸಾರ ನಡೆದು ತಾನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡವನೆಂದು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಗರ್ವದಿಂದ ಉಬ್ಬಿ, ದೇವಾಧಿ ದೇವನನ್ನು ಮಿತಿಮೀರಿ ದೂಷಿಸಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲಿನ ದೈವ ಕೋಪವು ತೀರುವ ತನಕ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿರುವನು. ದೈವಸಂಕಲ್ಪವು ನೆರವೇರಲೇ ಬೇಕು.
And the king will act according to his will, and he will be lifted up and will be extolled against every god. And he will speak great things against the God of gods, and he will control, until the passion is completed. Once accomplished, the limit is reached with certainty.
37 ೩೭ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಮೋಹಿಸುವ ದೇವರನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಯಾವ ದೇವರನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ತನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
And he will give no thought to the God of his fathers, and he will be in the desire of women, and he will not attend to any gods, because he will rise up against all things.
38 ೩೮ ಕುಲದೇವರಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ದುರ್ಗಾಭಿಮಾನಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸುವನು; ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದಲೂ, ರತ್ನಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಸೇವಿಸುವನು.
But he will do homage to the god Maozim in his place, and, a god whom his fathers did not know, he will worship with gold, and silver, and precious stones, and costly things.
39 ೩೯ ಅನ್ಯದೇವರ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಬಲವಾದ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕ್ರಮಿಸುವನು; ಯಾರನ್ನು ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸುವನೋ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವುದು; ಬಹಳ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವನು; ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕ್ರಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಂಚುವನು.
And he will act to reinforce Maozim with an alien god, of whom he has become aware, and he will increase their glory, and will give them power over many, and he will distribute land for free.
40 ೪೦ “ಅಂತ್ಯಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನು ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳಲು, ಅವನು ರಥಾಶ್ವಬಲಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ಬಹು ನಾವೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಕೂಡಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ರಾಜನ ಮೇಲೆ ರಭಸವಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಾಡುನಾಡುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನುಗ್ಗಿ, ತುಂಬಿ ತುಳುಕಿ ಹರಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
And, at the predetermined time, the king of the South will fight against him, and the king of the North will come against him like a tempest, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with a great fleet, and he will enter into the lands, and will crush and pass through.
41 ೪೧ ಅಂದ ಚಂದದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೂ ನುಗ್ಗುವನು. ಅನೇಕ ಸೀಮೆಗಳು ಅವನಿಂದ ಹಾಳಾಗುವವು. ಆದರೆ ಎದೋಮ್ಯರು, ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರು, ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಭಾಗದವರು, ಅವನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
And he will enter into the glorious land, and many will fall. But only these will be saved from his hand: Edom, and Moab, and the first part of the sons of Ammon.
And he will cast his hand upon the lands, and the land of Egypt will not escape.
43 ೪೩ ಅವನು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರಗಳ ನಿಧಿನಿಕ್ಷೇಪಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಒಳ್ಳೊಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸಮಸ್ತ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಶಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. ಲೂಬ್ಯರೂ, ಕೂಷ್ಯರೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ ಹೋಗುವರು.
And he will rule over the treasure chests of gold, and silver, and all the precious things of Egypt, and likewise he will pass through Libya and Ethiopia.
44 ೪೪ ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಪೂರ್ವದಿಂದಲೂ, ಉತ್ತರದಿಂದಲೂ ಬರುವ ಸುದ್ದಿಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸುವುದು ಅವನು ಅತಿ ರೋಷಗೊಂಡು ಬಹಳ ಜನರನ್ನು ಧ್ವಂಸ ಮಾಡಿ, ನಿರ್ನಾಮ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡುವನು.
And rumors from the East and from the North will trouble him. And he will arrive with a great multitude to destroy and to execute many.
45 ೪೫ ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೂ, ಅಂದ ಚಂದದ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೂ ನಡುವೆ ಅರಮನೆಯಂಥ ತನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಸುವನು. ಆಹಾ, ಅವನು ಕೊನೆಗಾಣುವನು, ಯಾರೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡರು.”
And he will fasten his tabernacle, Apadno, between the seas, upon an illustrious and holy mountain, and he will come even to its summit, and no one will help him.”
